[0002] With the recent increase in research in the fields of life science and medical science, the role and importance of animal testing are growing significantly, and accordingly, various animal testing facilities are being developed in research institutes, hospitals, and companies.
[0003] Animal testing is a method that utilizes experimental animals, such as monkeys, guinea pigs, and mice (hereinafter collectively referred to as "subjects"), to study surgical procedures or the physiological and pharmacological characteristics of animal nerve cells. In particular, as primates are phylogenetically the closest relatives to humans, animal testing using primates is conducted in a wide range of ways, from simple blood tests to experiments involving the direct administration of drugs into the brain.
[0004] In general, a stereotactic device is used to immobilize the subject in animal experiments. In the case of brain region experiments, drilling is performed on the subject's skull, and drugs are injected into the cisterna magna or cerebrospinal fluid is collected. At this time, the stereotactic device with the subject placed on it is inserted into an MRI machine to obtain an image of the subject's skull and identify the drilling location or needle injection location.
[0005] However, conventional positioning devices often have components that support the object fixed in their respective positions, which makes it impossible to modify the position of the components to suit the task being performed and presents a problem of being difficult to apply to various objects. Prior art literature
[65535] Republic of Korea Published Patent Application No. 10-2018-0135254 (Published Dec. 20, 2018) Republic of Korea Published Patent Application No. 10-2007-0090294 (Published Sep. 6, 2007) The problem to be solved
[0006] The present invention aims to provide a stereotactic device capable of partial adjustment for brain experiments on primates, so as to be adapted to the type of task performed and the skull characteristics of various experimental subjects.
[0007] In particular, the invention provides a stereotactic device that can be used in conjunction with external devices such as MRI imaging devices and stereotactic injection devices, and is utilized for cerebrospinal fluid sampling or drug injection into the cerebrospinal fluid of primates. means of solving the problem
[0008] The present invention provides a positioning device comprising a base and a first support assembly disposed on the base and accommodating the body of an object, wherein the first support assembly comprises a sliding rail mounted on the base and extending in one direction, a first frame accommodating the body of the object and having one end rotatably connected to the sliding rail, and a second frame having one end rotatably connected to the base and the other end rotatably connected to the first frame.
[0009] Additionally, the base may comprise a first plate, a second plate disposed on the upper portion of the first plate and having an adjustment slit, and a fixing member inserted into the adjustment slit and adjusting the position of the second plate relative to the first plate.
[0010] Additionally, the first support assembly may further comprise a seat positioned adjacent to the first frame, with one end rotatably connected to the sliding rail and slidingly.
[0011] In addition, the first support assembly may further include a strap disposed on the first frame.
[0012] Additionally, it includes a second support assembly disposed on the base and accommodating the head of the object, wherein the second support assembly may comprise a support block extending upward from the base, a pair of headgear mounted on the support block and positioned in the width direction, and a mask unit disposed between the pair of headgear.
[0013] Additionally, the mask unit may comprise a stand extending upward from the base, an arm unit connected to the stand and having at least one arm, a support plate rotatably installed on the arm unit, and a mask mounted on the support plate. Effects of the invention
[0014] The stereotactic device according to an embodiment of the present invention accommodates an animal test subject and can fix the head and body of the subject, and in particular is configured to allow adjustment of the head and neck angle of the subject, thereby facilitating operations such as drilling the skull or inserting a needle required for brain research and experiments.

[0030] The base (100) can provide a space in which the first support assembly (200), the second support assembly (300), and the guide part (400) can be installed.
[0031] In one embodiment, the base portion (100) may have a roughly plate shape, but may have a shape in which a plurality of plates are assembled as shown in the drawing.
[0032] In another embodiment, the base portion (100) may have a first support assembly (200), a second support assembly (300), and a guide portion (400) arranged on a single plate. For convenience of explanation, the following description will focus on an embodiment in which the base (100) has a plurality of plates. The base (100) may be provided with a first plate (110) and a second plate (120).
[0033] The first plate (110) and the second plate (120) are detachably connected and can be separated and moved apart from each other.
[0034] According to one embodiment, the first support assembly (200) may be placed on the second plate (120). The first support assembly (200) may be placed on the second plate (120), and the second support assembly (300) may be placed on the first plate (110).
[0035] The user can separate the second plate (120), on which the first support assembly (200) is placed, from the first plate (110) and move it. The separated first support assembly (200) and second plate (120) can be used independently and can be installed and used on another plate or device.
[0036] The first support assembly (200) can accommodate the body of the object. The second support assembly (300) is positioned adjacent to the first support assembly (200) and can accommodate the head of the object.
[0037] The first support assembly (200) and the second support assembly (200) may be provided to be partially adjustable according to the size and shape of the object. By adjusting the first support assembly (200) and the second support assembly (300), the orientation device (1) can accommodate various objects.
[0038] In an optional embodiment, the positioning device (1) may have a guide portion (400). The guide portion (400) may be positioned adjacent to the first support assembly (200) and the second support assembly (300).
[0039] The guide section (400) may be equipped with a different type of device, and the guide section (400) may guide the path along which the different type of device moves. For example, the different type of device may be a drilling device or a brain stereotactic injection device.
[0040] The guide section (400) can be provided to facilitate access to the object accommodated in the first support assembly (200) and the second support assembly (300) by the heterogeneous device.
[0041] As described above, the positioning device (1) can improve the accuracy and efficiency of animal experiments by adjusting the first support assembly (200), the second support assembly (300), and the guide part (400).
[0042] In one embodiment, the stereotactic device (1) can be used in compatibility with MRI imaging equipment.
[0043] The stereotactic device (1) can be introduced into the interior of the MRI imaging equipment and configured to be suitable for obtaining imaging images of the subject. Specifically, the experimenter can identify the drilling location or the needle injection location in the skull of the subject through the MRI imaging images, and minimize damage to surrounding tissues in the area.
[0044] FIG. 2 is a drawing illustrating the first support assembly of FIG. 1. In FIG. 2, only the first support assembly (200) placed on the base (100) is shown separately in order to clearly explain each part of the first support assembly (200).
[0045] Referring to FIG. 2, a first support assembly (200) may be placed on top of a base (100). The base (100) may be provided with a first plate (110) and a second plate (120) placed on top of it.
[0046] The second plate (120) may include an adjustment slit (121) on one side. The adjustment slits (121) are arranged in pairs on both sides of the second plate (120) and may have a preset length. The adjustment slits (121) may be formed in a shape that extends along the X-axis direction.
[0047] The second plate (120) can be assembled to the first plate (110) by means of a fixing member (122). The fixing member (122) is rotatably inserted into an adjustment slit (121) and can be connected to the first plate (110). At this time, the second plate (120) can be linearly moved in the X-axis direction by the extension length of the adjustment slit (121) so that its position on the first plate (110) can be adjusted. Depending on the position adjustment of the second plate (120), the position of the first support assembly (200) placed on the second plate (120) can be adjusted.
[0048] The first support assembly (200) is placed on the base (100) and can accommodate the body of the object. In one embodiment, the first support assembly (200) may include a first frame (210), a second prime (220), a sliding rail (230), a seat (240), and a strap (250).
[0049] The first frame (210) is positioned on the second plate (120), and one end can be rotatably and slidably connected to the sliding rail (230). Since the first frame (210) is rotatably and slidably connected to the rail (230), the position of the first frame (210) in the X-axis direction can be adjusted, and the angle of inclination of the first frame (210) can be adjusted.
[0050] The first frame (210) may be provided to accommodate the body of the object. Specifically, the first frame (210) may allow the object to be supported in a prone position. The first frame (210) may be any shape that supports the body of the object, but it is illustrated in the drawing as having a body shape that extends in the X-axis direction.
[0051] In one embodiment, the first frame (210) may be provided with an upper body (211) and a lower body (212). The upper body (211) may support the upper part of the body of the object, and the lower body (212) may support the lower part of the body of the object. For example, the upper body (211) may be in contact with the head, neck, and arm portions of the object, and the lower body (212) may be in contact with the abdomen portion of the object.
[0052] The end of the lower body (212) can be connected to the sliding rail (230) by the first sliding member (213). The end of the lower body (212) is inserted into a pair of opposing sliding rails (230), and the first sliding member (213) extends in the Y-axis direction and can be inserted into the guide hole of the sliding rail (230).
[0053] The first sliding member (213) rotates along the sliding rail (230), so that one end of the first frame (210) can slide in the X-axis direction. Thus, the position of the first frame (210) in the X-axis direction is adjusted, and at the same time, the angle of inclination of the first frame (210) can be adjusted.
[0054] The second frame (220) may be rotatably positioned between the first frame (210) and the second plate (120). One end of the second frame (220) may be rotatably connected to the second plate (120), and the other end may be rotatably connected to the first frame (210).
[0055] The second plate (120) may further have an assembly fastening portion (123) protruding from the upper surface. One end of the second frame (220) may be rotatably connected to the assembly fastening portion (123) by a first hinge (221). The first hinge (221) can adjust the angle between the second plate (120) and the second frame (220).
[0056] The other end of the second frame (220) can be rotatably connected to the first frame (210) by a second hinge (222). The second hinge (222) can adjust the angle between the first frame (210) and the second frame (220).
[0057] Thus, the first support assembly (200) can adjust the angle of the first frame (210) relative to the base (100) by means of the first hinge (221), the second hinge (222), and the first sliding member (213).
[0058] The sliding rail (230) is mounted on the base (100) and can be extended in one direction. The sliding rail (230) can be placed on the second plate (120).
[0059] The sliding rails (230) are provided in pairs and can be arranged to face each other. The sliding rails (230) have guide holes, and a first sliding member (213) and a second sliding member (243) can be inserted into the guide holes.
[0060] In an optional embodiment, the first sliding member (213) and the second sliding member (243) may be fixed in position on the sliding rail (230) by a position fixing member (not shown). The position fixing member (not shown) may be a member that forms friction, such as rubber or silicone, or may be provided with a screw, bolt, etc., to fix the position of the first sliding member (213) and the second sliding member (243).
[0061] One end of the seat (240) is rotatably and slidably connected to the sliding rail (230) and can be positioned adjacent to the first frame (210). The seat (240) can be positioned at the rear of the first frame (210).
[0062] The seat (240) may be provided to support a part of the body of the object when the body of the object is received in the first frame (210). The seat (240) may support the body of the object together with the first frame (210) to fix the posture of the object.
[0063] In one embodiment, the sheet (240) may be provided with a support portion (241) and a leg portion (242).
[0064] The support portion (241) can support the lower part of the body of the object. Specifically, the support portion (241) can support the buttocks of the object to fix the object.
[0065] The leg portion (242) protrudes from the bottom surface of the support portion (241) and can be positioned so that its end is inserted into a pair of sliding rails (230). A second sliding member (243) is installed at the end of the leg portion (242), and the second sliding member (243) can be inserted into a guide hole of a pair of sliding rails (230).
[0066] The second sliding member (243) rotates along the sliding rail (230), so that one end of the seat (240) can slide in the X-axis direction.
[0067] A strap (250) may be positioned on one side of the first frame (210). At least one strap (250) may be provided to secure an object to the first frame (210).
[0068] In one embodiment, a pair of straps (250) may be provided and installed on both sides of the first frame (210), and the pair of straps (250) may wrap around and connect the body of the object.
[0069] In one embodiment, the straps (250) may be provided in multiple numbers and installed separately in multiple areas of the first frame (210). For example, a first strap (251) may be placed on the upper body (211) of the first frame (210), and a second strap (252) may be placed on the lower body (212). The first strap (251) may secure the arm portion of the object, and the second strap (252) may secure the chest or abdomen of the object.
[0070] FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of part III of FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the positioning device of FIG. 1.
[0071] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 4, each part of the second support assembly (300) and the guide part (400) will be clearly explained. For this purpose, the first support assembly (200) is omitted in FIGS. 3.

[0109] The guide installation part (114) is provided with a guide groove that extends for a predetermined length along the X-axis in correspondence with the lower shape of the guide frame (410), and can define an area where the guide part (400) can be installed. The guide part (400) can be installed by screw-coupling the guide frame (410) into the guide installation part (114).
[0110] FIG. 5 is a drawing for explaining a method of adjusting the angle of the first support assembly of FIG. 2, and FIG. 6 is a photograph showing the usage state of the positioning device of FIG. 1.
[0111] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, we intend to explain the change in the fixed position of the object according to the adjustment of the first support assembly (200).
[0112] In FIG. 5, with respect to the first plate (110), (A) represents the case where the angle of the first frame (210) is not adjusted, (B) represents the case where the angle of the first frame (210) is adjusted to become smaller, and (C) represents the case where the angle of the first frame (210) is adjusted to become larger.
[0113] Comparing (A) and (B) of FIG. 5, the second frame (220) rotates counterclockwise around the first hinge (221). At this time, since one end of the first frame (210) is connected to the sliding rail (230) by the first sliding member (213), the angle between the first frame (210) and the second frame (220) widens, and the first sliding member (213) moves away from the assembly fastening part (123).
[0114] Thus, the angle of the first frame (210) with respect to the first plate (110) can be reduced, and the head of the object placed on the first frame (210) can move downward.
[0115] Comparing (A) and (C) of FIG. 5, the second frame (220) rotates clockwise around the first hinge (221). At this time, since one end of the first frame (210) is connected to the sliding rail (230) by the first sliding member (213), the angle between the first frame (210) and the second frame (220) becomes smaller, and the first sliding member (213) moves in a direction closer to the assembly fastening part (123).
[0116] Thus, the angle of the first frame (210) with respect to the first plate (110) can be increased, and the head of the object seated on the first frame (210) can move upward.
[0117] Meanwhile, the seat (240) is used by adjusting the angle and position of the support part (241) and the leg part (242) according to the size or posture of the object seated on the first frame (210), although the position of the second sliding member (243) moves together with the first sliding member (213) to change.
[0118] Referring to FIG. 6, the monkey object may have its body supported by the first support assembly (200) and its head supported by the second support assembly (300).
[0119] The positioning device (1) can adjust the position or inclination of the first support assembly (200) according to the size and posture of the object, so that the object can maintain a stable posture. In addition, the positioning device (1) can adjust the position of the second support assembly (300) or the position of the head gear, etc., according to the size and posture of the object, so that the object can maintain a stable posture.
[0120] Since the stereotactic device (1) can stably fix the position of the object and maintain its posture, the stereotactic device (1) can be introduced into the interior of the MRI imaging equipment and is suitablely equipped to obtain an image of the object.
[0121] Specifically, the experimenter can identify the drilling location or the needle injection location in the skull of the subject through the MRI imaging, and minimize damage to surrounding tissues in that area.
[0122] A stereotactic device according to an embodiment of the present invention can accommodate an animal subject for brain research and experimentation and can fix the head and body of the subject.
[0123] In addition, the orientation device according to one embodiment of the present invention can be applied to various objects by adjusting the first support assembly (200) and the second support assembly (300) in consideration of the size, age, and species of the object.
[0124] In addition, the stereotactic device according to one embodiment of the present invention can be used while confirming the target area through MRI imaging equipment during brain experiments, thereby minimizing damage to surrounding tissues.
[0125] In addition, when the stereotactic device according to one embodiment of the present invention is used separately with only the first support assembly (200) that accommodates the body of the object, it is possible to use it with an MRI imaging device equipped with a small-sized coil, and thereby obtain a higher resolution imaging image.
[0126] The present invention has been described with reference to an embodiment illustrated in the accompanying drawings, but this is merely illustrative, and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and equivalent alternative embodiments are possible therefrom. Accordingly, the true scope of protection of the present invention should be determined only by the appended claims. Explanation of the symbols
