[0018] The pulse discharge device (10) is one of the effective methods for treating microorganisms or contaminants in water through electrical methods, particularly using pulse discharge technology to improve water quality. The pulse discharge device (10) improves water quality by neutralizing or removing harmful bacteria or substances in water through pulse discharge.

[0019] The small watercraft is equipped with a navigation system capable of moving on the surface of lakes or rivers, and utilizes its hull design and motor system to move efficiently while operating a water quality improvement device.

[0020] Small surface vessels include a system that utilizes sensor technology to detect water surface conditions and automatically regulates water quality improvement operations; additionally, in addition to pulse discharge devices, various water quality improvement technologies such as chemical treatment and ultrasonic technology can be applied.

[0021] FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the control unit and pulse discharge device of a water quality improvement device using the pulse discharge device of the present invention.

[0022] Referring to FIG. 2, the water quality improvement device includes a pulse discharge device (10) that generates OH radicals by discharging a high-voltage pulse; and a control unit (5) that drives the pulse discharge device (10). The pulse discharge device (10) includes a gate driver (4) that outputs a switching signal; a switch (3) that is turned on and off by the switching signal; a high-voltage pulse transformer (2) driven by the switch (3); a rectifier circuit (1) that rectifies the high-voltage pulse; a capacitor bank (6) that filters the rectified high-voltage pulse; and a plug (7) that discharges the pulse.

[0023] The pulse discharge device (10) generates OH radicals by discharging high-voltage pulses and improves water quality through pulse discharge.

[0024] The control unit (5) is the main entity driving the pulse discharge device (10) and generates and manages switching signals.

[0025] The gate driver (4) generates a switching signal to operate the pulse discharge device (10), and the switch (3) is turned on and off by the switching signal, thereby controlling the high-voltage pulse transformer (2) through this operation.

[0026] The high-voltage pulse transformer (2) is driven by the switch (3) to generate a high-voltage pulse, and the rectifier circuit (1) rectifies the high-voltage pulse to maintain a stable voltage.

[0027] The capacitor bank (6) filters and stabilizes the rectified high-voltage pulse, and the plug (7) discharges the pulse to generate OH radicals.

[0028] The control unit (5) transmits a switching signal to the switch (3) through the gate driver (4), and the switch (3) operates the high-voltage pulse transformer (2) according to the switching signal, and the high-voltage pulse is stabilized through the rectifier circuit (1) and filtered through the capacitor bank (6). The pulse is discharged from the plug (7) to generate OH radicals, which are then utilized for water quality improvement.

[0029] The control unit (5) adds a sensor that detects the water quality condition and a system that adjusts the control accordingly, so that it can operate automatically under optimal conditions, and adds a function to adjust the mode and frequency of the pulse to respond to various water quality conditions, and promotes efficient operation through a system that can remotely control and monitor small surface vessels.

[0030] The control unit (5) monitors the water quality status through a sensor network and a data collection system, collects the relevant information, and calculates a first probability distribution and a second probability distribution based on the transmitted water quality data. Each probability distribution provides probabilistic information regarding specific water quality parameters (e.g., algal bloom level, water turbidity, oxygen concentration, etc.). The control unit (5) calculates the difference in area between the two calculated probability distributions, and the difference in area represents the difference in the water quality environment between the two probability distributions; a larger difference implies a greater change in the water quality status. Based on the calculated difference in area, the control unit (5) automatically adjusts the operating mode of the water quality improvement device. If the difference in area is large, more sensitive measures may be required, so the control unit (5) activates or adjusts specific functions of the water quality improvement device for more effective treatment. After operating in the controlled mode, the sensor continues to collect data, evaluates the difference between the actual water quality status and the target state, uses the evaluation information to adjust the control algorithm, and enables the system to operate more effectively. The control unit (5) dynamically adjusting the control mode by utilizing the difference in area of the calculated probability distributions allows for rapid response to changes in the water quality environment and provides optimal operating conditions.

[0031] The control unit (5) forms a window of water quality data using a queue or a stack, and the window contains data for a certain period of time. The control unit (5) calculates the difference in area between the first and second probability distributions in the formed window, stores the calculated difference in the queue or stack, and when new data comes in, removes the oldest data to store it in a circular manner. The control unit (5) calculates an accumulated value while iterating through the area differences stored in the queue or stack, and the accumulated value is used as an indicator representing the control performance of the current window. The control unit (5) checks whether the accumulated value exceeds a preset threshold, and if it exceeds the threshold, it determines that the current control algorithm is not achieving its goal. If the accumulated value exceeds the threshold, the control unit (5) detects that an error has occurred in the system, generates a notification regarding this, and the notification is delivered to the system operator so that additional measures can be taken. The control unit (5) monitors the performance of the control algorithm through the window-based area difference calculation and accumulated value using a queue and a stack, and if it exceeds the threshold, determines it as an error to maintain an efficient water quality improvement system.
