[0017] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the attached drawings. It should be noted that the attached drawings and the embodiments described with reference thereto are simplified and illustrative for the purpose of helping those skilled in the art to understand the present invention.
[0018] FIGS. 1 to 3 are drawings for explaining the features of a multi-purpose sofa according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a drawing showing a multi-purpose sofa according to an embodiment of the present invention separated into a recliner (110), a massage bed part (120), and an armrest (130b), FIG. 5 is a drawing for explaining a first usage mode in which the armrest is attached to the recliner while the massage bed part is excluded from the multi-purpose sofa according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 6 is a drawing for explaining a second usage mode in which the armrest is attached to the massage bed part while the massage bed part is attached to the recliner in the multi-purpose sofa according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 7 is a drawing for explaining the structure of the massage bed part (120b) in the multi-purpose sofa according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a drawing for explaining another form of the armrest in the multi-purpose sofa according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0019] First, referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a multi-purpose sofa according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a recliner (110), a massage bed section (120), and an armrest (130). Additionally, it may include a cushion (140) that is placed on the upper part of the massage bed section (120) or placed on the floor at the lower side of the massage bed section (120). Reference numeral 125 is a support section of the massage bed section (120), and may be provided in multiple numbers at a position that allows the massage bed section (120) to be stably maintained.
[0020] The recliner (110) includes a seat cushion (112a, 112b) and a backrest (111a, 111b). When in use, the angles of the backrest (111a, 111b) and the seat cushion (112a, 112b) can be adjusted. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, when the user leans toward the backrest (111a, 111b) and applies force backward as needed, the backrest (111a, 111b) tilts backward, and in conjunction with this, the seat cushion (112a, 112b) protrudes slightly forward and rises upward, allowing for angle adjustment.
[0021] The massage bed section (120) includes a main body (120b) equipped with a massage module (not shown) and a backrest (120a) of the massage bed section. The backrest (120a) of the massage bed section can also be configured to be adjustable so as to tilt backward, similar to the backrests (111a, 111b) of the recliner (110) described above. The massage bed section (120) is structured to be detachably coupled to the side of the recliner (110). That is, the massage bed part (120) can be separated from the entire multi-purpose sofa to be used in a configuration where the armrest (130b) is attached to the recliner (110) without the attachment of the massage bed part (120) (hereinafter referred to as the first usage mode and exemplified in FIG. 5), or configured to be used in a configuration where the massage bed part (120) is attached and set up (hereinafter referred to as the second usage mode).
[0022] The armrests (130a, 130b) are each composed of two on the left and right sides, and the armrest (130a) on the side where the massage bed section (120) is located can be detachably connected to either the side of the recliner (110) or the side of the massage bed section (120). That is, for the first usage mode of the multi-purpose sofa of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, the armrest (130a) must be directly connected to the recliner (110). Therefore, to switch from the second usage mode (see FIG. 1) to the first usage mode (see FIG. 5), the armrest (130a) is separated from the massage bed section (120), and then the massage bed section (120) is also separated from the recliner (110), and then only the armrest (130a) is connected to the side of the recliner (110). Conversely, to switch from the first usage mode to the second usage mode, the armrest (130a) is detached from the recliner (110) (as exemplified in FIG. 6), and then the armrest (130a) is attached to the massage bed (120) while the massage bed (120) is attached to the recliner (110).
[0023] Accordingly, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the multi-purpose sofa of the present invention should be configured so that the recliner (110), the massage bed part (120), and the armrest (130) can be easily detached or attached to each other as needed.
[0024] In addition, since an armrest (130a) of the same structure must be connected to the first connecting member (150a) provided on one side of the recliner (110) and the third connecting member (150c) provided on one side of the massage bed (120), the structure involved in connecting with the armrest (130a) in the structures of the first connecting member (150a) and the third connecting member (150c) must be configured to have the same position and the same size. That is, although not illustrated in detail, the fourth coupling member (150d) provided on the inside of the armrest (130a) must be able to be coupled and fixed to the first coupling member (150a) and also coupled and fixed to the third coupling member (150c); therefore, the structure involved in coupling with the fourth coupling member (150d) from the first coupling member (150a) and the third coupling member (150c) must be identical. In addition, the structure involved in coupling from the second coupling member (150b) (not specifically illustrated), located in the part of the massage bed portion (120) that is coupled with the recliner (110), must also be substantially identical to the structure involved in coupling from the fourth coupling member (150d). Although not specifically illustrated in FIG. 4, it is preferable that the first connecting member (150a) and the third connecting member (150c) are configured identically to each other, and the second connecting member (150b) and the fourth connecting member (150d) are configured identically to each other.
[0025] Referring to FIG. 7, a massage module is provided in the massage bed portion (120b) of the multi-purpose sofa. The massage module may be provided in the middle area (120b1) of the massage bed portion (120) as illustrated.
[0026] Finally, referring to FIG. 8, in a multi-purpose sofa according to one embodiment of the present invention, the armrest (120) may be configured to have a rectangular cross-section as described above, and as shown in FIG. 8, the armrest (130a, 130b) may be formed to have a trapezoidal cross-section and a shape that extends further outward from the top (a cross-section in the shape of an 'L' when viewed from the front) to provide convenience for the user.
