Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a noise and vibration reduction device capable of minimizing blasting noise during the tunnel excavation process. Background Technology

[0002] As new roads or train lines are established, construction work to build new tunnels is taking place in various locations.

[0003] Construction methods for excavating such tunnels include using a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) or the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM) using explosives, and the NATM method using explosives is mainly applied rather than the TBM method.

[0004] In the case of the NATM method, there is a problem with blasting noise, so technology involving the installation of soundproof doors at tunnel portals is being applied to mitigate this. However, conventional noise and vibration reduction technologies, such as soundproof doors, have limitations in their reduction performance, leading to various complaints regarding the inconvenience.

[0005] To address these issues, noise and vibration are being reduced to the extent of installing soundproof doors at the entrances of tunnels; however, despite these measures, complaints regarding noise and vibration continue to persist. Prior art literature

[0014] The following examples are detailed descriptions to aid in understanding the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Accordingly, inventions within the same scope that perform the same function as the present invention will also fall within the scope of the present invention.

[0015] The present invention relates to a noise-vibration reduction device (10), which is installed at the entrance (300) of a tunnel and reduces noise and vibration generated in the tunnel, such as an explosion sound.

[0016] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a noise-vibration reduction device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a noise-vibration reduction device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a partial cross-sectional perspective view of a noise-vibration reduction device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0017] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, a noise-vibration reduction device (10) (hereinafter referred to as the 'noise-vibration reduction device (10)') according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0018] The noise-vibration reduction device (10) includes an outer structure (100) and an inner structure (200).

[0019] The outer structure (100) is a structure formed in the shape of a tunnel installed at the entrance (300) of a tunnel shaft, and is formed to extend for a predetermined length. In addition, the outer structure (100) serves to primarily attenuate noise and vibration generated in the tunnel shaft. To maximize structural stability, the outer structure (100) is formed with a cross-section in the shape of a trapezoid or an arch, and both ends are firmly fixed to the ground to ensure the stability of the structure.

[0020] Additionally, the outer structure (100) is a tunnel-shaped structure formed such that the entrance (300) side of the tunnel shaft and the entrance (120) face each other, and can be formed by combining a lightweight membrane and an assembled steel structure. The outer structure (100) can be sealed by a lightweight membrane except for the entrance (330) side of the tunnel shaft and the entrance (120). At this time, the reason for applying a lightweight membrane and an assembled steel structure is to easily dismantle the noise-vibration reduction device (10) after the tunnel excavation work is completed.

[0021] In addition, the outer structure (100) is structurally designed to withstand strong impacts generated during blasting operations, maintains the structural stability of the tunnel, and can perform the role of primarily reducing noise generated during blasting operations.

[0022] Referring to FIG. 3, the outer structure (100) may include at least one protrusion (110) that protrudes outward to further expand the volume. Additionally, the protrusion (110) is formed to communicate with the outer structure (100) and may be positioned on the periphery of the outer structure (100).

[0023] The protrusion (110) extends outward from the edge of the open area, and its tip can be formed to be closed. Accordingly, the internal volume of the cylindrical outer structure (100) can be expanded by the volume of the protrusion (110) in the part where the protrusion (110) is formed. In this way, as the protrusion (110) is formed, the air expanded by the explosion inside the tunnel is secondarily expanded by the protrusion (110), and the pressure gradient of the pressure wave can be reduced locally. In other words, the intensity and gradient of the shock wave can be reduced as the explosion shock wave propagating axially from the entrance (300) of the tunnel passes through the expanded space of the protrusion (110) connected to the outer structure (100). Therefore, a superior tunnel excavation blasting noise reduction effect can be expected at the exit of the tunnel.

[0024] Meanwhile, in FIG. 1, only one protrusion (110) is shown attached, but this is exemplary, and multiple protrusions (110) may be attached along the perimeter of the outer structure (100).

[0025] The inner structure (200) is positioned at a predetermined distance from the inner surface of the outer structure (100) and can be extended for a predetermined length parallel to the outer structure (100). In particular, referring to FIG. 3, the inner structure (200) can be formed in a shape that surrounds the entrance (300) of the tunnel. At this time, one side of the inner structure (200) may have a size or shape corresponding to the entrance (300) of the tunnel where the noise-vibration reduction device (10) is to be installed.

[0026] Additionally, the outer structure (100) is formed in a shape that surrounds the inner structure (200), but a space may be formed between the outer structure (100) and the inner structure (200). At this time, the distance between the outer structure (100) and the inner structure (200) may be maintained at a predetermined distance.

[0027] The inner structure (200) may have a shape in which a plurality of through holes (202) are perforated along the perimeter. Accordingly, as the loud shock wave generated during blasting operations is transmitted through the through holes (202) to the space between the inner structure (200) and the outer structure (100) with the space expanded, it serves to effectively dissipate and disperse the energy of noise and vibration, thereby effectively attenuating it. For example, the plurality of through holes (202) may be perforated in a circular shape as shown in FIG. 2, but the shape of the through holes (202) is not limited to this and may be formed in a polygonal shape.

[0028] Additionally, the inner structure (200) may have through holes (202) of the same size or shape arranged therein. However, it is not limited to this, and the through holes (202) of the inner structure (200) may be arranged irregularly and in irregular shapes.

[0029] The noise-vibration reduction device (10) may further include at least one perforated partition wall (220) that is positioned perpendicular to the longitudinal direction in which the inner structure (200) extends along the periphery surface of the inner structure (200) and has a plurality of through holes (222) perforated along the surface. Accordingly, as the loud shock wave passes through the through holes (222) of the perforated partition wall (220), the intensity of the shock wave is weakened, thereby serving to dissipate and attenuate the energy of the noise and vibration generated inside.

[0030] In detail, the perforated partition (220) may have an area corresponding to the gap between the outer structure (100) and the inner structure (200). In other words, the perforated partition (220) may be formed so that its perimeter is in close contact with the inner surface of the outer structure (100), the outer surface of the inner structure (200), and the bottom surface.

[0031] The perforated bulkhead (220) can shield part of the space between the inner structure (200) and the outer structure (100) and leave part of it open. The perforated bulkhead (220) can induce path disturbance and partial reflection of shock waves that are compressed in the tunnel shaft, discharged through the entrance (300), and then radiated toward the outer structure (110) through the perforations (202) of the inner structure (200), thereby increasing interference phenomena and causing the pressure gradient of the shock wave to be locally attenuated again. At this time, the perforations (222) formed in the perforated bulkhead (220) can be arranged regularly or irregularly. For example, the perforations (202) can be designed according to the frequency of noise and vibration, and can effectively disperse a specific range of noise frequencies depending on their size.

[0032] These perforated partitions (220) may be arranged in multiple numbers along the length direction of the inner structure (200), and the spacing between the perforated partitions (220) may be provided in various forms during the design process.

[0033] The foregoing description of the present invention is for illustrative purposes only, and those skilled in the art will understand that other specific forms can be easily modified without altering the technical concept or essential features of the present invention. Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not restrictive. For example, each component described as a single unit may be implemented in a distributed manner, and components described as distributed may likewise be implemented in a combined form.

[0034] The scope of the present invention is defined by the claims set forth below rather than by the detailed description above, and all modifications or variations derived from the meaning and scope of the claims and the concept of equivalents thereof should be interpreted as being included within the scope of the present invention.
