Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a chip conveyor device that receives burrs, scrap, and chips generated after processing a workpiece from various machine tools, transports them to a chip collection container, and discharges them. Background Technology

[0002] In general, machine tools using cutting tools generate high heat at the contact point between the workpiece and the cutting tool during cutting operations. Since this heat can deteriorate the workpiece or burn out the cutting tool, cutting fluid is used to provide cooling and lubrication between the workpiece and the cutting tool, thereby enabling higher cutting speeds.

[0003] As described above, the large amount of chips and cutting fluid generated after machining a workpiece from a machine tool is automatically discharged using a chip conveyor system for the efficient operation of the machine tool, and the discharged chips and cutting fluid are separated and collected during the discharge process. However, while the chips are discharged into a chip collection bin, the cutting fluid is temporarily stored in a storage tank, filtered, and then circulated for reuse.

[0004] That is, a chip conveyor device according to the prior art comprises, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a chip conveyor unit (10) that receives chips and cutting fluid from a machine tool (1) and transports and discharges the chips, a cutting fluid reuse unit (20) that receives and stores the cutting fluid from the chip conveyor unit (10) and then resupplies the cutting fluid to the machine tool (1), and a chip collection container (30) that collects the chips discharged from the chip conveyor unit (10).

[0005] Here, the chip conveyor unit (10) comprises a frame (11) having a chip supply hole (11a) opened on the front upper surface to receive the chips and cutting fluid, and a chip discharge hole (11b) opened on the rear lower surface that is raised at an angle to discharge the chips, and a conveyor belt (12) installed inside the frame (11) to operate in an endless track manner along the front-rear longitudinal direction to convey chips supplied from the chip supply hole (11a) of the frame (11) and discharge them to the chip discharge hole (11b) of the frame (11). The conveyor belt (12) may include a hinge belt, an apron belt, a scraper belt, etc., and a composite belt formed by combining each thereof.

[0006] Additionally, although not specifically illustrated in the drawing, the above-mentioned cutting fluid reuse unit (20) includes a storage tank for storing cutting fluid supplied to the interior of the frame (11), a filter for filtering fine chips, a resupply tank for storing filtered cutting fluid, and a motor pump and valve for resupplying from the resupply tank to the machine tool (1).

[0007] The chip conveyor device configured as described above generally receives chips and cutting fluid from the chip supply hole (11a) of the frame (11) through the chip conveyor section (10), and transports them to the chip discharge hole (11b) of the frame (11) by driving the conveyor belt (12) and discharges them. At this time, the cutting fluid passes through the conveyor belt (12), is stored in the cutting fluid reuse section (20) which is connected to the front lower part of the frame (11), and is filtered and reused, while only the chips are discharged through the chip discharge hole (11b) of the frame (11) by the conveyor belt (12) and collected in the chip collection container (30).

[0008] At this time, the types of chips discharged from the machine tool (1) can be divided into relatively large chips in the form of lines or lumps and fine chips in the form of powder, depending on the material of the workpiece and the cutting method. In the case of relatively large chips in the form of lines or lumps, they are easily discharged after being transported by the conveyor belt (12), but in the case of fine chips in the form of powder, they escape through the conveyor belt (12) together with the cutting fluid.

[0009] If fine chips in the form of powder that escape along with the cutting fluid are supplied directly from the inside of the frame (11) to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20), the fine chips will accumulate in the filter of the cutting fluid reuse unit (20) in an instant, thereby impairing the continuity of the operation. Therefore, when supplying cutting fluid from the inside of the frame (11) to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20), the fine chips must be filtered first.

[0010] For example, a cylindrical drum filter may be installed, such as in the ‘chip conveyor’ of Registered Utility Model Publication No. 20-0371710, the ‘filter assembly structure of a chip conveyor’ of Registered Utility Model Publication No. 20-0346999, and the ‘chip conveyor device’ of Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1179924; a cuboidal box filter may be installed, such as in the ‘chip filtration conveyor’ of Published Patent Publication No. 10-2014-0040682, as shown in FIG. 1 to 3; or a drum filter and a box filter may be installed together in combination, such as in the ‘chip conveyor device’ of Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1615863.

[0011] In the case of the drum filter mentioned above, it has the disadvantage of requiring a separate rotating device and having poor space utilization, whereas the box filter (40) has the advantage of good installation convenience and space utilization. That is, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the box filter (40) is a box-shaped filter installed inside the frame (11) below the chip supply hole (11a) of the frame (11), with a plate-shaped mesh filter member (41) attached to the upper and lower surfaces, and filters the cutting fluid supplied inside the frame (11) and supplies it to the cutting fluid reuse section (20) through the opening (42).

[0012] Unlike the rotary drum filter mentioned above, the box filter (40) is fixed, so it is necessary to remove fine chips that accumulate on the plate-shaped mesh filter member (41) attached to the upper and lower surfaces. To this end, as shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of chip brushes (12a) are attached at regular intervals so as to protrude in the inner direction of the conveyor belt (12) that rotates in an endless track, and they come into contact with and sweep the mesh filter member (41) attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the box filter (40).

[0013] However, in order to filter the microchips as perfectly as possible, if the mesh spacing of the mesh filter member (41) coupled to the upper and lower surfaces of the box filter (40) becomes too narrow, it becomes difficult for the cutting fluid to pass through easily, and the cutting fluid may overflow from the inside of the frame (11) and flow out, and conversely, if the mesh spacing becomes too large, there is a problem that the microchips cannot be filtered properly.

[0014] Therefore, a new structure of a box filter is required that allows cutting fluid to pass easily by making the mesh spacing of the mesh filter member (41) of an appropriate size, while filtering out fine chips with a particle size of some size and even very small fine chips smaller than that. The problem to be solved

[0015] The objective of the present invention, devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, is to provide a chip conveyor device equipped with a box filter of a new structure capable of filtering even very small microchips, which is a disadvantage of box filters, while retaining the advantages of conventional box filters. means of solving the problem

[0016] To achieve the above objectives, the chip conveyor device according to the present invention comprises: a chip conveyor unit that receives chips and cutting fluid from a machine tool and transports and discharges the chips; a cutting fluid reuse unit that filters, recovers, and stores the cutting fluid supplied to the chip conveyor unit and then resupplies the cutting fluid to the machine tool; and a chip collection container that collects chips discharged from the chip conveyor unit. The chip conveyor unit comprises: a frame having a chip supply hole opened on its front upper surface to receive the chips and cutting fluid, and a chip discharge hole opened on its rear lower surface which is inclinedly raised to discharge the chips; a conveyor belt installed inside the frame to operate in an endless track manner along the front-rear longitudinal direction to transport chips supplied from the chip supply hole of the frame and discharge them to the chip discharge hole of the frame; and a plate-shaped mesh filter member coupled to the upper and lower surfaces of a box shape having one of the left and right sides as an open surface, and positioned between the tracks of the conveyor belt inside the frame so as to be located below the chip supply hole of the frame. It is characterized by including a box filter that is inserted and installed, filters the cutting fluid supplied inside the frame, and supplies it to the cutting fluid reuse section through the opening, and a magnet filter that has a rectangular frame shape composed of front, rear, left, and right side walls so as to be inserted into the interior of the box filter through the opening of the box filter, and has a plurality of magnet rods coupled inside to magnetically attract and filter chips contained in the cutting fluid.

[0017] In addition, the magnet filter is characterized by further including a handle formed to protrude from one of the left and right side walls constituting the square frame so as to be exposed from the opening.

[0018] In addition, it is characterized by further including a cutting fluid guide composed of an upper bracket that is coupled to surround the lower perimeter of the opening surface of the box filter in a 'U' shape with an upper opening, and a guide flow plate that is formed in a shape that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, with the upper end extended and coupled to the lower end of the upper bracket to guide the cutting fluid flowing out from the opening surface of the box filter downward.

[0019] In addition, the box filter is characterized by having a pair of screw bodies protruding from the opening surface, and the cutting fluid guide is characterized by having a pair of screw insertion holes formed through the upper end of the upper bracket so as to be inserted into the screw bodies of the opening surface, and each being fixed with a pair of fixing nuts.

[0020] In addition, the cutting fluid guide is characterized by having a plurality of magnet bars coupled to the guide fluid plate to attract and filter chips contained in the cutting fluid by magnetic force.

[0021] In addition, the conveyor belt is characterized by further including a plurality of chip brushes that are coupled to protrude at regular intervals along the inner circumference direction while rotating as an endless track, and which contact and sweep the mesh filter member of the box filter. Specific details for implementing the invention

[0025] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of a chip conveyor device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0026] As shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 8, the chip conveyor device according to the present invention comprises a chip conveyor unit (10) that receives chips and cutting fluid from a machine tool (1) and transports and discharges the chips, a cutting fluid reuse unit (20) that filters and recovers the cutting fluid supplied to the chip conveyor unit (10), stores it, and then resupplies the cutting fluid to the machine tool (1), and a chip collection container (30) that collects the chips discharged from the chip conveyor unit (10). Here, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 11, the chip conveyor unit (10) includes a frame (100), a conveyor belt (200), a box filter (300), and a magnet filter (400), and may further include a cutting fluid guide (500).

[0027] As shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 8, the frame (100) has a chip supply hole (110) opened on its front upper surface to receive the chips and cutting fluid, and a chip discharge hole (120) opened on its rear lower surface, which is raised at an angle to discharge the chips. That is, the frame (100) is formed to be long in the front and rear directions, and the rear is formed to be higher than the front so that chips and cutting fluid are supplied from the machine tool (1) through the chip supply hole (110) at the front, the cutting fluid is stored inside the frame (100), and only the chips are transported to the rear of the frame (100) by the conveyor belt (200) to be described later and discharged through the chip discharge hole (120). The general shape and structure of such a frame (100) are widely known, but as a characteristic configuration, a box filter (300) to be described later is inserted and installed on the side to filter fine chips contained in the cutting fluid stored inside and supply them to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20).

[0028] As shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 8, the conveyor belt (200) is installed to operate in an endless track manner along the front-rear longitudinal direction inside the frame (100) to convey chips supplied from the chip supply hole (110) of the frame (100) and discharge them to the chip discharge hole (120) of the frame (100). The general shape and structure of such a conveyor belt (200) are also widely known, and other left-right chain drives and various types of belts or coupling relationships are omitted.

[0029] Fine powdered chips are generated not only when the chips conveyed by the conveyor belt (200) are in the form of powdered chips, but also when they are in the form of linear or lumpy chips. The powdered chips pass through the joint surfaces between the conveyor belts (200) along with the cutting fluid and move into the interior of the frame (100) together with the cutting fluid. The cutting fluid and fine powdered chips stored inside the frame (100) are supplied to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20) as shown in FIG. 4. A box filter (300) is installed to filter the fine chips from the cutting fluid as much as possible before being supplied to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20).

[0030] As shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, the box filter (300) is a box shape in which one of the left and right sides is an open surface (310), and a plate-shaped mesh filter member (320) is attached to the upper and lower surfaces, and is inserted and installed inside the frame (100) so as to be positioned between the tracks of the conveyor belt (200) below the chip supply hole (110) of the frame (100), and filters the cutting fluid supplied inside the frame (100) and supplies it to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20) through the open surface (310).

[0031] That is, the box filter (300) filters cutting fluid and chips falling from the chip supply hole (110) through the mesh filter member (320) coupled to the upper surface as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, and filters cutting fluid and chips stored inside the frame (100) through the mesh filter member (320) coupled to the lower surface, and discharges them through the opening (310) so that the level of cutting fluid stored inside the frame (100) does not overflow, and supplies them to the cutting fluid reuse section (20).

[0032] At this time, it is necessary to continuously sweep the chips filtered by the mesh filter member (320) coupled to the upper and lower surfaces of the box filter (300) so that they do not clog the mesh filter member (320), and for this purpose, a plurality of chip brushes (210) are installed. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the plurality of chip brushes (210) are coupled so as to protrude along the inner circumference of the conveyor belt (200) which rotates in an endless track, and come into contact with and sweep the mesh filter member (320) of the box filter (300).

[0033] In the conventional configuration of such a box filter (300), chip filtering is determined solely by the mesh spacing of the mesh filter member (320) coupled to the upper and lower surfaces. If the mesh spacing is too narrow, it is difficult to discharge the cutting fluid, and conversely, if it is too wide, chip filtering is not properly achieved, so an appropriate spacing is required. However, if an appropriate spacing of the mesh filter member (320) is set, filtering of chips of a certain size can be achieved, but filtering of fine chips smaller than that spacing cannot be achieved, so they must be supplied to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20) along with the cutting fluid. Therefore, a magnet filter (400) described later is installed to enable filtering of even fine chips that cannot be filtered by the mesh filter member (320) of the box filter (300) as described above.

[0034] As shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, the magnet filter (400) is a rectangular frame shape composed of front, rear, left, and right side walls so as to be inserted into the interior of the box filter (300) through the opening (310) of the box filter (300), and a plurality of magnet rods (410) are coupled inside to attract and filter chips contained in the cutting fluid by magnetic force. Here, the magnet filter (400) further includes a handle (420) formed protruding from one of the left and right side walls constituting the rectangular frame so as to be exposed from the opening (310).

[0035] The magnet rod (410) of the above magnet filter (400) is a permanent magnet with magnetic force and naturally targets microchips that are magnetic materials, and filters cutting fluid by attaching microchips to the surface through attractive force. However, the features of this magnet filter (400) are, firstly, that it maintains the structure of the box filter (300) while attempting to resolve the disadvantages of the box filter (300), and secondly, that the magnet filter (400) has a structure in which it is inserted into the box filter (300) by gripping the handle (420) in a square frame shape, thereby providing ease of assembly and convenience for replacement and cleaning when collecting filtered microchips.

[0036] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 4, when cutting fluid is discharged through the opening (310) of the box filter (300) and supplied to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20), it is necessary to guide the cutting fluid so that it does not flow in a different direction along the surface of the frame (100) or splatter around incorrectly, and this can be achieved through the cutting fluid guide (500) described later.

[0037] That is, the cutting fluid guide (500) is composed of an upper bracket (510) that is connected to wrap around the lower circumference of the opening surface (310) of the box filter (300) in a 'U' shape with an upper opening as shown in FIGS. 8 to 11, and a guide channel plate (520) that is connected to the lower end of the upper bracket (510) in a shape that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, and guides the cutting fluid flowing out from the opening surface (310) of the box filter (300) downward.

[0038] At this time, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, a pair of screw bodies (301) are formed protruding from the opening (310) of the box filter (300), and as shown in FIGS. 9 to 11, a pair of screw insertion holes (511) are formed through the upper end of the upper bracket (510) so as to be inserted into the screw bodies (301) of the opening (310), and are each fixed with a pair of fixing nuts (530).

[0039] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 11, the cutting fluid guide (500) may have a plurality of magnet bars (521) coupled to the guide flow plate (520) to attract and filter chips contained in the cutting fluid by magnetic force. Here, the magnet bars (521) are also permanent magnets with magnetic force and naturally target microchips that are magnetic materials, and filter the cutting fluid by attaching microchips to the surface through attractive force. As shown in FIG. 11, the coupling position of the magnet bars (521) may be positioned so as not to be exposed on the upper surface by coupling to the lower surface of the guide flow plate (520), or it may be positioned in various ways on the upper surface of the guide flow plate (520) to interfere with the direction of flow of the cutting fluid.

[0040] That is, chips larger than a certain size are preemptively filtered through the mesh filter member (320) of the box filter (300) described above, fine chips are first filtered by magnetic force through the magnet rod (410) of the magnet filter (400), and fine chips contained in the cutting fluid discharged through the opening (310) of the box filter (300) are secondarily and finally filtered through the magnet bar (521) coupled to the guide flow plate (520) of the cutting fluid guide (500) to supply the cutting fluid to the cutting fluid reuse section (20).

[0041] Accordingly, the fine chips contained in the cutting fluid supplied to the cutting fluid reuse unit (20) can be drastically reduced, and in particular, the magnetic filter (400) is structured to be easily inserted through the opening (310) of the box filter (300) by gripping the handle (420), and the cutting fluid guide (500) is structured to be screw-coupled through the nut (530) of the upper bracket (510), so it can be easily assembled and replaced, and thus has the effect of making it very easy to remove and clean the fine chips after filtering.

[0042] The embodiments of the present invention described above and illustrated in the drawings should not be interpreted as limiting the technical scope of the present invention. The scope of protection of the present invention is limited only by the matters described in the claims, and a person skilled in the art may modify or change the technical scope of the present invention in various forms. Accordingly, such modifications and changes will fall within the scope of protection of the present invention insofar as they are obvious to a person skilled in the art. Explanation of the symbols
