Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an automatic tension adjustment device for overhead catenary lines of electric railways. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, an overhead line is a facility that supplies electricity to an electric railway vehicle by making direct contact with the vehicle's pantograph.

[0003] When overhead wires and messenger wires are installed in fixed positions, the tension decreases or increases due to shrinkage and expansion caused by temperature changes as well as wear on the wires. This causes the shape within the span to deform, which negatively affects the current collection performance of electric railway vehicles. Consequently, there is a problem in that constant tension cannot be maintained.

[0004] To solve these problems, devices for adjusting overhead line tension are being used. Overhead line tension adjustment devices include automatic and manual types. Since manual tension adjustment devices are inconvenient as operators must manually adjust the tension one by one, automatic tension adjustment devices that automatically adjust tension in response to changes in the surrounding environment, such as temperature fluctuations, are widely used.

[0005] There are various types of automatic tension adjustment devices, but here we will describe the leaf spring type (roll type) automatic adjustment device.

[0006] The conventional leaf spring type (roll type) automatic tension adjustment device maintains the tension of the overhead line and messenger wire connected to the yoke.

[0007] A spiral wheel is installed on each side of the above-mentioned automatic tension adjustment device, and an adjustment rope wound around the spiral wheel provides constant tension while connected to a yoke. Accordingly, the overhead line tension rod connected to the yoke is directly connected to the overhead line, thereby maintaining constant tension in the overhead line.

[0008] However, conventional automatic tension adjustment devices make it difficult to verify whether the overhead line maintains a constant tension, and the large surface area of the wheel and rope creates a potential for errors in tension fluctuations due to resistance caused by friction. Additionally, freezing conditions caused by snow and rain in winter can act as a factor hindering the movement of the tension device.

[0009] Consequently, there was inconvenience for workers in checking the tension status due to tension fluctuations.

[0010] In addition, since the spiral wheels installed on both sides of the aforementioned automatic tension adjustment device maintain constant tension in the overhead line through the tension of the adjustment ropes, accurate power transmission and balance are required for the adjustment ropes on both sides; however, it is difficult to maintain this due to the external environment. [0011] Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-0679509 (Title of Invention: Transmission Line Tension Maintaining Assembly with Transmission Line Tension Deformation Length Adjustment Function, Published Feb. 06, 2007) Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1329632 (Title of Invention: Tension Spring Compensation Device, Published Feb. 10, 2010) The problem to be solved

[0012] The present invention was devised in consideration of the above points, and aims to provide an automatic tension adjustment device for overhead catenary lines of electric railways that ensures accurate power is transmitted to a yoke connected to the catenary line to maintain the tension of the catenary line more stably, and accurately determines the tension of the catenary line installed on the catenary line using a gauge to maintain a constant tension state. means of solving the problem

[0013] According to a preferred embodiment for achieving the objectives of the present invention described above, the electric railway overhead line automatic tension adjustment device according to the present invention comprises: a cylindrical outer casing having side plates installed on each side; a roll-shaped leaf spring installed inside the outer casing; a main shaft positioned in the center of the outer casing and connected to the leaf spring, and inserted and installed in the center of the side plates; a spiral wheel installed at each end of the main shaft, with a chain wound around its outer side to transmit the tension of the leaf spring through the main shaft; and a yoke having both ends connected to the chain and an overhead line tension rod connected to the central part to maintain constant tension of the overhead line.

[0014] It further includes a distance measuring gauge installed in front of the outer casing facing the yoke, which determines the tension of the overhead line by measuring the distance between the yoke and the outer casing.

[0015] The spiral wheel includes at least one sprocket, and the sprocket is connected to a chain to transmit the tension power of the leaf spring.

[0016] Multiple sprockets of different diameters are installed along the spiral wheel.

[0017] The above sprocket transmits greater tension power to the yoke as its diameter decreases.

[0018] The above yoke has connecting shafts installed on each side, and the chain is connected to the connecting shafts to transmit the tension power of the leaf spring to the yoke.

[0019] The above distance measuring gauge includes a laser measuring tape installed on the above enclosure and a distance reference plate installed on the above yoke.

[0020] The above laser measuring tape can measure changes in the tension of the overhead line by shooting a laser at the distance reference plate to measure the distance between the outer casing and the yoke. Effects of the invention

[0021] According to the electric railway overhead line automatic tension adjustment device of the present invention, accurate power of the leaf spring is transmitted to the yoke connected to the overhead line, thereby accurately maintaining the balance on both sides of the device, and as the frictional force due to the large surface area of the wheel and rope is converted into the teeth of the sprocket, the frictional force is applied very small, thereby reducing the loss of tension resistance, and also minimizes factors that interfere with the operation of the tension device due to freezing conditions caused by snow and rain in winter.

[0022] This allows the tension of the overhead line to be maintained more stably and consistently.

[0023] In addition, by accurately determining the tension of the overhead contact line installed on the overhead line using a gauge and maintaining a constant tension state, the work efficiency of the operator is improved, and the device can be operated safely through the enhancement of the performance of the automatic tension adjustment device. [0025] Hereinafter, an embodiment of an automatic tension adjustment device for an overhead catenary line of an electric railway according to the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings. At this time, the present invention is not limited or restricted by the embodiments. Furthermore, in describing the present invention, specific descriptions of known functions or configurations may be omitted to clarify the gist of the present invention.

[0026] FIG. 1 is a drawing illustrating an automatic tension adjustment device for an overhead electric railway line according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a drawing illustrating the structure of an automatic tension adjustment device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0027] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the electric railway overhead line automatic tension adjustment device (1) according to the present invention comprises an outer casing (10), a leaf spring (20), a main shaft (30), a spiral wheel (40), and a yoke (50), and maintains the tension of the overhead line (2) and the messenger line connected to the yoke (50) while the automatic tension adjustment device (1) is fixed to a structure such as a utility pole.

[0028] In this embodiment, the outer casing (10) of the automatic tension adjustment device (1) is cylindrical and has side plates (11) installed on each side, the plate spring (20) is formed in a roll shape and installed inside the outer casing (10), and the main shaft (30) is positioned in the center of the outer casing (10), connected to the plate spring (20), and inserted and installed in the center of the side plates (11).

[0029] In addition, the spiral wheel (40) of the above automatic tension adjustment device (1) is installed at each end of the main shaft (30), and a chain (60) is wound around the outside so that the tension of the leaf spring (20) is transmitted through the main shaft (30), and the yoke (50) has both ends connected to the chain (60), and a catenary wire rod (51) is connected to the center so that a constant tension of the catenary wire (2) can be maintained.

[0030] That is, the above automatic tension adjustment device (1) maintains constant tension in the overhead line of an electric railway. It provides the tension of the leaf spring (20) inside the outer casing (10) to the spiral wheel (40) through the main shaft (30), and provides constant tension while the chain wound around the spiral wheel (40) is connected to the yoke (50). Accordingly, the overhead line guide rod (51) connected to the yoke (50) is directly connected to the overhead line (2) to maintain constant tension in the overhead line (2).

[0031] In the above automatic tension adjustment device (1), since the spiral wheel (40) at both ends of the outer casing (10) and the two ends of the yoke (50) are each connected by a chain (60), the precise tension power of the leaf spring (20) is transmitted to the yoke (50) connected to the overhead line (2), thereby allowing the tension of the overhead line (2) to be maintained more stably.

[0032] In this embodiment, the automatic tension adjustment device (1) includes a distance measuring gauge (70) installed in front of the outer casing (10) facing the yoke (50) to determine the tension of the overhead line (2) by measuring the distance between the yoke (50) and the outer casing (10). A worker measures the distance between the yoke (50) and the outer casing (10) using the distance measuring gauge (70) to determine the tension of the overhead line (2).

[0033] The tension of the overhead line (2) is adjusted by determining whether the tension has increased or decreased through the distance between the above yoke (50) and the outer casing (10).

[0034] FIG. 3 is a drawing illustrating a chain and a sprocket of an automatic tension adjustment device according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a drawing illustrating a sprocket of an automatic tension adjustment device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0035] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the automatic tension adjustment device (1) transmits power of the leaf spring (20) through a chain (60) and a sprocket (80). The spiral wheel (40) includes at least one sprocket (80), and the sprocket (80) is connected to the chain (60) to transmit tension power of the leaf spring (20).

[0036] That is, the tension power generated in the plate spring (20) inside the outer casing (10) is transmitted through the chain (60) by the rotation of the sprocket (80).

[0037] Additionally, a plurality of sprockets (80) with different diameters are installed along the spiral wheel (40), and sprockets (80) with different diameters can be selected and connected by a chain (60) according to the tension of the overhead line (2).

[0038] Therefore, the sprocket (80) transmits a greater tension power to the yoke (50) as its diameter decreases, so the smaller the diameter of the sprocket (80), the greater the tension power and the tension can be maintained, and the larger the diameter of the sprocket (80), the smaller the tension power and the tension can be maintained.

[0039] Additionally, the yoke (50) has connecting shafts (52) installed on each side, and a chain (60) is connected to the connecting shafts (52) to transmit tension power of the leaf spring (20) to the yoke (50). The chain (60) is coupled with one end connected to the sprocket (80) so that tension power of the leaf spring (20) can be transmitted to the yoke (50) through the chain (60).

[0040] Accordingly, by adjusting the tension of the overhead line (2) connected to the yoke (50) through the sprocket (80) connected to the leaf spring (20) and the main shaft (30), the chain (60) moves forward or backward according to the tension of the overhead line (2).

[0041] FIG. 5 is a drawing illustrating a laser measuring tape of an automatic tension adjustment device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0042] Referring to FIG. 5, the distance measuring gauge (70) includes a laser measuring tape (71) installed on the outer casing (10) and a distance reference plate (72) installed on the yoke (50). The laser measuring tape (71) can measure the change in tension of the overhead line (2) by shooting a laser at the distance reference plate (72) to measure the distance between the outer casing (10) and the yoke (50).

[0043] That is, after the worker operates the laser measuring tape (71) to check the change in tension of the overhead line (2), the distance to the distance reference plate (72) is measured, and the change in tension of the overhead line (2) can be determined by comparing this distance with the previously measured distance.

[0044] In addition, by installing a solar panel (not shown) on the laser measuring tape (71) to charge the battery, the laser measuring tape (71) can be used semi-permanently.

[0045] Accordingly, the above automatic tension adjustment device (1) accurately maintains the balance on both sides of the device by transmitting the precise power of the leaf spring (20) to the yoke (50) connected to the overhead line (2), and as the frictional force due to the large surface area of the wheel and rope is converted into the teeth of the sprocket (80), the frictional force is applied very small, thereby reducing the loss of tension resistance, and also minimizes factors that interfere with the operation of the automatic tension adjustment device (1) due to freezing conditions caused by snow and rain in winter. Through this, the tension of the overhead line (2) can be maintained more stably and consistently.

[0046] In addition, the tension of the overhead line (2) installed on the overhead line is accurately determined using a distance measuring gauge (70) to maintain a constant tension state, thereby improving the workability of the worker and allowing the device to be operated safely through the improvement of the performance of the automatic tension adjustment device (1).

[0047] Although the present invention has been illustrated and described above in relation to preferred embodiments to illustrate the principles of the invention, the invention is not limited to the configuration and operation as illustrated and described. Rather, those skilled in the art will understand that numerous changes and modifications to the invention are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
