Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the maintenance and management of information and communication facilities (ICT), and more specifically, to an ICT facility maintenance management system capable of digital handover that integrates and manages life-cycle data from the introduction to disposal of facilities by applying QR codes based on a standard classification system to disaster safety-related ICT facilities, and automatically inherits the history information and business context of individual facilities when the facility manager changes. Background Technology
[0003] In modern society, the importance of disaster safety information and communication facilities (rain gauges, water level gauges, CCTVs, early warning broadcasting equipment, etc.) for preventing natural disasters is being emphasized. However, existing management methods relied on experience-based judgments, lacking objective, evidence-based risk assessments. Consequently, uniform inspections were conducted without considering the importance of the facilities or environmental factors, leading to limitations in preventing budget waste and secondary damage caused by equipment failure.
[0004] Furthermore, there was a problem in that management methods varied by local government and person in charge, and site location information (PIN) and panoramic photos were managed in a fragmented manner, making it difficult to intuitively grasp the site. In addition, integrated management of these facilities is extremely difficult because they are geographically dispersed, installed in poor environments, and consist of a mix of heterogeneous equipment.
[0005] In particular, conventional equipment management methods have the following problems. First, management ledgers and inspection logs are maintained in the form of handwritten documents or Excel files, making it difficult to guarantee data integrity and impossible to monitor the status in real time. Since the failure history and parts replacement cycles of individual equipment are not systematically managed, reliance is placed on reactive measures rather than preventive maintenance. Second, when personnel changes occur due to frequent transfers within public institutions or management companies, specific details regarding equipment or operational know-how held by the predecessor are not properly transferred to the successor. Existing handover procedures are limited to merely transmitting asset lists or document files, resulting in a disruption of the continuity of maintenance work during the actual operation phase. Third, sensors installed outdoors exhibit a drift phenomenon where measurement values gradually change over time; however, existing systems only monitor whether a simple threshold is exceeded, failing to detect a decline in data reliability.
[0006] Accordingly, there is a growing need for an intelligent platform that not only digitizes and tracks equipment lifecycle data but also automatically transfers it, including business context, when the management entity changes. Prior art literature
[0008] Prior Art: Republic of Korea Patent No. 10-2067540 (Registered Jan. 10, 2020) The problem to be solved
[0009] The present invention has been devised to solve the aforementioned problems,
[0010] The present invention aims to provide a system that ensures data continuity by automating the identification and history management of equipment through QR codes based on a standard classification system.
[0011] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a digital handover method that packages work context information, such as the predecessor's authority over facilities, pending tasks, and notes on special matters, and transfers it to the successor in bulk when the manager changes.
[0012] Furthermore, the present invention aims to utilize AI technology to detect abnormal signs and drift in sensor data in advance and to provide situation-specific customized technical support guides, thereby supporting even non-experts to perform maintenance efficiently.
[0013] In addition, the present invention aims to build an ERP-based maintenance platform that integrates facility registration, schedule, history, and documents into a single system based on standardized data and QR-based facility information, and to visually integrate and manage pin information on a map and installation views and maintenance history images by utilizing geo-tagging technology. means of solving the problem
[0015] The QR code-based lifecycle-following information and communication facility maintenance management system of the present invention for achieving the above objective is,
[0016] It includes: a plurality of information and communication facilities attached with QR codes containing unique identification information (Asset ID) generated according to a standard classification system; a central management server that stores and manages attribute information and maintenance history data throughout the lifecycle of the information and communication facilities; and a portable terminal that scans the QR code to obtain identification information and inputs inspection and maintenance data performed on-site to transmit to the central management server.
[0017] The central management server comprises: an identification information generation module that generates unique identification information by mapping attribute information, including the type, function, and installation environment of the information and communication equipment, to a standard classification system of a hierarchical structure; a history tracking database that stores the history of installation, operation, inspection, failure, maintenance, and replacement of the information and communication equipment in a chronological order linked to the unique identification information; a digital handover management module that, upon the occurrence of a change event of the maintenance manager, generates a handover data package including the management authority of the information and communication equipment mapped to the predecessor's account, details of pending maintenance requests, configured notification conditions, and memos regarding specific details for each piece of equipment written by the predecessor, and transfers it to the successor's account; and an intelligent technical support module that analyzes collected sensor data using a machine learning algorithm to detect abnormal signs and calculate correction values.
[0018] Preferably, the present invention further includes a risk-based management module that calculates a risk level for each piece of equipment by comprehensively analyzing the installation location, purpose, failure history, years of service, and environmental conditions of the equipment, and provides guidance by automatically assigning maintenance priorities based thereon, and the central management server is characterized by operating as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that integrates equipment registration, inspection schedules, maintenance history, and document management. Effects of the invention
[0020] The present invention ensures data integrity and continuity by eliminating errors in manual records and enabling seamless tracking of full-cycle data from equipment introduction to disposal through the immediate retrieval and updating of history on-site via QR code scanning.
[0021] The present invention allows the experiential knowledge and unfinished tasks of the predecessor to be systematically inherited through a digital handover function even when the person in charge changes, thereby preventing gaps in disaster safety management and minimizing work gaps.
[0022] The present invention enables preventive maintenance by predicting and responding to equipment failures in advance through AI-based sensor drift detection and automatic correction functions, thereby increasing equipment operating rates and reducing maintenance costs. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0025] FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the overall architecture of a QR code-based lifecycle-following information and communication facility maintenance management system according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0026] The main maintenance management targets described in the embodiments of the present invention are primarily "ICT facilities," but are not limited to ICT facilities and may include general facilities.
[0027] The system of the present invention is largely composed of a central management server (100), a mobile terminal (200) used by field workers, and a web client (300) accessed by an administrator, and these are interconnected via a wireless network / Internet. Each ICT facility at the site has a uniquely generated QR code attached to it.
[0029] The above central management server (100) performs a core role of the system and internally includes the following modules.
[0030] - An asset ID generation module (110) that registers new ICT facilities according to a classification system that hierarchically classifies them into functions (sensors, loggers, communication, power), measurement items (water level, rainfall, displacement), and communication methods (LTE, LoRa, Satellite), generates a unique identifier (Asset ID) for each facility asset according to this classification system, converts it into a QR code, and issues it.
[0031] - A life cycle (LCM) database (120) that integrates and stores static data such as equipment specifications and dynamic data that occurs over time such as inspection, breakdown, repair, and replacement,
[0032] - An active technical support module (130) that analyzes collected sensor data in real time to detect abnormal signs and generates a customized technical support guide according to the type of failure,
[0033] - Includes a digital handover management module (140) that manages permissions and data mapping between user accounts and controls the process of packaging and transferring business context information when personnel changes occur.
[0034] The QR code of the present invention may be a 'Geo-Tagged QR Code,' which means a QR code attached to equipment that is managed in combination with the installation location information of the equipment, and in which the location information obtained when the QR code is scanned is compared and verified with the installation location information, thereby ensuring the reliability of the equipment's site presence and maintenance history.
[0035] In addition, the present invention further includes a risk-based management module (150) that calculates the risk level for each piece of equipment by comprehensively analyzing the installation location, purpose, failure history, years of service, and environmental conditions of the equipment, and provides guidance by automatically assigning maintenance priorities based thereon. The central management server can operate as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that performs integrated equipment registration, inspection schedules, maintenance history, and document management. By applying a Geo-Tagged QR Code, which is a QR code in which an asset identified by a QR code is logically combined with a specific geographical location (GPS coordinates) so that location information is verified, recorded, and utilized together upon QR scanning, the on-site nature of equipment inspections can be guaranteed and the reliability of maintenance history can be secured. Furthermore, it is possible to calculate risk levels and determine management priorities based on location information, thereby enabling the practical implementation of preventive maintenance of disaster safety equipment.
[0037] The mobile terminal (200) for field workers according to the present invention is generally a smartphone or tablet PC carried by a field worker and incorporates a GPS receiving module, a camera, and a QR code scanner. The mobile terminal can recognize the QR code of the equipment at the site through the QR scanner, obtain location information through GPS, and take photos of the site with the camera, thereby transmitting information about the equipment to a server. It is desirable to support an offline mode to prepare for environments where network connections are unstable, and to synchronize data upon network reconnection.
[0039] In addition, the field worker scans the equipment's QR code via the mobile terminal, immediately accesses the equipment's history information stored on the server, inputs inspection results, or uploads field photos. The terminal is designed to support an offline mode, enabling temporary data storage even in areas with poor communication coverage. The mobile terminal may be configured to allow the input of inspection data only when the error between the location information obtained upon scanning the QR code and the equipment's installation location information stored on the central management server is within a reference distance; if the error exceeds the reference distance, it may force the taking of field photos and allow data transmission only after re-verifying the QR code scan location using the location information and shooting time information included in the metadata of the captured photos.
[0041] The web client (300) of the present invention provides an intuitive user interface to the administrator and may include a dashboard (310) for visualizing the overall asset status, an individual asset status inquiry unit (320), a time-series-based timeline history inquiry unit (330), and a handover management unit (340).
[0043] FIG. 2 illustrates the structure of an encrypted asset ID and a QR security token in the system of the present invention. The asset ID is configured in the format [Org Code]-[Equipment Type]-[Serial No.]-[Hash Value], which includes an institution code, equipment type, serial number, and a hash value for preventing forgery. That is, the asset ID is combined with a security token using a blockchain to generate a finally signed QR code, thereby preventing duplication or forgery of the QR code and ensuring enhanced security.
[0045] Figure 3 is an Entity-Relationship (ER) diagram of the LCM history data model showing the structure of data managed in the lifecycle database of the present invention. The data model is largely normalized into Asset, Operation, and History entities. The Asset entity stores unique static information of the equipment, such as asset ID, classification code, manufacturer, model, and installation date, while the Operation entity includes operation-related information such as the installation location (latitude / longitude) of the asset, communication protocol, inspection cycle, management threshold, and current status, and has a 1:N relationship with the asset. The History entity stores all event information occurring during the asset's lifecycle, namely event ID, date and time, event type (installation / inspection / failure / maintenance / replacement), processing result, worker information, attachments, etc., in a time series, and forms a 1:N relationship with the asset to enable tracking of the entire history.
[0047] Figure 4 is an overall flowchart of the digital handover process performed when a manager changes. When Start (Manager Change) is triggered, a Handover Request (Predecessor) by the previous manager is initiated. In response to this request, the server performs Package Generation (Server: Assets, Issues, Permissions, etc.) by bundling the list of assets managed by the predecessor, open issues, system access rights, personalized settings, etc. The generated package is delivered to the successor manager after undergoing an Approval & Notification procedure by the superior. When the successor manager confirms this and accepts the takeover (Successor), the system applies the contents of the package to the successor's account, and the entire process is concluded through the Context Application & Completion stage, in which the business context is inherited.
[0049] Figure 5 is a sequence diagram of authority transfer security and verification to ensure security during this process. When the Predecessor makes a Transfer Request to the server, the server sends an Auth Request to the Auth System to verify the identity of the Predecessor. Upon Auth Success, the server performs Package Creation & Temp Save to create and temporarily save a handover package, and then sends a Transfer Notification to the Successor. When the Successor confirms this and sends an Acceptance & Auth Request to the server, the server again goes through the Auth Request and Auth Success process for the Successor via the Auth System. Once authentication by both parties is complete, the server finally transfers the authority and data, and completes the procedure by sending a Transfer Execution & Completion Notification to both the Predecessor and the Successor.
[0051] Figures 6 and 7 describe a functional technical support module that performs AI-based anomaly detection and technical support.
[0052] Among these, Fig. 6 is a flowchart of the anomaly detection and drift correction algorithms performed by the AI engine. First, sensor data is collected from field equipment. The AI engine performs Normal Pattern Learning using the collected data, and then proceeds through an anomaly detection step on the collected data to determine if there are any signs of anomalies deviating from a defined pattern. If an anomaly is detected (Yes), drift analysis (cross / historical) is performed by comparing the data with that of nearby similar equipment or by referencing historical data to determine whether it is a simple failure or drift caused by sensor aging. If the analysis result determines it to be drift, the data is corrected by performing Correction Value Calculation & Application. Finally, a result (alarm / corrected data), such as sending an alarm or saving the corrected data, is output, and the process returns to the data collection step. If no anomaly is detected (No), data collection continues after maintaining the normal status.
[0053] Furthermore, the above intelligent technical support module belongs to the same model or the same installation environment.
[0054] It can be configured to calculate the deviation between the average rate of change of sensor data collected from multiple facilities and the rate of change of sensor data of the target facility, and to determine sensor drift and calculate a correction value only when the deviation persists for a predetermined time or longer above a preset threshold.
[0056] Figure 7 is a sequence diagram for providing technical support guides to field workers in the event of a failure. When a field worker discovers a failure and detects an error in the field equipment, they perform a QR scan via a mobile terminal and transmit the data to the server. The server sends an appropriate guide request signal to the AI engine. The AI engine sends an analysis request (type / model) to a knowledge base built based on the type and model information of the equipment. The knowledge base searches for a solution manual or checklist suitable for the failure situation through internal data search and matching, extracts the manual / checklist, and transmits it to the AI engine. Based on the extracted information, the AI engine completes the generation of a step-by-step guide that the field worker can easily follow, and then transmits the guide to the server. Finally, the server displays the guide on the mobile terminal screen to support the worker in quickly recovering.
[0058] Furthermore, the system of the present invention goes beyond simple anomaly detection to establish a 'risk-based facility management priority system.' The intelligent technical support module (130) performs a risk assessment algorithm using variables such as the installation location of the facility (coastline, mountainous area, etc.), its purpose (importance), past failure history, and parts replacement cycle. For example, even for the same sensor, if it is installed on a coastline where there is a high risk of corrosion or has a high frequency of recent failures, a high risk score is calculated, the inspection cycle is shortened, or it is classified as a priority maintenance target and displayed on the dashboard. Through this, economical maintenance based on objective evidence, rather than experience-based judgment, is possible.
[0059] In addition, the mobile terminal (200) and the central management server (100) provide field maintenance technology based on 'geo-tagging'. Beyond simple GPS coordinate matching, the location of the equipment is visualized as a pin on a map, and when the pin is selected, a 'photo of the installation view' and 'image of the field maintenance history' of the equipment are configured to pop up. Through this, the manager can intuitively understand changes in the surrounding environment of the equipment without visiting the site, and can reduce travel time to the site.
[0061] FIG. 8 is a block diagram illustrating the concept of the system of the present invention interoperating with external platforms based on standards. The ICT maintenance platform of the present invention is equipped with a standard interoperability module and an open API internally. Through this, it connects with other systems, such as disaster management platforms or smart city platforms. At this time, data exchange is carried out based on a standard data model referencing international standards such as ISO 19650, thereby enabling seamless information provision and status sharing between platforms.
[0063] Figure 9 is an example of a dashboard GUI provided by a web client for administrators. Through the menu bar at the top of the screen, one can navigate to the Asset Management, History, Handover, and Settings menus. On the main dashboard screen, overall asset status statistics are provided in the form of a pie chart, and a Real-time Alerts List table showing the occurrence of failures and anomalies is displayed along with Time, Asset ID, Alert Type, and Severity. Additionally, it includes an AI Prognostics Results panel showing the Remaining Ultimate Life (RUL) prediction information of key facilities analyzed by an AI engine (e.g., 'Pump #3 RUL < 10%'), a Handover Status panel summarizing the number of ongoing or completed handovers, and a Map-based Asset Location map visualizing the location of assets based on GIS, allowing the administrator to intuitively grasp the situation.
[0065] The following describes the operation process of the present invention, which is configured as described above.
[0066] The present invention operates based on an 'encrypted asset ID' rather than a simple URL connection. The QR code has a structure of [Institution Code]-[Equipment Type]-[Serial Number]-[Hash Value] and prevents forgery, thereby providing QR code-based asset identification and traceability functions.
[0067] During the registration phase, when an operator installs new equipment and enters basic information (model name, manufacturing date, etc.) via a mobile app, the server immediately generates a QR code. The operator prints this code using a label printer, attaches it to the surface of the new equipment, and scans it with the app to complete asset registration along with GPS location data. This enables on-site digital registration.
[0068] Furthermore, during the operation phase, scanning a QR code during maintenance displays the equipment's past failure history, parts replacement cycles, and recent inspector comments in a timeline format. This helps operators gain a comprehensive understanding of the equipment's condition and prevents redundant inspections or unnecessary parts replacements.
[0070] Furthermore, the present invention may be equipped with AI-based anomaly detection and technical support functions. That is, the present invention provides advanced predictive maintenance functions by integrating data and technology.
[0071] The central management server can be equipped with a sensor drift correction function to analyze time-series data transmitted from rain gauges or water level gauges. By analyzing correlations with nearby stations or matching patterns with historical data from the same period, it detects drift phenomena where data gradually becomes biased even without physical failures. Upon detection, it presents specific correction values, such as "Correction needed: +0.5mm error expected."
[0073] In addition, the central management server (100) may be equipped with an intelligent guide function, and when a specific error code (e.g., Error 404) is detected in the log data of the equipment, the AI engine searches a pre-built knowledge base and automatically displays a manual page containing the cause and solution of the error on a mobile terminal. Furthermore, it supports repairs by providing interactive guidance on step-by-step measures, such as "Step 1: Power reset, Step 2: Check fuse."
[0075] A difficulty in managing safety facilities arises when the continuity of work is interrupted due to a change in the person in charge. Accordingly, the present invention enables digital handover to ensure work continuity. This function is the most unique aspect of the present invention and embodies the requirements for data.
[0077] - When the predecessor executes the handover mode, a handover package is created, and the system of the present invention bundles all asset lists assigned to the predecessor, currently ongoing pending issues, inspection reports for the past six months, and 'unstructured memos' left by equipment into a single package.
[0078] Furthermore, when the successor accepts this package, not only is the asset list transferred, but the 'Equipment of Interest' settings configured by the predecessor, as well as empirical knowledge such as "communication is unstable on this device when it rains," are also applied directly to the successor's account.
[0079] When a successor goes to the site and scans the QR code, a message such as "Transfer details from predecessor: Caution: Battery discharge" pops up at the top of the screen, ensuring that work know-how is transmitted without interruption even at the site, thereby maintaining the continuity of site management.
[0081] This system defines a standard data model for the integrated management of heterogeneous equipment, and is designed by referencing the IFC schema or OpenO&M standards. It may include asset attributes, operational attributes, and history attributes.
[0082] - Asset Attributes: Asset ID, Classification Code, Manufacturer, Model Name, Serial Number, Date of Introduction, Useful Life, Acquisition Cost.
[0083] - Operational Attributes: Installation location (latitude / longitude, address), management department, person in charge ID, communication protocol, inspection cycle, threshold setting value.
[0084] - History Attributes: Event ID, Date and Time, Type (Inspection / Failure / Action), Processing Result, Worker ID, Attachment.
[0085] This normalized data structure serves as the foundation for ensuring data compatibility during future big data analysis or integration with systems of other organizations.
[0087] The present invention comprises that the central management server further includes an intelligent technical support module,
[0088] The above intelligent technical support module (130) is,
[0089] Machine learning of sensor measurement data and status log data collected from the above equipment
[0090] It may include: an anomaly detection unit that detects abnormal signs deviating from the normal pattern range by analyzing with an algorithm; an automatic correction unit that determines whether bias or drift has occurred in sensor measurements and calculates a correction value by comparing and analyzing data of other equipment of the same region or model with data of said equipment; and a guide generation unit that extracts technical documents, inspection checklists, and step-by-step action guides matching the model and type of failure of said equipment and provides them to said portable terminal when said abnormal signs or drift are detected or a failure report is received from said portable terminal.
[0092] In addition, the digital handover management module (140) is,
[0093] By analyzing the past activity logs of the predecessor, facilities with a high maintenance frequency or a recent failure rate exceeding a threshold are automatically classified as 'priority management targets.' For facilities classified as priority management targets, a key handover report summarizing the history of major past failures and corrective actions is separately generated and provided in a pop-up format when the successor first scans the QR code of the relevant facility using the aforementioned portable terminal.
[0095] Furthermore, the portable terminal preferably includes a location-based validation unit that compares location information (GPS) obtained when scanning the QR code with the installation location information of the corresponding equipment registered in the central management server, and activates the input of inspection data only when the error is within a preset distance range; if the error exceeds the range, it is desirable to perform a process of forcing on-site photography and re-verifying the location by analyzing the metadata of the captured photos.
