Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an electrical cable alignment device for a construction cable tray, and more specifically, to an electrical cable alignment device for a construction cable tray used to maintain a constant spacing of electrical cables laid by the cable tray and to bind them. Background Technology

[0002] Electric cables for supplying power to each floor of a building are laid using cable trays installed along the ceiling, floor, and walls. Electric cables laid using cable trays are particularly advantageous for maintenance, repair, and inspection.

[0003] A general cable tray is illustrated in the attached drawings, FIGS. 1 and 2. As illustrated therein, a rung (15) is installed to cross between the side rails (16) and (17) that constitute the cable tray (10). A support bar (14) is installed horizontally using nuts (13a) and (13b) that are connected to the bottom of hanger bolts (11) and (12) installed on the ceiling, and the cable tray (10) is supported using the support bar (14).

[0004] As shown in FIG. 2, an electric cable (18) is laid in a cable tray (10), and then the electric cable (18) is secured to a rung (15) using a binding band (19) so that the electric cable (18) cannot move. The binding band (19) must be secured diagonally at the intersection of the electric cable (18) and the rung (15), and as a result, a problem occurs in which the electric cable (18) bends in one direction due to the binding band (19).

[0005] In this way, when the binding band (19) is fixed in a diagonal direction, the binding band (19) cannot adhere to the insulation sheath of the electric cable (18), and the corners of the binding band (19) dig into the insulation sheath of the electric cable (18), and cracks occur in the insulation sheath of the electric cable (18). [0019] Embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the attached drawings, FIGS. 3 to 13.

[0020] The present invention comprises a pair of cable support channels (20) positioned parallel to each other with a gap between them, crossing between the side rails (11) of a cable tray (10); an upper catch (23) and a lower catch (24) formed vertically at the ends of the upper plate (21) and bottom plate (22) of the cable support channels (20) and formed to face each other; and an opening (25) formed between the upper catch (23) and the lower catch (24) and positioned between the cable support channels (20).

[0021] The cable support channel (20) can be formed by roller forming and bending using a steel plate of a certain thickness. Both ends of the cable support channel (20) can be welded to the inner surface of the side rail (11).

[0022] The upper catch (23) and the lower catch (24) are formed integrally with the cable support channel (20). The upper and lower width of the opening (25) is formed to be greater than the thickness of the cable binding slider (60) below.

[0023] As illustrated in FIGS. 9 to 13, the cable support channel (20) serves to support the electric cable (13). In particular, as illustrated in FIG. 10, when the electric cable (13) is bound by the cable binding band (12), the left and right sides of the electric cable (13) can be evenly supported by a pair of cable support channels (20) located on the left and right sides of the cable binding band (12).

[0024] The present invention includes a guide rail (30) installed at the lower corner where the bottom plate (22) of the cable support channel (20) meets the lower catch (24); and a V-groove (31) formed along the longitudinal direction on the upper surface of the guide rail (30).

[0025] The guide rail (30) can be molded using metal or plastic as the material. The V-groove (31) formed on the upper surface of the guide rail (30) can be formed with an inverted trapezoidal cross-section. The V-groove (31) can be formed to correspond to the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the rolling roller (62) below.

[0026] The guide rail (30) can be installed by adhering it to the corner of the bottom plate (22) and the lower catch (24) of the cable support channel (20).

[0027] The present invention includes a spacing angle (40) installed to be in close contact with the inner surface of the upper plate (21) of the cable support channel (20) and the vertical wall (26); and a rail stopper (41) extending horizontally from the bottom of the spacing angle (40) toward the bottom plate (22) and in close contact with the side of the guide rail (30).

[0028] The spacing angle (40) can be formed using a steel plate of a certain thickness. The spacing angle (40) can be attached to the inner surface of the cable support channel (20). The rail stopper (41) can be formed to be parallel to the lower catch (24), and a guide rail (30) is installed by inserting it between the lower catch (24) and the rail stopper (41).

[0029] The present invention includes alignment pins (43) formed in parallel with spacing along the length direction of a joining plate (42) formed on the upper part of a spacing angle (40); and unilaterally open slots (44) formed between the alignment pins (43).

[0030] As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, notch-shaped slots (44) can be punched at regular intervals in the bonding plate (42) so that alignment pins (43) are formed between the slots (44).

[0031] The alignment pin (43) serves to maintain a constant spacing of the spacers (50). The slot (44) can be formed with a width that matches the thickness of the spacers (50).

[0032] The present invention includes a spacer (50) that is welded by inserting a portion of its upper part into a slot (44) and maintains a constant distance from each other by means of an alignment pin (43); and an inverted V-groove (51) formed in a trapezoidal shape at the bottom of the spacer (50).

[0033] When the electric cable (13) is connected with the cable connecting band (12), the cable connecting slider (60) and the roller support (61) rise, and at this time, the following tooth-shaped projections (64) are inserted and caught between the spacers (50).

[0034] When the tooth-shaped projection (64) enters and gets caught between the spacers (50), the cable binding slider (60) is unable to move in the longitudinal direction of the cable support channel (20). The inverted V-groove (51) formed at the bottom center of the spacer (50) can be formed to correspond to the cross-sectional shape of the wedge portion (63) below.

[0035] After inserting the top of the spacer (50) into the slot (44) formed in the spacing angle (40), the spacer (50) can be joined to the spacing angle (40) by brazing welding or bonding.

[0036] The present invention includes a cable binding slider (60) having a semicircular cross section that crosses between cable support channels (20) through an opening (25) and is bound together with an electric cable (13) by a cable binding band (12); and a pair of roller support members (61) formed at both ends of the cable binding slider (60) and positioned between a spacer (50) and a guide rail (30).

[0037] The cable binding slider (60) and the roller support (61) can be integrally formed by precision casting or injection molding using metal or plastic as the material. As shown in FIG. 11, the cable binding slider (60) is formed with a semicircular cross-section that is convex toward the bottom.

[0038] When the cable binding slider (60) moves along the longitudinal direction of the cable support channel (20), the roller support (61) moves together with the cable binding slider (60) between the spacer (50) and the guide rail (30). When the cable binding slider (60) is raised by the cable binding band (12), the roller support (61) also rises together with the cable binding slider (60).

[0039] The present invention includes a rolling roller (62) that rolls along a regular V-groove (31) formed in a guide rail (30) and is installed at the bottom of a roller support (61); and a wedge portion (63) with a trapezoidal cross section that is formed at the top of a roller support (61), rises due to the binding force of a cable binding band (12), and is coupled in a wedge shape to an inverted V-groove (51).

[0040] An annular projection with a trapezoidal cross-section can be formed on the outer surface of the rolling roller (62). The outer edge of the annular projection formed on the rolling roller (62) can be formed to match the inner angle of the regular V-groove (31).

[0041] The wedge portion (63) is formed in a shape corresponding to the inverted V-groove (51) formed in the spacer (50). As shown in FIG. 5, a clevis groove (67) can be formed at the bottom of the roller support (61) so that a rolling roller (62) can enter and rotate freely.

[0042] A roller shaft (69) can be formed at the center of both ends of the rolling roller (62). The roller shafts (69) can be formed by protruding in opposite directions so that their centers coincide. As another example, the roller shaft (69) can be constructed as a separate metal pin and installed by pressing it into the center of the rolling roller (62).

[0043] An open hole (68) can be formed at the bottom of the roller support (61) to support the roller shaft (69) by inserting the roller shaft (69) in a direction perpendicular to the shaft. A V-shaped chamfer can be formed at the inner corner of the open hole (68) to facilitate the entry of the roller shaft (69).

[0044] The present invention includes a triangular cross-section tooth-shaped projection (64) formed on both inclined surfaces of a wedge portion (63) to enter and catch between spacers (50); and a moving lever (70) which is connected to a cable binding slider (60) at one end and bends the portion to be pulled out so as to bypass the lower part of the cable support channel (20) in the width direction and approach the outer surface of the cable support channel (20).

[0045] The tooth protrusions (64) can be formed at regular intervals along the length direction of the wedge portion (63). The spacing of the tooth protrusions (64) is formed at the same interval as the spacing of the spacers (50). The moving lever (70) can be formed by bending steel wire, for example, into a U-shape.

[0046] One end of the moving lever (70) can be installed by pressing it into a press-fit hole (60h) formed on the bottom surface of the cable binding slider (60). When pressing one end of the moving lever (70) into the press-fit hole (60h), if adhesive is injected into the press-fit hole (60h), the moving lever (70) can be prevented from coming off.

[0047] The present invention includes a T-shaped support (65) formed vertically toward the lower part of an electric cable (13) on the upper surface of a cable binding slider (60); and a handle knob (66) formed on the upper end of the T-shaped support (65) for holding and handling by hand when moving the cable binding slider (60).

[0048] The T-shaped support (65) can be formed vertically upward from the upper surface of the cable binding slider (60). A concave semicircular groove (not shown) can be formed on the front rear surface of the handle knob (66). This semicircular groove serves to prevent slipping when gripping the handle knob (66).

[0049] As shown in FIG. 10, when the cable binding slider (60) rises, the T-shaped support (65) rises together with the cable binding slider (60), and when the wedge portion (63) stops in close contact with the inverted V-groove (51), the upper surface of the T-shaped support (65) can be formed to form a gap with the lower part of the electric cable (13).

[0050] The assembly of the cable binding slider (60), roller support (61), rolling roller (62), moving lever (70), T-shaped support (65), and handle knob (66) is installed in advance on the inside of the cable support channel (20) before welding both ends of the cable support channel (20) to the side rail (11).

[0051] The operation according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the attached drawings.

[0052] After aligning the spacing between the electric cables (13) laid in the cable tray (10) evenly, hold the moving lever (70) with your hand and move it along the length of the cable support channel (20) to position it directly below the electric cables (13).

[0053] When force is transmitted from the moving lever (70) to the cable binding slider (60), the cable binding slider (60) and the roller support (61) move along the moving lever (70), and the rolling roller (62) installed on the roller support (61) rolls along the regular V-groove (31) formed in the guide rail (30). At this time, the cable binding slider (60) and the roller support (61) are guided in a straight line by the rolling roller (62) rolling along the regular V-groove (31) formed in the guide rail (30).

[0054] As shown in FIGS. 11 and 13, the moving lever (70) is positioned directly below the electric cable (13), and then the cable binding band (12) is inserted between the cable support channels (20) to bind the cable binding slider (60) and the electric cable (13) by wrapping the cable binding band (12) around them. Then, as shown in FIG. 10, the cable binding slider (60) and the roller support (61) rise.

[0055] At this time, the tooth projection (64) enters and gets caught between the spacers (50), and the wedge portion (63) adheres in a wedge shape to the inverted V-groove (51) formed in the spacers (50). Due to the tooth projection (64) that enters and gets caught between the spacers (50), the roller support (61) and the cable binding slider (60) are prevented from moving in the longitudinal direction of the cable support channel (20), and the electric cable (13) connected to the stationary cable binding slider (60) continuously maintains an aligned state.
