Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a cargo elevator used for transporting objects in a vertical direction, for example, in pharmaceutical companies, chemical plants, or food plants. More specifically, it relates to a mechanical cargo elevator formed using a lifting chain and sprockets rather than a hydraulic type using hydraulic fluid, thereby preventing safety and hygiene problems caused by hydraulic fluid in advance. Additionally, a chain breakage detection module is installed in front of the lower sprocket of the main body frame to detect whether the lifting chain is cut through contact impact and to send a control signal for emergency measures. Furthermore, an emergency stop mechanism is installed in the lifting car fastening block to stop the lifting car by increasing frictional force against the vertical guide rail in the event of abnormal descent of the lifting car due to the cutting of the lifting chain, thereby preventing the risk of the lifting car falling in advance. Background Technology

[0002] For example, cargo elevators used in pharmaceutical companies, chemical plants, or food factories are primarily hydraulic elevators that use operating fluid.

[0003] As an example of such a hydraulic elevator, Korean Patent Registration No. 10-1550753 (published September 18, 2015) discloses an elevator for preventing bending of a cylinder, characterized by comprising: a cylinder in which an internal piston moves up and down by hydraulic pressure; a elevator car coupled to the cylinder for boarding people or loading cargo; an elevator car guide rail formed parallel to each other by a predetermined distance to guide the movement of the elevator car; a cylinder rail formed on the frame of the elevator car; and a cylinder guide shoe formed horizontally perpendicular to the cylinder, with both ends coupled to the cylinder rail.

[0004] However, in the case of hydraulic elevators, bacteria and microorganisms can inhabit the operating fluid, and dust and other contaminants may adhere to it, potentially causing critical safety and hygiene issues in pharmaceutical companies, chemical plants, or food factories. In particular, of a certain size (0.5 m 2 For freight elevators with more than ) cars, hydraulic systems must be used unconditionally and separate certification must be obtained.

[0005] On the other hand, while hydraulic elevators offer advantages in terms of power and safety, they have disadvantages such as hydraulic fluid leakage and the need for separate certification. For example, if the elevator chain breaks, a mechanical elevator will instantly plummet to the floor due to the load, whereas a hydraulic elevator allows sufficient time for the hydraulic fluid to drain; thus, even if the chain breaks, only the surrounding area becomes contaminated by the fluid, and the elevator does not fall instantly to the floor.

[0006] Therefore, as a measure to increase the size of elevator cars without certification, most pharmaceutical companies, chemical plants, or food factories are seeing an increasing demand for mechanical elevators that do not use hydraulic fluid and can satisfy the general requirements of hydraulic elevators, particularly safety conditions regarding the risk of falling. [0027] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, this description is intended to be detailed enough for a person skilled in the art to easily practice the invention, and does not imply that the technical scope and concept of the present invention are limited thereby.

[0029] A mechanical cargo elevator (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention serves to transport objects in a vertical direction in pharmaceutical companies, chemical plants, or food plants, and as shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, it comprises a main body frame (10) in which a vertical guide rail (14) extends vertically on the front side and a lower sprocket (16) and an upper sprocket (17) are installed spaced apart vertically on the lower and upper sides, a lifting chain (20) installed between the lower sprocket (16) and the upper sprocket (17) of the main body frame (10) and a lifting car connecting block (21) connected to the front side, a lifting car (30) connected to the lifting car connecting block (21) of the lifting chain (20) and moves up and down along the vertical guide rail (14) when the lifting chain (20) is driven, and a lower sprocket (16) of the main body frame (10) installed on the lower side of the main body frame (10). It includes a chain drive motor (40) that rotates to raise and lower a lift car (30) coupled to a lift chain (20), a chain cut detection module (50) installed in front of the lower sprocket (16) of the main body frame (10) and detects whether the lift chain (20) is cut through contact impact of the lift chain (20) and transmits a control signal, and an emergency stop mechanism (60) installed on the lift car fastening block (21) and stops the lift car (30) by increasing frictional force against the vertical guide rail (14) when the lift car (30) descends abnormally due to the cut of the lift chain (20).

[0031] Here, the main body frame (10) forms the base frame of a mechanical cargo elevator (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention and corresponds to a mounting base for installing the elevator chain (20), elevator car (30), chain drive motor (40), chain cut detection module (50), and emergency stop mechanism (60) to be described later.

[0032] The main body frame (10) is formed such that the lower base plate (11) and the upper plate (12) are spaced apart by a plurality of vertical supports (13), and has a structure in which a vertical guide rail (14), which can be formed as an H-beam, is installed adjacently on the front side of the main body frame (10), that is, on the inner side of the vertical support (13) installed on the front side among the vertical supports (13).

[0033] In addition, the main body frame (10) may include a plurality of reinforcing members (15) that vertically connect the lower base plate (11) and the upper plate (12) or horizontally connect the vertical support members (13) to each other.

[0034] In addition, a lower sprocket (16) is installed to be rotatable on the lower side of the main body frame (10), and an upper sprocket (17) is installed to be rotatable on the upper side of the main body frame (10), but is installed spaced apart from the lower sprocket (16).

[0035] The lower sprocket (16) and the upper sprocket (17) correspond to a chain-mounted drive unit to which the lifting chain (20) described later is driven, and it is preferable that two of each be formed spaced apart so that a relatively heavy load can be divided and supported. In this case, the lifting chain (20) described later can be formed in two rows and connected to the lifting car connection block (21).

[0037] A lifting chain (20) is installed between the lower sprocket (16) and the upper sprocket (17) of the main body frame (10) described above. The lifting chain (20) is connected across the lower sprocket (16) and the upper sprocket (17) and rotates to lift the elevator car (30) described later. It is preferable that the chain be formed in two spaced rows to distribute and support the load.

[0038] An elevator car fastening block (21) for fastening and securing an elevator car (30), which will be described later, is coupled to the front side of the elevator chain (20). At this time, fastening members (22), which are fastened in contact with the rear surface of the elevator car (30), which will be described later, may be vertically arranged on both front sides of the elevator car fastening block (21). These fastening members (22) may be formed as H-beams.

[0039] In addition, a counterbalance (23) can be attached to the rear side of the lifting chain (20) so that the lifting chain (20) can operate while maintaining weight balance despite the total load of the lifting car (30).

[0041] An elevator car (30) is coupled to the elevator car connection block (21) of the aforementioned elevator chain (20). The elevator car (30) corresponds to the part where an actual carrier or object to be transported is boarded or loaded for vertical movement or vertical transport, and moves up and down along the vertical guide rail (14) of the main body frame (10) when the aforementioned elevator chain (20) is rotated.

[0042] Although the elevator car (30) is shown in the shape of a rectangular prism with the front and top surfaces open, it can also be formed in the structure of a conventional elevator car in which an entrance door is installed on the front of a square box so as to be openable and closable.

[0043] Additionally, on the rear side of the elevator car (30), a fastening plate (31) may be provided to correspond to the fastening plate (22), which is secured by being in contact with the front surface of the fastening plate (22) of the elevator car fastening block (21). The fastening plate (31) can be integrally formed on the rear side of the elevator car (30) by various methods such as welding.

[0045] A chain drive motor (40) is installed on the lower side of the aforementioned main body frame (10). The chain drive motor (40) serves to rotate the lower sprocket (16) of the main body frame (10) to raise and lower the elevator car (30) connected to the lifting chain (20), and can be formed as a conventional sprocket rotation drive motor.

[0046] In addition, it is preferable that the chain drive motor (40) be formed as a brake motor (electronic brake motor or clutch brake motor, etc.) that prevents the elevator car (30) from falling by forcing the motor to stop rotating in a stopped state, thereby stopping the elevator car (30) from moving and preventing the elevator car (30) from falling.

[0047] Additionally, although not shown, a proximity switch or the like may be installed on the upper and lower sides of the main body frame (10) to detect the proximity of the elevator car (30) and generate a control signal, thereby controlling the operation of the chain drive motor (40) so that the elevator car (30) can no longer be raised or lowered.

[0049] Additionally, a chain breakage detection module (50) is installed at the front of the lower sprocket (16) of the main body frame (10). The chain breakage detection module (50) detects whether the lifting chain (20) is cut through contact impact of the lifting chain (20) and transmits a control signal for subsequent safety measures.

[0050] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the chain cutting detection module (50) may include a horizontal bar (51) for chain impact that is horizontally arranged in front of the lower sprocket (16) of the main body frame (10) and moves in position upon contact impact of the lifting chain (20) due to cutting of the lifting chain (20), a limit switch (52) that is installed on one side in front of the horizontal bar (51) for chain impact and generates a control signal, and a limit switch driving bar (53) that is coupled to the horizontal bar (51) for chain impact and moves in position together with the horizontal bar (51) for chain impact to drive the limit switch (52).

[0051] Accordingly, when the lifting chain (20) is cut, the part of the lifting chain (20) surrounding the lower sprocket (16) is struck by the horizontal bar (51) for chain impact, and due to this impact, the limit switch driving bar (53) coupled to the horizontal bar (51) for chain impact moves forward as a whole, thereby driving the limit switch (52) and generating a control signal, and through the control signal of the limit switch (52), it is possible to detect that the lifting chain (20) has been cut.

[0052] When the lifting chain (20) is formed in two rows, it is preferable that the horizontal bar (51) for chain impact be formed so that the length is longer than the mutual spacing of the lifting chains (20), thereby allowing the cutting of one of the lifting chains (20) to be detected.

[0053] Additionally, the chain breakage detection module (50) may further include a position movement guide (54) having a guide hole (54a) formed therethrough to guide the positional movement of the chain impact horizontal bar (51) and the limit switch drive bar (53). At this time, it is preferable that the chain impact horizontal bar (51) and the limit switch drive bar (53) be elastically deflected by an elastic spring or the like so that they always move toward the lower sprocket (16).

[0055] An emergency stop mechanism (60) is installed in the aforementioned elevator car connection block (21). The emergency stop mechanism (60) is a type of fall prevention device that stops the elevator car (30) by increasing the frictional force against the vertical guide rail (14) when the elevator car (30) descends abnormally due to the cutting of the elevator chain (20).

[0056] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, this emergency stop mechanism (60) comprises a channel-type frame (61) installed on one side of the upper part of the elevator car connecting block (21) and facing the vertical guide rail (14), a braking block (62) provided within the channel-type frame (61) and having a braking groove (62a) that narrows toward the top, a braking arm (63) rotatably installed on the channel-type frame (61) or the braking block (62) and having a braking shoe (63a) at one end that rotates upward toward the braking groove (62a) to press the braking block (62) against the vertical guide rail (14), an elastic spring (64) provided at the other end of the braking arm (63) to elastically deflect the braking shoe (63a) upward, and one end coupled to the elevator chain (20) and the other end It may include a governor rope (65) that is coupled to one end of the braking arm (63) and is equipped with a braking shoe (63a), so that when one end of the braking arm (63) rotates downward and the elastic spring (64) extends, the traction force is applied, and when the elevator car (30) descends abnormally due to the cutting of the elevator chain (20), the traction force is released and the one end of the braking arm (63) equipped with the braking shoe (63a) rotates upward according to the elastic deflection of the elastic spring (64).

[0057] At this time, it is preferable that one side of the braking groove (62a) be formed as a vertical surface in which the vertical guide rail (14) can make face contact, and the other side of the braking groove (62a) be formed as an inclined surface that gradually approaches one side of the braking groove (62a) as it goes upward.

[0058] Additionally, the emergency stop mechanism (60) may further include a rope pulley (66) that is installed on the rear side of the elevator car connection block (21) and supports the arrangement of governor ropes (65).

[0059] In the event that the elevator car (30) begins to fall arbitrarily due to the cutting of the elevator chain (20), the traction force applied to the governor rope (65) is released as shown in FIG. 5, and one end of the braking arm (63) equipped with a braking shoe (63a) rotates upward according to the elastic deflection of the elastic spring (64). As a result, the braking shoe (63a) provided on one side of the braking arm (63) rotates upward toward the upper side of the braking groove (62a) of the braking block (62), which narrows toward the top, and the braking block (62) is pressed against the vertical guide rail (14), thereby causing the elevator car (30) to stop arbitrarily and prevent falling.

[0061] In the case of the mechanical cargo elevator (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention as described above, it is formed as a mechanical type using a lifting chain (20), a lower sprocket (16), and an upper sprocket (17), rather than a hydraulic type using hydraulic fluid. As a result, safety and hygiene problems such as microorganisms and bacteria breeding due to hydraulic fluid leaking from, for example, pharmaceutical companies, chemical plants, or food plants, or dust adhering to the hydraulic fluid, can be prevented in advance.

[0062] In addition, in the case of a mechanical cargo elevator (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention, a chain cutting detection module (50) that detects whether the elevator chain (20) is cut through contact impact of the elevator chain (20) and transmits a control signal for emergency measures is installed in front of the lower sprocket (16) of the main body frame (10), and an emergency stop mechanism (60) that stops the elevator car (30) by increasing frictional force against the vertical guide rail (14) when the elevator car (30) descends abnormally is installed in the elevator car fastening block (21), thereby preventing the risk of the elevator car (30) falling in advance and simultaneously satisfying the safety conditions required for the elevator.

[0064] Although the embodiments described above are illustrative, it is obvious to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be embodied in various other forms without departing from the spirit and scope thereof. Accordingly, the embodiments described above should be regarded as illustrative rather than restrictive, and all embodiments within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents shall be deemed to be included within the scope of the present invention.
