Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to compensation for near-field measurement test data in the field of military radar, and more specifically, to an automated correction device and method for an integrated Look Up Table (LUT) for antenna near-field testing that automates the procedure for creating an integrated LUT and adds a function to visualize the numerical values of gain and phase for each channel of each antenna to verify whether the correction is performed correctly. Background Technology
[0003] Radar is a device that detects the distance from the radar to the target or the shape of the target by radiating microwaves or millimeter waves generated in a very short time to a target using a highly directional antenna, and then receiving the reflected waves from the target. Meanwhile, a typical near-field test is a method of measuring electromagnetically close distances by generating continuous wave or pulse signals using a signal generator or network analyzer.
[0004] In this context, an antenna is a device that converts electrical signals into electromagnetic waves for radiation or receives external electromagnetic waves and converts them into electrical signals. Verification of antenna characteristics is performed through near-field measurement tests; these tests measure the radiation characteristics of the antenna's gain and phase, and analyze the transmit and receive outputs, beamwidth, and beam steering characteristics.
[0005] The operating technology of the antenna is explained as follows.
[0006] In the case of transmission mode (Tx), the electrical signal is converted into an electromagnetic wave and radiated into space, and the transmission process is performed according to the following procedure.
[0007] 1. Generates an electrical signal at the transmitter.
[0008] 2. The generated signal is adjusted to the frequency band to be transmitted through a modulation process.
[0009] 3. The modulated signal is amplified through a power amplifier at the transmitter and transmitted to the antenna.
[0010] 4. The amplified signal is input into the antenna, converted into electromagnetic waves, and radiated into space.
[0011] Next, in the receiving mode (Rx), the antenna receives electromagnetic waves coming from the outside and converts them into electrical signals, and the receiving process is performed according to the following procedure.
[0012] 1. An antenna receives electromagnetic waves radiated from the outside.
[0013] 2. The received electromagnetic waves are converted into electrical signals by the antenna.
[0014] 3. Since the received signal is generally very weak, it is amplified through a power amplifier at the receiver.
[0015] 4. The amplified signal undergoes a demodulation process and is restored to the original information signal.
[0016] Based on the operating technology of the above antenna, the transmission and reception performance characteristics of the antenna are verified through near-field measurement tests.
[0017] Near-field measurement testing is a method used to evaluate antenna performance by measuring the transmission and reception radiation patterns, gain, and phase of the antenna. In this process, the gain and phase correction procedures are critical, making accurate measurement and correction essential.
[0018] Gain is generally measured in decibels (dB), and since it allows for the radiation or reception of strong signals, it needs to be corrected to an optimal gain value. Phase, on the other hand, is a concept representing the position at a specific point in time within a periodic electromagnetic signal and is generally expressed in degrees.
[0019] In this case, a periodic signal represents a cycle of 360 degrees. When transmitting or receiving multiple signals, signal interference may occur if the phases of each antenna channel differ, whereas if the phases match, the signal is strengthened and the signal strength can be adjusted in a specific direction. Therefore, it is necessary to correct the optimal phase value.
[0020] Accordingly, the gain and phase correction process involves aligning the array plane of the antenna and measuring each antenna channel to extract the gain and phase data before correction. The extracted data is then converted into optimal gain and phase bit values to be applied to the antenna, and an optimization correction process is performed. Additionally, the corrected gain and phase values are verified, and the beam pattern is measured to check the antenna performance. In other words, this is a process in the field of military radar that corrects data measured in the near-field to be closer to the values at the actual operating distance (far-field).
[0021] For this reason, the near-field measurement test requires a correction procedure for the antenna's gain and phase, and it can be considered an important procedure to improve the accuracy of signal strength, minimize the effects of signal interference and multipath propagation, and enhance the performance characteristics of transmission and reception.
[0022] The calibration procedure for the near-field measurement test involves measuring the gain and phase of transmission and reception, and extracting the calibration result value through an optimal calculation method. The extracted data is then applied to the antenna, and to perform calibration for transmission and reception, the calibration process is carried out in three modes: transmission mode (Tx), transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10), and reception mode (Rx).
[0023] The correction process in the three modes of Tx / Tx N10 / Rx is performed by completing all P2P operations on the antenna array plane and then creating a Look Up Table (LUT) for the correction operation and applying it to the antenna to derive the results. At this time, P2P (Point to Point) refers to measuring the intrinsic gain and phase of each channel on the antenna array plane, and LUT refers to data stored in a table format containing pre-calculated numerical values to enable the rapid finding or calculation of specific values in the antenna for correcting the magnitude and phase values of each channel of the antenna.
[0024] However, when proceeding with the LUT production process, there is the inconvenience of having to verify numerous data points, such as channel positions, frequencies, gains, and phases for each mode based on P2P data, and then execute the production procedure. Furthermore, since LUT values must be modified during system operation due to changes in output levels or equipment temperature, it is practically very difficult to store LUT values for such numerous cases, and this is even more so given the current trend of systems becoming increasingly broadband. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0062] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below but may be implemented in various different forms, and the embodiments of the present invention are provided merely to ensure that the disclosure of the present invention is complete and to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention. To explain the invention in detail, the drawings may be exaggerated, and like reference numerals in the drawings refer to like elements.
[0063] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the configuration of an integrated LUT automated correction device for antenna near-field testing according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2a and FIG. 2b are diagrams visually representing the gain and phase numerical data from the LUT verification unit of FIG. 1.
[0064] Referring to FIG. 1, an integrated LUT automation correction device for antenna near-field testing according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an antenna module (100), a near-field scanner (200), a LUT (Look Up Table) correction unit (300), and a LUT verification unit (400).
[0065] The antenna module (100) includes a plurality of array antennas and converts an electrical signal into an electromagnetic wave and radiates it through the plurality of array antennas, or receives an external electromagnetic wave and converts it into an electrical signal. At this time, the antenna module (100) may be a phase array antenna that changes the direction and shape of a beam by electronically controlling multiple antenna elements.
[0066] The proximity field scanner (200) measures the gain and phase of the electric signal transmitted and received from the antenna module (100) to generate P2P (Point to Point) data for the transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx). The P2P data is data measured through the strength of the electric field or magnetic field for each channel in the antenna array, and includes the position, frequency, gain, phase, etc. of the channels for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx).
[0067] At this time, the proximity field scanner (200) measures each channel by moving the RF probe at a certain distance from the antenna module (100). For example, the semiconductor transceiver module has 16 channels, and in this case, measurements are taken for each of the 16 channels. The RF probe is a small sensor for directly measuring the strength of an electric field (E-field) or a magnetic field (H-field) near the antenna of the antenna module (100) or an electromagnetic radiation source.
[0068] The LUT correction unit (300) checks gain and phase data based on the P2P data of the transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) generated by the near-field scanner (200), converts the confirmed gain and phase values into bit values input to the antenna, adds them to an Excel template for LUT production for each antenna operating frequency, generates a LUT (Look Up Table) for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx), and performs data correction by conducting a verification P2P process to measure the performance characteristics of the antenna module's transmission and reception using the generated LUT as input to the antenna module (100).
[0069] As an example, the antenna operating frequency may be from 9 GHz to 10 GHz, and the LUT correction unit (300) may organize the calculation work for the antenna operating frequency from 9 GHz to 10 GHz into 7 Excel sheets, and the result data may also be organized into 7 result Excel sheets. Then, the organized result data is added to the LUT production Excel form to generate LUTs for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx).
[0070] At this time, the LUT may be data in which the LUT files of each mode are integrated into a single final LUT for application to the antenna module (100). This integrated LUT data is used as correction data for the antenna module (100).
[0071] The LUT verification unit (400) displays the results of correcting the magnitude of gain and phase data for each channel according to each frequency for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) through a verification P2P process performed in the LUT correction unit (300). At this time, if the displayed correction result is displayed with a constant magnitude for each channel, it can be confirmed that the correction has been performed correctly.
[0072] Referring to FIGS. 2a and 2b, the LUT verification unit (400) quantifies and displays the magnitudes of the corrected gain and phase for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) within a channel block configured for each channel, as illustrated in (a) of FIGS. 2a and 2b.
[0073] And the LUT verification unit (400) displays the magnitudes of the corrected gain and phase in the form of graphs based on numerical data that is numerically displayed within the channel block, as shown in (b) of FIGS. 2a and FIGS. 2b.
[0074] In this case, if the correction result has a constant magnitude for each channel, it can be confirmed that the correction has been performed correctly; the more correctly the correction is performed, the more the displayed graph appears in the form of a consistent horizontal line.
[0075] Through the form of these graphs, the designer can intuitively check whether there are channel-specific abnormalities in the corrected gain and phase, whether there is a phase issue in a single channel, and whether the final LUT has been properly produced. This allows the designer to easily verify whether the magnitude and phase have been consistently corrected for each channel according to each frequency, using visualized numerical data.
[0077] Hereinafter, an integrated LUT automated correction method for antenna near-field testing according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. The integrated LUT automated correction method for antenna near-field testing according to an embodiment of the present invention may be a method for processing a received signal using the aforementioned integrated LUT automated correction device for antenna near-field testing. Since the aforementioned details regarding the integrated LUT automated correction device for antenna near-field testing can be applied as is, the description of redundant details may be omitted.
[0078] FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating an automated correction method for an integrated LUT for antenna near-field testing. FIG. 4 to 6 are flowcharts illustrating the process of generating LUTs for each transmit mode (Tx), transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10), and receive mode (Rx) in FIG. 3.
[0079] Referring to FIG. 3, the integrated LUT automated correction method for antenna near-field testing according to an embodiment of the present invention measures the gain and phase of the electrical signals transmitted and received by the antenna module (100) at a near-field scanner (200) to generate P2P (Point to Point) data for the transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) (S100). The P2P data is data measured through the strength of the electric field or magnetic field for each channel in the antenna array, and includes the position, frequency, gain, phase, etc. of the channels for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx).
[0080] Next, in the LUT correction unit (300), an application program (LUT automation correction program) for antenna near-field testing is executed (S200), and P2P (Point to Point) data of the transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) measured from the near-field scanner (200) is loaded (S300).
[0081] Then, in the LUT correction unit (300), based on the loaded P2P data for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx), gain and phase data are checked, and the checked gain and phase values are converted into bit values input to the antenna and added to an LUT production Excel form for each antenna operating frequency to generate a LUT (Look Up Table) for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) (S400).
[0082] At this time, the process of generating LUTs for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) is explained in detail below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6.
[0083] Then, in the LUT correction unit (300), the LUT (Look Up Table) generated for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) is input into the antenna module (100), and a verification P2P process is performed to measure the performance characteristics of the antenna module's transmission and reception, and data correction is performed by measuring for each mode whether the gain and phase values for each channel in the antenna array are correctly corrected (S500).
[0084] Next, in the LUT verification unit (400), for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx), the results of correcting the magnitude of gain and phase data based on each channel according to each frequency through the verification P2P process are displayed for each channel (S600).
[0085] At this time, the displayed correction results are numerically displayed within the channel block configured for each channel, such as the magnitudes of the corrected gain and phase for each transmission mode (Tx), transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10), and reception mode (Rx), as illustrated in FIGS. 2a and 2b. Then, based on the numerical data displayed within the channel block, the magnitudes of the corrected gain and phase are each displayed in the form of a graph.
[0086] In this case, if the correction result has a constant magnitude for each channel, it can be confirmed that the correction has been performed correctly; the more correctly the correction is performed, the more the displayed graph appears in the form of a consistent horizontal line.
[0087] Through the form of these graphs, the designer can intuitively check whether there are channel-specific abnormalities in the corrected gain and phase, whether there is a phase issue in a single channel, and whether the final LUT has been properly produced. This allows the designer to easily verify whether the magnitude and phase have been consistently corrected for each channel according to each frequency, using visualized numerical data.
[0088] At this time, the process (S600) of displaying the results of correcting the magnitude of gain and phase data based on each channel according to each frequency for each channel is explained in detail below with reference to FIG. 7.
[0090] Figure 4 is a flowchart illustrating the process of generating an LUT in transmission mode (Tx) in Figure 3.
[0091] Referring to FIG. 4, the process of generating a LUT in the transmission mode (Tx) (S400) checks in advance whether the P2P data in the loaded transmission mode (Tx) has been correctly extracted as values for gain and phase by frequency (S401). That is, based on the loaded P2P data, the bits of the magnitude and phase of the channels applicable to the antenna in the transmission mode (Tx), such as location, frequency, gain, and phase, are calculated, and the error is checked to see if it has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, thereby confirming whether it has been correctly extracted.
[0092] Next, the information of the previously verified P2P data is entered into Excel bit calculation data (bit function, etc.) generated to be input into the antenna, and the information of the P2P data is compared with the reference gain and reference phase values of the Excel data that are pre-set to verify whether it has been entered correctly (S402). That is, by comparing the magnitudes of the position, frequency, gain, and phase of each channel of the antenna for each channel, and verifying whether the error has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, it is determined that it has been entered correctly.
[0093] Then, it is checked whether the position data of the XY axis of the P2P data has been accurately entered into the Excel bit calculation data (S403). That is, by comparing the position data, frequency, gain, phase, etc. of each channel of the antenna for each channel, and checking whether the error has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, it is determined that it has been correctly entered.
[0094] Next, the gain and phase, which are confirmed to have been correctly entered in the P2P data, are entered into the Excel bit calculation data, and it is checked whether the converted value for the magnitude and the converted value for the phase are correctly calculated based on the bit function defined in the Excel bit calculation data (S404).
[0095] In this case, the formula defined in the Excel bit calculation data is a formula that uses bit functions provided by default when performing bit operations or bit calculations in Excel, and can be calculated by defining bit flags in Excel. For example, bit functions may include BITAND, BITOR, BITXOR, BITLSHIFT, BITRSHIFT, etc. However, Excel bit-related functions are already publicly known, and numerous Excel bit functions exist, which may be arbitrarily selected by the designer.
[0096] Then, the gain and phase values calculated using a formula with a bit function are converted into bit values to be input to the antenna (S405).
[0097] Next, the converted Excel bit numerical results for each antenna operating frequency are organized into multiple Excel sheets to complete the transmit mode (Tx) LUT input data (S406). For example, the P2P data in the transmit mode (Tx) is organized into 7 Excel sheets through calculation work for frequencies from 9 GHz to 10 GHz, and the result data is also organized into 7 result Excel sheets to create the transmit mode (Tx) LUT file.
[0098] Then, a transmission mode (Tx) LUT is generated by inputting the completed LUT input data into a pre-saved LUT creation Excel template (S407).
[0099] Next, the generated transmission mode (Tx) LUT is input into the antenna module (100), and a verification P2P process is performed to check whether the data correction is performed correctly (S408). That is, the original data without the LUT applied and the corrected data with the LUT applied (after P2P application) are compared, and by checking whether the error in signal magnitude, phase, frequency, etc., is reduced to within the reference allowable error range as a result of the comparison, it is confirmed whether the data correction is performed well.
[0101] Figure 5 is a flowchart illustrating the process of generating a LUT in the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) in Figure 3.
[0102] Referring to FIG. 5, the process (S400) of generating a LUT for the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) by executing an automated correction program checks in advance whether the P2P data in the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) has been correctly extracted as values for gain and phase by frequency (S409). That is, based on the loaded P2P data, the bits of the magnitude and phase of the channels applicable to the antenna in the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10), such as the position, frequency, gain, and phase, are calculated, and the error is checked to see if it has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, thereby confirming whether it has been correctly extracted.
[0103] Next, the information of the previously verified P2P data is entered into Excel bit calculation data (bit function, etc.) generated to be input into the antenna, and the information of the P2P data is compared with the reference gain and reference phase values of the Excel data that are pre-set to verify whether it has been entered correctly (S410). That is, by comparing the magnitudes of the position, frequency, gain, and phase of each channel of the antenna for each channel, and verifying whether the error has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, it is determined that it has been entered correctly.
[0104] Then, it is checked whether the position data of the XY axis of the P2P data has been accurately entered into the Excel bit calculation data (S411). That is, by comparing the position data, frequency, gain, phase, etc. of each channel of the antenna for each channel, and checking whether the error has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, it is determined that it has been correctly entered.
[0105] Next, the gain and phase, which are confirmed to have been correctly entered in the P2P data, are entered into the Excel bit calculation data, and it is checked whether the converted value for the magnitude and the converted value for the phase are correctly calculated based on the bit function defined in the Excel bit calculation data (S412).
[0106] In this case, the formula defined in the Excel bit calculation data is a formula that uses bit functions provided by default when performing bit operations or bit calculations in Excel, and can be calculated by defining bit flags in Excel. For example, bit functions may include BITAND, BITOR, BITXOR, BITLSHIFT, BITRSHIFT, etc. However, Excel bit-related functions are already publicly known, and numerous Excel bit functions exist, which may be arbitrarily selected by the designer.
[0107] Then, the gain and phase values calculated using a formula with a bit function are converted into bit values to be input to the antenna (S413).
[0108] Next, the Excel bit numerical results for each antenna operating frequency are organized into multiple Excel sheets to complete the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) LUT input data (S414). For example, the P2P data for the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) is organized into 7 Excel sheets through calculation work for frequencies from 9 GHz to 10 GHz, and the result data is also organized into 7 result Excel sheets to create the transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) LUT file.
[0109] Then, the completed LUT input data is entered into a pre-saved LUT creation Excel template to generate a transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) LUT (S415).
[0110] Next, the transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) LUT generated in the antenna module (100) is input, and a verification P2P process is performed to check whether the data correction is performed correctly (S416).
[0112] Figure 6 is a flowchart illustrating the process of generating a LUT in the receiving mode (Rx) in Figure 3.
[0113] Referring to FIG. 6, the process of generating a LUT in the receiving mode (Rx) (S400) checks in advance whether the P2P data in the loaded receiving mode (Rx) has been correctly extracted as values for gain and phase by frequency (S417). That is, based on the loaded P2P data, the bits of the magnitude and phase of the channels applicable to the antenna in the receiving mode (Rx), such as location, frequency, gain, and phase, are calculated, and the error is checked to see if it has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, thereby confirming whether it has been correctly extracted.
[0114] Next, the information of the previously verified P2P data is entered into Excel bit calculation data (bit function, etc.) generated to be input into the antenna, and the information of the P2P data is compared with the reference gain and reference phase values of the Excel data that are pre-set to verify whether it has been entered correctly (S418). That is, by comparing the magnitudes of the position, frequency, gain, and phase of each channel of the antenna for each channel, and verifying whether the error has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, it is determined that it has been entered correctly.
[0115] Then, it is checked whether the position data of the XY axis of the P2P data has been accurately entered into the Excel bit calculation data (S419). That is, by comparing the position data, frequency, gain, phase, etc. of each channel of the antenna for each channel, and checking whether the error has been reduced to within the reference allowable error range, it is determined that it has been correctly entered.
[0116] Next, the gain and phase, which are confirmed to have been correctly entered in the P2P data, are entered into the Excel bit calculation data, and it is checked whether the converted value for the magnitude and the converted value for the phase are correctly calculated based on the bit function defined in the Excel bit calculation data (S420).
[0117] In this case, the formula defined in the Excel bit calculation data is a formula that uses bit functions provided by default when performing bit operations or bit calculations in Excel, and can be calculated by defining bit flags in Excel. For example, bit functions may include BITAND, BITOR, BITXOR, BITLSHIFT, BITRSHIFT, etc. However, Excel bit-related functions are already publicly known, and numerous Excel bit functions exist, which may be arbitrarily selected by the designer.
[0118] Then, the gain and phase values calculated using a formula with a bit function are converted into bit values to be input to the antenna (S421).
[0119] Next, the Excel bit value results for each antenna operating frequency are organized into multiple Excel sheets to complete the LUT input data for the receive mode (Rx) (S422). For example, the P2P data for the receive mode (Rx) is organized into 7 Excel sheets through calculation work for frequencies from 9 GHz to 10 GHz, and the result data is also organized into 7 result Excel sheets to create a LUT file for the receive mode (Rx).
[0120] Then, the completed LUT input data is entered into a pre-saved LUT creation Excel template to generate a receive mode (Rx) LUT (S423).
[0121] Next, the generated receiving mode (Rx) LUT is input into the antenna module (100), and a verification P2P process is performed to check whether the data correction is performed correctly (S424).
[0122] Transmit mode (Tx) / transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / receive mode (Rx) is performed through the process of FIGS. 4 to 6 above.
[0124] Figure 7 is a flowchart illustrating the process of displaying, channel by channel, the results of correcting the magnitude of gain and phase data based on each channel according to each frequency in Figure 3.
[0125] Referring to FIG. 7, the process (S600) of displaying the results of correcting the magnitude of gain and phase data for each channel according to each frequency involves opening the P2P data and checking the currently set P2P data (S610). At this time, the P2P data is data measured through the strength of the electric or magnetic field for each channel in the antenna array, and includes the position, frequency, gain, phase, etc. of the channels for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx).
[0126] Next, the identified P2P data is changed into LUT correction data using the correction data stored in the generated LUT (S620). That is, the values of frequency, gain, etc. corresponding to the P2P data set at the positions of the channels for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx) are changed into the correction data stored in the LUT.
[0127] Then, LUT correction data is input into the antenna module (100) for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx), and a verification P2P process is performed to measure gain and phase data for each mode based on each channel according to each frequency (S630).
[0128] Next, based on the measurement results performed for each mode, results are generated and displayed for each channel in which the magnitudes of the gain and phase data are corrected according to each channel at each frequency (S640). Then, through the displayed correction results, it is checked whether the gain and phase data correction has been performed correctly (S650).
[0129] When the result of the verification (S650) confirms that the data correction has been performed correctly, the corrected data is used as LUT correction data for the antenna module (100) (S660).
[0130] And if it is confirmed that the data correction was not performed correctly upon verification (650), the process is fed back to the above S300 process to update the P2P data for each transmission mode (Tx) / transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / reception mode (Rx), and the above process is repeated (S670).
[0131] At this time, the displayed correction results are numerically displayed within the channel block configured for each channel, such as the magnitudes of the corrected gain and phase for each transmission mode (Tx), transmission normal 10 mode (Tx N10), and reception mode (Rx), as illustrated in FIGS. 2a and 2b. Then, based on the numerical data displayed within the channel block, the magnitudes of the corrected gain and phase are each displayed in the form of a graph.
[0132] Furthermore, if the correction results have a constant magnitude for each channel, it can be confirmed that the correction has been performed correctly; the more correctly the correction is performed, the more the displayed graph appears in the form of a consistent horizontal line.
[0134] As such, the operation of the present invention proceeds with the automated correction of an integrated LUT for antenna near-field testing through the processes of FIGS. 2 and FIGS. 4 to 7, and these processes can be carried out using the 'Integrated LUT Automated Correction Program for Antenna Near-field Testing'. In this case, data is prepared based on existing P2P data of the transmit mode (Tx) / transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / receive mode (Rx), and when the data is loaded into the 'Integrated LUT Automated Correction Program for Antenna Near-field Testing' for each mode, it is possible to confirm that data has been input for each mode, and with a single Calculation button, the bit calculation of the magnitude and phase applicable to the antenna for each channel based on the P2P data is automatically calculated and the results can be checked. The result data confirmed in this way can be verified for each transmit mode (Tx) / transmit normal 10 mode (Tx N10) / receive mode (Rx), and a LUT production file is generated with a single Calculation button.
