[0001] This application claims priority to the following patent application.
[0002] 1. Priority to a patent application filed with the National Intellectual Property Administration of China on March 1, 2021, with application number 202110225462.3 and title of invention "Reversing valve and method of assembling a reversing valve"; and
[0003] 2. Priority to a patent application filed with the National Intellectual Property Administration of China on March 1, 2021, with application number 202120441908.1 and title of invention "Reversing Valve".
[0004] This application relates to the field of reversing valve technology, and more specifically, to a reversing valve and a method for assembling a reversing valve. Background Technology
[0005] The four-way valve includes a main valve and a pilot valve. The D capillary tube of the pilot valve is connected to the D connector of the main valve, and the S capillary tube of the pilot valve is connected to the S connector of the main valve. The E and C capillary tubes of the pilot valve are respectively connected to the valve cavity of the main valve, and the operating state of the main valve can be switched using the pilot valve.
[0006] In the related technology, the pilot valve's capillary tube is installed through the main valve and then directly connected to it, which presents a problem in that assembly is not easy.
[0007] The present application provides a reversing valve and a method for assembling the reversing valve. This solves the problem in related technologies where the capillary tube of the pilot valve is not easy to assemble with the main valve.
[0008] In one aspect of the present application, a reversing valve is provided. The reversing valve comprises: a main valve including a first valve body having a first valve cavity and a connecting pipe having one end communicating with the first valve cavity; a pilot valve including a second valve body having a second valve cavity and a capillary tube having a first end communicating with the connecting pipe or the first valve cavity and a second end communicating with the second valve cavity; and a sleeve. A first mounting hole communicating with an internal hole of the connecting pipe is provided in the side wall of the connecting pipe, and a second mounting hole communicating with the first valve cavity is provided in the first valve body. The sleeve is installed to penetrate the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole. A first end of the capillary tube is installed to penetrate the sleeve.
[0009] In applying the technical solution of the present application, the reversing valve comprises a main valve, a pilot valve, and a sleeve. When assembling the capillary tube of the pilot valve with the main valve, the sleeve is first installed through the first mounting hole of the connecting pipe or the second mounting hole of the first valve body. After the connection between the sleeve and the connecting pipe or the first valve body is completed, the first end of the capillary tube is installed to pass through the sleeve. Finally, by connecting the capillary tube to the sleeve, the assembly of the main valve and the capillary tube can be completed. By utilizing the sleeve for transition, assembly of the capillary tube can be facilitated, and assembly efficiency can be improved.
[0010] In addition, the material of the connector differs from the material of the sleeve. The material of the sleeve is the same as the material of the capillary tube. Transferring using a sleeve is easier to operate than the method of directly connecting the capillary tube to the connector.
[0011] Additionally, the sleeve and the connector are connected by welding in a tunnel, or the sleeve is made of copper and the connector is made of steel. After completing the connection between the sleeve and the connector, the capillary tube is inserted into the sleeve. Furthermore, welding the capillary tube to the sleeve completes the connection between the capillary tube and the connector, making assembly easy.
[0012] Additionally, the capillary includes a main body section and a diameter reduction section. The diameter reduction section is located at the first stage of the capillary and is installed to penetrate the sleeve. The outer diameter of the main body section is larger than the bore diameter of the sleeve. After the diameter reduction section is inserted into the sleeve, the main body section can restrict the capillary from continuing to be inserted into the sleeve because the outer diameter of the main body section is larger than the bore diameter of the sleeve. By controlling the length dimension of the diameter reduction section, the depth dimension into which the capillary is inserted into the sleeve can be controlled.
[0013] Additionally, the connecting pipe includes an inlet pipe, an outlet pipe, and a low-pressure pipe. The capillary tube includes a first capillary tube and a second capillary tube. Both ends of the first capillary tube are connected to the first valve cavity and the second valve cavity, respectively. The first end of the second capillary tube is connected to the inlet pipe or the low-pressure pipe, and the second end of the second capillary tube is connected to the second valve cavity. The operating state of the main valve can be controlled using a pilot valve.
[0014] In addition, the end of the diameter reduction section of the second capillary tube protrudes from the inner wall surface of the connecting tube. The gap between the end of the diameter reduction section and the inner wall surface of the connecting tube is L, and 1 mm ≤ L ≤ 3.5 mm. By setting the gap L within the above section, it is possible to ensure that the second capillary tube is firmly connected while preventing the occurrence of refrigerant throttling. If the gap L is less than 1 mm, a firm connection of the second capillary tube cannot be ensured, and solder is likely to flow into the second capillary tube. If the gap L is greater than 3.5 mm, the depth to which the second capillary tube is inserted into the connecting tube is too deep, causing refrigerant throttling and, furthermore, abnormal noise may occur.
[0015] Additionally, the end of the diameter reduction section of the first capillary is located on the outer side of the inner wall surface of the first valve body. Alternatively, the end of the diameter reduction section of the first capillary is at the same height as the inner wall surface of the first valve body. A movable member is installed within the first valve cavity of the first valve body. By adopting the above-described structure, the diameter reduction section of the first capillary is prevented from interfering with the movement of the movable member, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the device.
[0016] In addition, when the sleeve is installed through the second mounting hole, an annular flange is installed on the outer wall of the first valve body. The annular flange is installed to surround the outer circumference of the second mounting hole. The sleeve is installed to pass through the annular flange. By reinforcing the sleeve using the annular flange, the robustness of the connection between the sleeve and the first valve body can be ensured, and the robustness of the connection between the first capillary tube and the sleeve can be ensured.
[0017] Additionally, the main body section is provided with a first through hole. The diameter reduction section is provided with a second through hole. The first through hole is connected to the second through hole. The diameter of the first through hole is the same as the diameter of the second through hole. Since the diameter of the diameter reduction section and the diameter of the main body section are the same, the diameter of the diameter reduction section is not reduced. Therefore, fluid resistance does not increase, and the diameter reduction section does not throttle the refrigerant.
[0018] Additionally, the capillary tube includes a transition section. One end of the transition section is connected to the main body section, and the other end is connected to the diameter reduction section. The outer diameter of the transition section gradually increases in the direction toward the main body section. Installing the transition section makes it easier to machine the diameter reduction section.
[0019] In addition, the outer wall of the transition section is an inclined or curved surface.
[0020] Additionally, the transition section is located outside the hole opening of the sleeve. When the diameter reduction section is inserted into place, the transition section comes into contact with the hole opening of the sleeve, which can restrict the continued insertion of the capillary.
[0021] In addition, a welding gap is provided between the outer wall of the diameter reduction section and the hole wall of the sleeve. When welding the diameter reduction section and the sleeve, solder fills the welding gap to complete the fixed connection between the capillary and the sleeve.
[0022] In addition, the reversing valve includes a four-way valve.
[0023] In another aspect of the present application, a method for assembling a reversing valve is provided. The method for assembling a reversing valve is used to assemble the reversing valve provided above. The method for assembling a reversing valve comprises: Step 1: installing a sleeve so as to penetrate a first mounting hole or a second mounting hole; Step 2: fitting the outer wall of the sleeve tightly to the wall of the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole using a jig; Step 3: welding the sleeve to a connecting pipe or a first valve body using a tunnel; and Step 4: installing a capillary tube so as to penetrate the sleeve, and when the capillary tube is installed to penetrate at a predetermined position, welding the capillary tube to the sleeve. By using a sleeve for the transition, assembly of the capillary tube can be facilitated and assembly efficiency can be improved. Brief explanation of the drawing

FIG. 3 is a structural diagram of a reversing valve according to an embodiment of the present application. Figure 4 is a structural diagram of the main valve in Figure 1. The attached drawings above include the following reference numerals. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0025] The technical solution of the embodiments of the present application is described clearly and completely below with reference to the accompanying drawings of the embodiments of the present application. The described embodiments are only some, not all, of the present application. One or more exemplary embodiments described below are for illustrative purposes only and do not limit the present application and its application or use. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative work based on the embodiments of the present application fall within the scope of protection of the present application.
[0026] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, an embodiment of the present application provides a reversing valve. The reversing valve comprises a main valve (10), a pilot valve (20), and a sleeve (30). The main valve (10) comprises a first valve body (11) and a connecting pipe (12). The first valve body (11) has a first valve cavity, and one end of the connecting pipe (12) communicates with the first valve cavity. The pilot valve (20) comprises a second valve body (21) and a capillary tube (22). The second valve body (21) has a second valve cavity. A first end of the capillary tube (22) communicates with the connecting pipe (12) or the first valve cavity. A second end of the capillary tube (22) communicates with the second valve cavity. In this embodiment, a first mounting hole is provided in the side wall of the connecting pipe (12) and communicates with the inner hole of the connecting pipe (12). A second mounting hole is installed in the first valve body (11) that communicates with the first valve cavity. A sleeve (30) is installed to pass through the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole. The first end of the capillary tube (22) is installed to pass through the sleeve (30), thereby communicating the first end of the capillary tube (22) with the connecting tube (12) or the first valve cavity.
[0027] When assembling the capillary tube (22) of the pilot valve (20) with the main valve (10) by applying the reversing valve provided in this embodiment, the sleeve (30) is first installed to pass through the first mounting hole of the connecting pipe (12) or the second mounting hole of the first valve body (11). After completing the connection between the sleeve (30) and the connecting pipe (12) or the first valve body (11), the first end of the capillary tube (22) is installed to pass through the sleeve (30). Finally, by connecting the capillary tube (22) to the sleeve (30), the assembly of the capillary tube (22) and the main valve (10) can be completed. By using the sleeve (30) for the reversal, the assembly of the capillary tube (22) can be facilitated and the assembly efficiency can be improved.
[0028] Note that one end of the connecting pipe (12) communicating with the first valve cavity means that one end of the connecting pipe (12) is connected to the first valve body (11), and the end of the connecting pipe (12) penetrates the side wall of the first valve body (11) and communicates with the first valve cavity.
[0029] Here, the material of the connecting tube (12) is different from the material of the sleeve (30). The material of the sleeve (30) is the same as the material of the capillary tube (22). Transferring using the sleeve (30) is easier to operate than the method of directly connecting the capillary tube (22) to the connecting tube (12).
[0030] In this embodiment, the sleeve (30) is made of copper, and the connecting pipe (12) is made of steel. The sleeve (30) and the connecting pipe (12) are connected by welding through a tunnel. After completing the connection between the sleeve (30) and the connecting pipe (12), the capillary tube (22) is inserted into the sleeve (30), and the capillary tube (22) is connected to the sleeve (30) by welding. This allows the connection between the capillary tube (22) and the connecting pipe (12) to be completed, making assembly easy.
[0031] Specifically, the connecting pipe (12) is made of stainless steel, and the sleeve (30) is made of copper.
[0032] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the capillary (22) includes a main section (221) and a diameter reduction section (222). The diameter reduction section (222) is located at the first end of the capillary (22) and is installed to penetrate the sleeve (30). The outer diameter of the main section (221) is larger than the bore diameter of the sleeve (30). After inserting the diameter reduction section (222) into the sleeve (30), the main section (221) can restrict the capillary (22) from being continuously inserted into the sleeve (30) because the outer diameter of the main section (221) is larger than the bore diameter of the sleeve (30). The depth of insertion of the capillary (22) into the sleeve (30) can be controlled by controlling the length dimension of the diameter reduction section (222).
[0033] When assembling the sleeve (30) to the connecting pipe (12) or the first valve body (11), the insertion depth of the sleeve (30) is controlled using a jig. Additionally, by combining the structure of the diameter reduction section (222), the depth dimension into which the capillary tube (22) is inserted into the connecting pipe (12) or the first valve body (11) can be limited.
[0034] If the capillary tube of the pilot valve is inserted too deeply into the connecting tube, refrigerant throttling may occur as the refrigerant flows through the cross-section of the connecting tube during air conditioner use, causing abnormal noise. This affects the user experience. In this embodiment, the depth to which the capillary tube (22) is inserted into the connecting tube (12) can be limited by using the fit between the sleeve (30) and the diameter reduction section (222). This prevents abnormal noise caused by refrigerant throttling, thereby improving the user experience.
[0035] The method of installing a diameter reduction section (222) in the first stage of the capillary tube (22) has the advantage of a simple structure and easy processing. Therefore, processing and assembly costs can be reduced.
[0036] As illustrated in FIG. 3, in this embodiment, the connecting pipe (12) includes an inlet pipe (121), an outlet pipe (122), and a low-pressure pipe (123). The capillary tube (22) includes a first capillary tube (223) and a second capillary tube (224). Both ends of the first capillary tube (223) are in communication with the first valve cavity and the second valve cavity, respectively. The first end of the second capillary tube (224) is in communication with the inlet pipe (121) or the low-pressure pipe (123). The second end of the second capillary tube (224) is in communication with the second valve cavity. The operating state of the main valve (10) can be controlled using the pilot valve (20).
[0037] As shown in FIG. 2, the end of the diameter reduction section (222) of the second capillary tube (224) protrudes from the inner wall surface of the connecting tube (12). The gap between the end of the diameter reduction section (222) and the inner wall surface of the connecting tube (12) is L, and 1 mm ≤ L ≤ 3.5 mm. By setting the gap L within the above range, it is possible to ensure that the second capillary tube (224) is firmly connected while preventing the occurrence of refrigerant throttling. If the gap L is less than 1 mm, the firm connection of the second capillary tube (224) cannot be ensured, and solder is likely to flow into the second capillary tube (224). If the gap L is greater than 3.5 mm, the depth to which the second capillary tube (224) is inserted into the connecting tube (12) is too deep, causing refrigerant throttling and, furthermore, abnormal noise may occur.
[0038] In this embodiment, the end of the sleeve (30) protrudes from the inner wall surface of the connecting tube (12). The end of the diameter reduction section (222) of the second capillary tube (224) protrudes from the end of the sleeve (30).
[0039] Note that the fact that the end of the diameter reduction section (222) protrudes from the inner wall surface of the connecting pipe (12) means that the distance between the end of the diameter reduction section (222) and the axis of the connecting pipe (12) is smaller than the distance between the inner wall surface of the connecting pipe (12) and the axis of the connecting pipe (12).
[0040] In this embodiment, the end of the diameter reduction section (222) of the first capillary (223) is located on the outer side of the inner wall surface of the first valve body (11). Alternatively, the end of the diameter reduction section (222) of the first capillary (223) is at the same height as the inner wall surface of the first valve body (11). A movable member is installed within the first valve cavity of the first valve body (11). By adopting the above-described structure, the diameter reduction section (222) of the first capillary (223) is prevented from interfering with the movement of the movable member, thereby ensuring normal operation of the device.
[0041] In order to ensure the connection strength between the sleeve (30) and the first valve body (11), when the sleeve (30) is installed through the second mounting hole, an annular flange is installed on the outer wall of the first valve body (11). The annular flange is installed to surround the outer circumference of the second mounting hole, and the sleeve (30) is installed to pass through the annular flange.
[0042] The end of the diameter reduction section (222) of the first capillary tube (223) is located on the outer side of the inner wall surface of the first valve body (11), or the end of the diameter reduction section (222) of the first capillary tube (223) is at the same height as the inner wall surface of the first valve body (11). Therefore, by reinforcing the sleeve (30) using an annular flange, the connection tightness between the sleeve (30) and the first valve body (11) can be ensured, and the connection tightness between the first capillary tube (223) and the sleeve (30) can be ensured.
[0043] Here, the main body section (221) is provided with a first through hole. The diameter reduction section (222) is provided with a second through hole. The first through hole is connected to the second through hole. The diameter of the first through hole is the same as the diameter of the second through hole. Since the diameter of the diameter reduction section (222) and the diameter of the main body section (221) are the same, the diameter of the diameter reduction section (222) is not reduced. Therefore, fluid resistance does not increase, and the diameter reduction section (222) does not throttle the refrigerant.
[0044] Specifically, the outer diameter of the main body section (221) is larger than the outer diameter of the diameter reduction section (222). The inner diameter of the main body section (221) is the same as the inner diameter of the diameter reduction section (222).
[0045] In this embodiment, a welding gap is provided between the outer wall of the diameter reduction section (222) and the hole wall of the sleeve (30). When welding the diameter reduction section (222) and the sleeve (30), solder fills the welding gap to complete the fixed connection between the capillary (22) and the sleeve (30).
[0046] Here, the capillary (22) may further include a transition section. One end of the transition section is connected to the main body section (221), and the other end of the transition section is connected to the diameter reduction section (222). The outer diameter of the transition section gradually increases in the direction toward the main body section (221). Installing the transition section makes it easy to process the diameter reduction section (222). Here, the outer wall of the transition section may be an inclined surface, and the structure is simple. Alternatively, the outer wall of the transition section may be installed as a curved surface.
[0047] Specifically, the transition section is located outside the hole opening of the sleeve (30). When the diameter reduction section (222) is inserted in place, the transition section comes into contact with the hole opening of the sleeve (30), thereby restricting the continued insertion of the capillary (22).
[0048] In this embodiment, the reversing valve includes a four-way valve.
[0049] In this embodiment, the connecting pipe (12) includes two outlet pipes (122). The low-pressure pipe (123) is located between the two outlet pipes (122).
[0050] Another embodiment of the present application provides a method for assembling a reversing valve. The method for assembling the reversing valve is used to assemble the reversing valve provided above. The method for assembling the reversing valve comprises the following steps.
[0051] Step 1: Install the sleeve (30) so that it penetrates the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole.
[0052] Step 2: Use a jig to fit the outer wall of the sleeve (30) snugly against the wall of the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole.
[0053] Step 3: Use a tunnel to weld the sleeve (30) to the connecting pipe (12) or the first valve body (11).
[0054] Step 4: Install the capillary tube (22) so as to penetrate the sleeve (30). Once the capillary tube (22) is installed through the sleeve (30) at a predetermined position, weld the capillary tube (22) to the sleeve (30).
[0055] In step 2, the outer wall of the sleeve (30) is fitted tightly against the wall of the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole using a jig. Specifically, the following steps are included. That is, when the sleeve (30) is installed through the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole, the jig is inserted into the inner hole of the sleeve (30), and the sleeve (30) is flared using the jig. By doing so, the outer wall of the sleeve (30) is supported tightly against the wall of the first mounting hole or the second mounting hole, thereby achieving pre-fixing of the sleeve (30).
[0056] Here, the jig is completed from the inside of the connecting tube (12) toward the outside, so as not to damage the diameter of the capillary insertion port.
[0057] In step 4, when the capillary tube (22) is installed through a predetermined position, the capillary tube (22) is welded to the sleeve (30). Specifically, the following steps are included: that is, the diameter reduction section (222) of the capillary tube (22) is inserted into the sleeve (30). Then, as the diameter reduction section (222) is inserted deeply, when the main body section (221) and the tube opening of the sleeve (30) come into contact, the main body section (221) can restrict the capillary tube (22) from being continuously inserted into the sleeve (30). At this time, the capillary tube (22) is installed through a predetermined position. Then, when the capillary tube (22) is welded to the sleeve (30), the assembly is completed.
[0058] The foregoing is merely a preferred embodiment of the present application and is not intended to limit the application. Those skilled in the art to which this application pertains may make various modifications and changes to the invention. All modifications, equivalent substitutions, improvements, etc., made within the spirit and principles of this application shall be included within the scope of protection of this application.
