Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an automatic catch separation device for a fishing net mounted on a ship, and more specifically, to an automatic catch separation device for a fishing net mounted on a ship that allows the catch to be separated while the fishing net is towed in an unfolded state. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, coastal gillnet fishing is a type of fishing that catches fish using drift gillnets or fixed gillnets. A drift gillnet is a fishing method in which swimming fish are caught by allowing the fishing gear to drift with the current without being fixed, thereby getting the fish caught in the mesh.

[0003] Most drift nets are floating gill nets laid on the surface, but yellow croaker drift nets are bottom gill nets laid on the bottom.

[0004] The netting of the drift net is generally made of monofilament, with a mesh size of 50mm to 53mm, a width of 23 to 25m, and a height of 8 to 10m, and is used by connecting 300 to 500 widths. The structure and method of such netting are applied in various ways depending on the region or the size of the fishing vessel.

[0005] Fishing operations using drift gill nets begin around mid-August each year. With departures spaced approximately 15 days apart, there are about 14 to 18 trips annually, with 10 to 13 crew members on board for each trip. The casting of the drift gill net is completed two hours before sunrise by adjusting the buoy lines according to water depth. The vessel moves rapidly forward from the stern, catching the wind and aligning almost with the direction of the current (taking approximately 60 to 90 minutes), after which the net is anchored by connecting the mooring line. After completing the casting and waiting for a certain period, the net hauling operation is carried out.

[0006] However, there is a problem in that the time required for net removal is excessive because the crew members have to individually remove the catch, such as yellow croaker, mackerel, and cutlassfish, which are pulled up while stuck in the mesh during the aforementioned net hauling operation.

[0007] If we look at the problems of the net hauling operation in more detail, the fishing net, which is pulled up onto the ship by a side drum installed on the side of the engine room and a net hauler installed on the forward deck of the bow, is simultaneously lifted along with the net material, components such as buoys and buoy lines, floats and float lines, and footings and footings, as well as catches such as yellow croaker stuck in the mesh, and loaded into a net rack prepared in the center of the deck.

[0008] In this process, all crew members on board must be involved in pushing through the tangled fishing net materials and spreading out the net fabric to remove the catch stuck in the mesh one by one, which consumes a lot of time in the net removal process and further increases the fatigue of the crew members.

[0009] Moreover, depending on the size of the fishing vessel, when a large amount of fish is caught using fish crates, net removal work inside the hull becomes more difficult and time-consuming. Consequently, it frequently occurs that the catch is loaded onto the vessel along with the nets upon arrival, and then the nets are spread out on the dock and additional auxiliary personnel are deployed to perform the net removal work. Amidst the recent surge in fishing expenses due to high fuel prices and a shortage of crew members, which are causing significant hardship for fishermen, the inefficiency of such net removal operations is further exacerbating their economic losses.

[0010] Therefore, there is a need to develop a device that enables the efficient removal of catches, such as yellow croaker, during net hauling operations. Prior art literature

[0014] Additionally, the side fishing net towing unit comprises: a side support frame extending upward with its lower end supported by the vessel; upper and lower towing rollers mounted in the center of the side support frame and towing the fishing net rope while rotating in a state of mutual contact; guide rollers respectively provided at the front and rear relative to the upper and lower towing rollers to guide the direction of transport of the rope and formed to pass through the net body; and a side towing drive unit that rotates at least one of the upper and lower towing rollers.

[0015] In addition, the upper traction roller is mounted to enable elastic upward movement when the outer diameter of the element inserted between it and the lower traction roller increases.

[0016] Additionally, the central fishing net towing unit comprises: central support frames extending upward and having their lower ends supported on the vessel at a spaced-apart from each other; a cylindrical rotating body mounted to extend horizontally and rotatably on the central support frames; a plurality of friction towing bars protruding at a spaced-apart from each other along the longitudinal direction on the outer surface of the cylindrical rotating body to generate towing force through frictional interference with the net body; and a central towing drive unit that rotates the cylindrical rotating body.

Specific details for implementing the invention

[0020] Hereinafter, an automatic catch separation device for a fishing net mounted on a ship according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0021] FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view showing the state in which the automatic catch separation device of a fishing net according to the present invention is mounted on a ship, and FIG. 2 is a front view showing the automatic catch separation device of a fishing net of FIG. 1 in a extracted form.

[0022] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the automatic catch separation device (100) for a fishing net mounted on a ship according to the present invention comprises a side fishing net towing unit (120) and a central fishing net towing unit (150).

[0023] Side fishing net towing units (120) are positioned opposite each other on both sides in the width direction of the vessel (10) to support the separation of catches, such as yellow croaker, from a fishing net (20) that is lifted by a net hauler (110) mounted on the bow of the vessel (10), and are configured to each tow ropes (30) that extend along the edges of the fishing net (20) entering through the net hauler (110), and to allow a net body (40) combined between the ropes (30) to pass through, and are described with reference to FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 4.

[0024] The side fishing net towing unit (120) is equipped with a side support frame (121), upper and lower towing rollers (131)(132), a guide roller (135), and a side towing drive unit.

[0025] The side support frame (121) is constructed with a side support column (121) that is supported at the bottom by the vessel (10) and extends upward, and a mounting guide bracket (121b) that is coupled to the top of the side support column (121) to support the mounting of upper and lower towing rollers (131)(132), guide rollers (135), and a side towing drive unit. The mounting guide bracket (121b) is formed in a 'C' shape, with one side facing the central area of the vessel (10) where the central fishing net towing unit (150) is mounted and the front and rear sides open, while the other side is closed at the top and bottom.

[0026] The upper and lower traction rollers (131) (132) are mounted at the center of the mounting guide bracket (121b) of the side support frame (121) and are mounted so as to be rotatable in parallel with the first interlocking direction in the direction of the rotation center axis so as to be able to traction the rope (30) of the fishing net (20) while rotating in a mutually close state.

[0027] Guide rollers (135) are provided at the front and rear respectively with respect to the upper and lower traction rollers (131) (132). The guide rollers (135) are mounted on a mounting guide bracket (121b) and are formed to guide the transport direction of the rope (30) and allow the net body (40) to pass through.

[0028] Guide rollers (135) are rotatably mounted along a vertical direction, which is a second direction intersecting the first direction.

[0029] The traction drive unit is configured to rotate at least one of the upper and lower traction rollers (131) (132), and in the illustrated example, it is constructed to rotate the upper and lower traction rollers (131) (132) using power generated by the first motor (141).

[0030] The upper traction roller (131) is mounted so that it can move elastically upward when the outer diameter of the element inserted between it and the lower traction roller (132) increases. That is, the upper traction roller (131) is installed so that it can be elastically supported downward to press the lower traction roller (132), by connecting the other end of a support bracket (138), which is configured to rotate through the first hinge (137), to one end of a spring (139), which is mounted to be supported through the mounting guide bracket (121b). Additionally, the rotation axis of the upper traction roller (131) is rotatably mounted on the support bracket (138). Accordingly, when a buoy with an outer diameter larger than that of the rope (30) enters the lower towing roller (132), the upper towing roller (131) rotates upward around the first hinge (137) and rises, and when the rope (30) enters again after passing the buoy, it descends and rotates again by the restoring force of the spring (139).

[0031] In addition, a tension adjustment unit is provided to adjust the allowable elastic strength of the up and down motion by adjusting the elastic force of the spring (139) of the upper traction roller (132).

[0032] The tension adjustment part is constructed with a tension adjustment bolt (133a) that is connected to the other end of the spring (139) and inserted through the through hole of the stopper (134), and a nut (133b) that is screw-coupled to the tension adjustment bolt (133a) and has an outer diameter that blocks the passage of the stopper (134) through the through hole.

[0033] This tension adjustment part can adjust the allowable elastic strength by adjusting the length of the tension adjustment bolt (133a) extending to the lower part of the stopper (134) through the movement of the nut (133b).

[0034] The central fishing net towing unit (150) is mounted on a vessel (10) at a location where a net body (40) is moved, which is coupled between the previously described ropes (30) between the side fishing net towing units (120), and supports the separation of catches from the mesh by spreading the net body (40) while applying a towing force by a pulling force caused by rotational interference, and is described with reference to FIGS. 5 and FIGS. 6.

[0035] The central fishing net towing unit (150) comprises central support frames (151), a cylindrical rotating body (160), a plurality of friction towing bars (163), and a central towing drive unit.

[0036] The central support frame (151) is supported at the lower end of the ship (10) at a distance from one another and has central support columns (151a) that extend upward in a bar shape, a central horizontal column (151b) that connects the upper ends of the central support columns (151a) to one another, and a central rotating support bracket (151c) that extends upward from the upper end of the central support columns to support a cylindrical rotating body.

[0037] The cylindrical rotating body (160) is formed in a cylindrical shape and is mounted to extend horizontally so as to be rotatable through the central rotating support bracket (151c) of the central support frame (151).

[0038] A plurality of friction traction bars (163) are attached to the outer surface of the cylindrical rotating body (160) so as to protrude from each other along the longitudinal direction. The friction traction bars (163) function to generate traction force through frictional interference with the mesh body (40).

[0039] The central traction drive unit rotates the cylindrical rotating body (160) and is equipped with a second motor (165) that rotates the rotation axis of the cylindrical rotating body (160).

[0040] According to this structure, the fishing net (20) is pulled as the rope (30) is transported by two side fishing net pulling units (120) positioned opposite each other, and the fishing net (20) is unfolded, and the fishing net (20) is pulled towards the center through the central fishing net pulling unit (150), thereby separating the catch by expanding the mesh.

[0041] The rear traction guide unit (170) is coupled to the central support frame (151) and has a structure having a collection guide bar (172) that is spaced apart from and extended parallel to the cylindrical rotating body (160) at a height lower than the top of the cylindrical rotating body (160) so that the net body (40) can slide relative to the cylindrical rotating body (160), and rear side bars (173) that are bent at each end of the collection guide bar (172) and extended rearward.

[0042] Here, the collection guide bar (1720) is horizontally connected to the end of an auxiliary horizontal column (171) that extends horizontally from the middle height of the central support column (151a) of the central support frame (151).

[0043] This rear traction guiding unit (170) can guide the rearward transport by maintaining the unfolded state even after the process of separating the catch from the fishing net (20), thereby providing the advantage of supporting easier separation of unseparated catch and sorting of the fishing net.

[0044] Meanwhile, the side fishing net towing unit (120) and the central fishing net towing unit (150) are configured to synchronize their operation so that the towing of the fishing net (20) can be carried out smoothly.

[0045] The automatic catch separation device for a ship-mounted fishing net described above offers the advantage of being able to support the separation of catches from a fishing net being hauled in, while maintaining a simple structure. Explanation of the symbols
