Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a technology for manufacturing building materials by processing wood, etc., and more specifically, to an automated processing system for forming building members using various materials, including by-products generated during the process of cutting and processing wood, and manufacturing building materials of a certain shape by processing them in a continuous process. Background Technology
[0003] Generally, wood-based construction materials are produced by cutting raw logs into square timbers or planks, which are then used as structural frames, interior materials, or exterior materials for buildings. In this wood processing process, raw logs are cut into specific lengths and cross-sectional shapes, and subsequent processes such as surface polishing or coating are performed as needed.
[0004] Such wood processing inevitably generates various forms of by-products, such as sawdust, chips, and scraps. In particular, when undergoing cutting or shredding processes using circular cutting blades, by-products of varying particle sizes are produced, ranging from relatively fine sawdust to relatively large fragments, and these by-products are continuously generated throughout the entire process.
[0005] In this regard, conventionally, as a technology for processing waste wood or wood by-products, a system has been proposed to crush waste wood and recycle it into wood chips or sawdust (e.g., Prior Art Document 1). This technology focuses on crushing and sorting waste wood, including a crusher, a conveying means, and a foreign matter removal means, and has the main purpose of enabling the crushed wood to be utilized as fuel or auxiliary raw material.
[0006] In addition, devices for cutting or crushing wood into a uniform size have been proposed, and technologies for efficiently processing wood using multiple rotary cutting blades or crushing rollers are also widely used (e.g., Prior Art Document 2). These technologies were developed primarily for the purpose of improving the productivity of wood processing or obtaining materials of a size suitable for subsequent processes.
[0007] Meanwhile, techniques for treating the surface of wood using paints or coating agents to improve the surface quality of wood are also widely known (e.g., Prior Art Document 3), and various devices have been proposed to form a uniform coating layer on the outer surface of wood through methods such as roller or spraying. These techniques mainly focus on surface treatment to improve water resistance, durability, or aesthetics.
[0008] In addition, as a technology for recycling wood powder or sawdust generated during the wood processing process, a technology has been proposed to mold building materials of a certain shape by mixing wood powder with resin or a binder (e.g., Prior Art Document 4). This technology is a method of manufacturing a separate composite material by utilizing wood by-products as materials, and has a certain effect in terms of resource recycling.
[0009] However, the aforementioned conventional technologies focus on individual processes, such as wood processing, crushing or recycling of by-products, surface coating, or composite molding, and it is rare for these processes to be performed in an organically linked manner within a single system. In other words, wood processing and by-product treatment processes are generally operated separately, which leads to problems involving additional equipment and costs during the transfer, storage, and re-feeding processes between stages.
[0010] In particular, in conventional technology, by-products generated during the wood processing are often collected and stored separately to be used for other purposes or discarded, rather than being directly utilized within the same process. Consequently, there is a problem where by-products cannot be utilized immediately upon generation, leading to reduced process efficiency.
[0011] Furthermore, conventional surface treatment technologies are mainly limited to methods of forming a thin layer on the surface of wood using liquid paints or coating agents, and sufficient consideration has not been given to technologies that form an outer layer with thickness by attaching particulate materials to the outer surface of wood. In particular, technologies for uniformly attaching particulate materials and stably fixing them so that they do not fall off are relatively inadequate.
[0012] Furthermore, conventional technology lacks consideration for structures that maintain a consistent shape of materials attached to the outer surface of wooden members or secure a uniform appearance by removing excess attached material. Consequently, the outer shape of the final building material may become non-uniform, leading to quality variations.
[0013] Furthermore, despite the increasing demand for systems capable of continuously automating a series of processes ranging from wood processing and byproduct generation to byproduct treatment and reuse, outer layer formation, and final shape maintenance, technologies capable of integrally performing this entire process have not been sufficiently proposed.
[0014] In particular, technology for continuously performing multiple processes while holding a wooden member, automatically controlling positional movement, alignment, and insertion movements between processes, and finally performing drying and fixing simultaneously within a structure that constrains the shape are still insufficient.
[0015] Therefore, there is a need for automated construction material processing technology that effectively utilizes by-products generated during the wood processing process, attaches them to the outer surface of lumber to form construction materials of a specific shape, and can continuously perform this series of processes within a single system. Prior art literature
[0017] KR101025494B1KR100686313B1KR101341141B1KR101341141B1 The problem to be solved
[0018] The present invention is proposed to solve the aforementioned problems and aims to provide an eco-friendly construction material processing automation system that utilizes by-products generated during the wood processing process for forming the outer layer of construction materials by continuously processing them within the same process, rather than simply discarding them or recycling them in a separate process.
[0019] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a system that enables the manufacture of a building material having a consistent external shape without the need for separate exterior materials by using a lumber formed by cutting wood as a central structure and attaching by-products to the outer surface of the lumber to form an outer layer.
[0020] In addition, the present invention aims to improve process efficiency by continuously performing a series of processes for recovering, transporting, coloring, and drying by-products generated in the wood processing section within a single system, and by enabling the processed by-products to be repeatedly supplied and attached to the outer surface of the timber.
[0021] In addition, the present invention aims to provide an automated processing system that eliminates the need for realignment or re-fixing between processes by enabling the continuous performance of adhesive application, rotational attachment, positional movement, and insertion processes while holding a piece of wood.
[0022] Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a structure that limits the outer shape to uniformly maintain the shape of by-products attached to the outer surface of a timber, removes excess attached by-products, and provides a shape-organizing and fixing structure capable of stably maintaining a dry state.
[0023] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a system capable of automated alignment and insertion by performing position detection and alignment using a sensor and position correction and insertion control using a plurality of driving units to accurately insert a timber into an outer shape-limiting structure.
[0024] Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a construction material processing technology that can improve the efficiency of the construction material manufacturing process and increase resource utilization by integrating wood processing, byproduct treatment, outer layer formation, shape maintenance, and drying processes into a single continuous automated system. means of solving the problem
[0026] An automated processing system for eco-friendly building materials according to the present invention may include a processing unit comprising a cutting blade into which wood is fed and cut into a longitudinally extended timber; a recovery unit continuously disposed below the processing unit for collecting by-products generated during cutting by dropping them downward; a coloring unit connected to one side of the recovery unit for receiving the by-products and applying color; and a drying unit for supplying hot air to the colored by-products. The recovery unit may include a collection container for receiving the dropped by-products and a transfer pipe connected to one side of the collection container and having a screw disposed inside to transfer the by-products in one direction. The coloring unit may include a rotating drum for receiving the transferred by-products and a color spray nozzle for spraying a color solution into the rotating drum. The system is characterized by being configured to be continuously processed and reused within a series of processes including the recovery unit, the coloring unit, and the drying unit after the by-products are generated in the processing unit.
[0027] Next, the processing unit may include an input plate formed to allow the wood to be seated in the longitudinal direction, guide plates positioned on both sides of the input plate to support the sides of the wood, a plurality of transfer rollers positioned on the input plate to transport the wood in the longitudinal direction, a circular cutting blade coupled to a rotating shaft to cut the wood into longitudinally extended square timbers, a support plate positioned in front of the input plate to support the wood during cutting, and a scrap cutting unit positioned downstream of the circular cutting blade to finely cut the edge scraps remaining after cutting. The above-described scrap shredding unit comprises a shredding passage continuously arranged downstream of the circular cutting blade to receive scraps remaining after cutting, a pair of shredding rollers arranged facing each other across the shredding passage and having multiple cutting blades formed at spaced intervals on their outer surfaces, a drive shaft coupled to both ends of the shredding rollers to rotate the shredding rollers, a drop opening formed at the bottom of the shredding passage for the shredded by-products to fall downward, and by-products formed into short pieces or sawdust as the scraps are continuously cut by the shredding rollers to be discharged downward through the drop opening. The collection container of the recovery unit may have an upper opening arranged to correspond to the drop opening formed in the processing unit. The bottom surface of the collection container may be formed to slope downward in one direction so that the by-products move to one side. The transfer pipe of the recovery unit may be arranged to communicate with the lower side of the collection container. The screw of the above-mentioned transfer pipe is arranged to extend along the longitudinal direction of the transfer pipe and is coupled with a drive motor so that by-products discharged through the drop opening can flow into the collection container, move along the bottom surface, and be transferred to the transfer pipe. It can be configured to be continuously transferred by the rotation of the screw.
[0028] The rotating drum of the coloring unit may be configured such that an inlet is formed on one side to communicate with one end of the transfer pipe of the recovery unit, thereby allowing by-products transferred through the transfer pipe to flow into the interior. The coloring unit may further include a rotating plate positioned inside the rotating drum, formed in the shape of a concave disc, and supported to rotate about a central axis; a plurality of stirring pins protruding along the inner circumference of the rotating plate to lift and drop the by-products as they rotate, thereby causing them to flip over; a driving motor coupled to the central axis of the rotating plate to rotate the rotating plate; and an outlet formed at the bottom of the rotating drum for discharging the colored by-products. As the by-products introduced through the inlet are repeatedly lifted and dropped by the stirring pins in accordance with the rotation of the rotating plate, they may be mixed with the color liquid sprayed from the color spray nozzle to impart color to the surface. A color inlet hole may be formed on one side of the upper part of the rotating drum to supply the color liquid into the interior. The color spray nozzle may be positioned to correspond to the color inlet hole so that the color liquid is sprayed into the interior. The drying unit may include a hot air inlet formed on the upper side of the rotating drum, avoiding the color inlet, to allow hot air to be supplied inside, and a hot air blower connected to the hot air inlet to supply hot air. It may come into contact with the hot air supplied through the hot air inlet before being discharged from the rotating drum. It is characterized in that the by-product is agitated and dried according to the rotation of the rotating plate of the coloring unit, and then discharged to the outside through the discharge port.
[0029] Next, the by-product formed in the scrap cutting section of the processing section is discharged downward through the drop opening and transferred to the recovery section, and the eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include an adhesive application section for applying adhesive to the outer surface of the timber. The timber cut in the processing section may be transported forward along the support plate by the conveying roller and supplied to the adhesive application section. The adhesive application section may be connected to a first C-shaped grip and a second C-shaped grip, which are spaced apart in front of the processing section and formed to face each other on both sides of the timber, and configured to accommodate a portion of the outer surface of both sides of the timber in an open inner space. It may include an L-shaped link structure comprising a vertical link that extends in a vertical direction to guide lifting and lowering movement, and a horizontal link connected to the lower end of the vertical link and extending in a horizontal direction to move the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip closer to or further apart from each other, a first linear actuator coupled to the vertical link to move the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip vertically, and a second linear actuator coupled to the horizontal link to move the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip closer to or further apart from each other. The device may include an integrated drive unit that moves the positions of the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip in a combined upward and horizontal direction, a rotational drive unit that rotates the square board around a longitudinal central axis by including a rotational shaft connected to each of the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip and connected to rotate synchronously with respect to the same rotational axis, and a drive motor connected to the rotational shaft, a plurality of adhesive spray nozzles positioned above the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip to spray adhesive toward the outer surface of the square board, an adhesive storage container and a supply pipe that supply adhesive to the adhesive spray nozzles, and a position sensing sensor positioned at a location corresponding to the lower part of the adhesive spray nozzles to detect the state in which the square board is aligned at the center of the application position. The first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip may wait in a raised state to secure a space for the conveying of the square board, and when the position sensing sensor detects that the square board is aligned at the application position, they may be moved downward by the first linear actuator. The timber can be grasped by moving closer to each other by the second linear actuator. It can be moved upward by the first linear actuator. While the timber is rotated about its longitudinal central axis by the rotary drive unit in the raised state, the adhesive sprayed from the adhesive spray nozzle can be applied to the outer surface of the timber. The automated processing system for eco-friendly building materials may further include a rotary attachment unit that attaches by-products discharged from the drying unit to the timber coated with adhesive. The rotary attachment unit may support the L-shaped link structure by being slidably coupled to the shift rail, which is horizontally extended at the top of the vertical link of the adhesive application unit. The above L-shaped link structure may be configured to reciprocate between the upper position of the support plate and the rotational attachment position along the shift rail, a shift drive unit, a main supply screw connected to communicate with the drying unit to receive by-products discharged from the drying unit and transfer them to the rotational attachment position, and a supply hopper connected to the end of the main supply screw to store by-products, a drop opening formed at the bottom of the supply hopper for dropping by-products, a recovery tank positioned at the bottom of the drop opening for receiving the dropped by-products, and a re-transfer screw that transfers the by-products received in the recovery tank to the main supply screw to combine them. When a piece of wood, which is gripped and rotated by the adhesive coating unit, moves along the shift rail to the rotational attachment position, the by-products transferred to the supply hopper through the main supply screw may fall through the drop opening and repeatedly come into contact with and be attached to the outer surface of the piece of wood. The by-products that are not attached are recovered into the recovery tank and then rejoin the main supply screw through the re-transfer screw to be supplied in a circulating manner.
[0030] Next, the above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include an insertion fixing unit that receives a piece of lumber with by-products attached at the rotary attachment unit and maintains its shape. The shift rail of the rotary attachment unit may be formed to extend to an insertion position where the insertion fixing unit is driven. The shift drive unit may be driven to reciprocate between the upper position of the support plate and the insertion position via the rotary attachment position along the shift rail. The insertion fixing unit may include a C-shaped transparent tube positioned at the bottom of the insertion position and formed with an open top to receive the piece of lumber, and a position sensing sensor mounted on at least one of the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip to detect the upper edge of the C-shaped transparent tube. The above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include a control unit that transmits a driving signal to a driving configuration including the shift drive unit, a linear actuator, and a rotary drive unit. The control unit can output a driving signal to the rotation drive unit when the square piece, which is gripped and rotated by the adhesive application unit, is moved to an insertion position along the shift rail, thereby rotating the square piece so that the position detection sensor faces downward, and output driving signals to the shift drive unit and the second linear actuator, respectively, when the upper edge of the C-shaped transparent tube is detected through the position detection sensor, thereby enabling horizontal movement and side-by-side spacing adjustment movement so that the square piece corresponds to the opening center of the C-shaped transparent tube. The invention is characterized by outputting a driving signal to the first linear actuator in an aligned state to move the square member downward, and outputting a driving signal to the second linear actuator when the square member is close to the upper opening of the C-shaped transparent tube to cause the first C-shaped grip and the second C-shaped grip to move apart from each other, thereby causing the square member to fall and be inserted into the C-shaped transparent tube by gravity.
[0031] Next, the above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include a flat plate cover that is slidably coupled in the longitudinal direction to close the upper opening of the C-shaped transparent tube. The C-shaped transparent tube may be formed with a C-shaped cross-section that is open at the top, consisting of a bottom surface extended in the longitudinal direction and a pair of side walls that protrude upward from both sides of the bottom surface and face each other. The flat plate cover may be positioned to move linearly along the longitudinal direction of the transparent tube while being supported in close contact with a straight guide surface formed at each of the upper edges of the pair of side walls. A linear protrusion may be formed on the bottom surface of the flat plate cover, protruding toward the internal space of the transparent tube, extending in the longitudinal direction, and contacting the outer surface of the timber. The linear protrusion may be positioned perpendicular to the direction of movement of the flat plate cover so that it moves relative to the outer surface of the timber during the movement of the flat plate cover, thereby scraping off by-products attached to the outer surface. A plurality of openings may be formed in the aforementioned pair of side walls at spaced positions along the longitudinal direction so that by-products separated from the outer surface by the linear protrusions may be discharged to the outside of the transparent tube through the openings. A clamp may be further provided to simultaneously press the upper surface of the flat cover and the outer side of the transparent tube while the flat cover completely covers the upper part of the transparent tube, thereby restricting the outer shape of the timber by the bottom surface of the flat cover and the side walls while the timber is contained inside the transparent tube. The drying is maintained while fixed by the clamp. Effects of the invention
[0033] According to the eco-friendly building material processing automation system of the present invention, by-products generated during the wood processing process can be recovered, transported, colored, and dried within the same process and utilized as an attachment material for the outer surface of timbers, thereby eliminating the need for a separate by-product processing process and improving resource utilization.
[0034] In addition, according to the present invention, by repeatedly supplying and attaching by-products while an adhesive is applied to the outer surface of a timber, an outer layer having thickness can be formed on the outer surface of the timber, thereby enabling the manufacture of a building material having a consistent appearance without the need for a separate exterior material.
[0035] In addition, according to the present invention, the processing unit, recovery unit, coloring unit, and drying unit are continuously connected, and the processed by-product is configured to be circulated and supplied through the rotary attachment unit, thereby enabling the entire process from wood processing to the formation of the outer layer to be performed continuously within a single system, which has the effect of improving process efficiency.
[0036] In addition, according to the present invention, since the processes of adhesive application, rotational attachment, positional movement, and insertion can be performed continuously while holding the timber, there is no need for realignment or re-fixing between processes, and there is an effect of enabling automated continuous production.
[0037] Furthermore, according to the present invention, since by-products are attached to the outer surface while the timber is rotated about the longitudinal central axis by a rotary drive unit, there is an effect of forming a relatively uniform attachment layer in the circumferential direction of the timber.
[0038] In addition, according to the present invention, the position of a piece of wood is aligned using a position sensing sensor and a plurality of driving units, then transferred to an insertion fixing unit, and the piece of wood is inserted into a transparent tube by gravity, thereby improving insertion precision and enabling automated alignment and insertion.
[0039] In addition, according to the present invention, by-products excessively attached to the outer surface of a piece of wood can be removed through a flat plate cover that slides with a transparent tube and a linear protrusion formed on its bottom surface, and the removed by-products can be discharged through an opening formed in the side wall, thereby having the effect of uniformly organizing the outer shape.
[0040] In addition, according to the present invention, by fixing the flat cover and the transparent tube by pressing them with a clamp, drying can be performed while maintaining the outer shape of the square material, thereby improving the shape stability and quality of the final product.
[0041] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the wood processing, byproduct treatment, outer layer formation, shape finishing, and drying processes are integrated into a single automated system, thereby ensuring consistency in the production process, improving work efficiency, and enhancing the productivity of building material manufacturing. [0082] The above drying unit (400) may include a hot air inlet (420) formed on the upper side of the rotating drum (310) to avoid the color inlet hole (340) and to supply hot air into the interior, and a hot air blower (410) connected to the hot air inlet (420) to supply hot air.
[0083] Before being discharged from the rotating drum (310), it may come into contact with hot air supplied through the hot air inlet (420). It is characterized in that the byproduct (1300) is agitated and dried according to the rotation of the rotating plate (320) of the coloring part (300), and then discharged to the outside through the discharge port.
[0084] In this embodiment, the process of cutting wood (1100) to form timber (1200) and the series of configurations for recovering and processing by-products (1300) generated during the process within the same system are described.
[0085] The wood (1100) is lifted onto the upper part of the input platform (111) by an external supply device or a worker, and the input platform (111) is formed long to align with the length direction of the wood (1100) so that the wood (1100) can be moved while being stably supported. Guide plates (112) placed on both sides of the input platform (111) serve to limit the left and right positions of the wood (1100), and the spacing between the guide plates (112) is formed to be adjustable so that wood (1100) of various widths can be accommodated. Accordingly, the wood (1100) maintains a constant centerline without shifting to one side during the transport process.
[0086] The wood (1100) is moved forward by a conveying roller (113) arranged on a feeder (111), and each conveying roller (113) is connected to rotate in the same direction and operates to push the wood (1100). At this time, the outer surface of the roller may be formed with a rubber layer or roughened to prevent slipping, thereby ensuring contact friction with the wood (1100).
[0087] The conveyed wood (1100) is cut in the longitudinal direction by a circular cutting blade (114) located at the front. The cutting blade rotates at high speed around a rotation axis and is positioned in a direction perpendicular to the direction of travel of the wood (1100) to divide the wood (1100) into square timbers (1200) of a certain width. To prevent the wood (1100) from shaking up and down during cutting, a support plate (120) is placed in front of the cutting area to support the lower part of the wood (1100). This ensures that the cut surface remains constant and the shape of the square timbers (1200) is formed stably.
[0088] During this cutting process, unnecessary scraps are generated on both edges of the wood (1100), and these scraps are fed into a scrap shredding section (130) located downstream of the cutting blade. The scraps are guided to a shredding passage by gravity or along a guide surface without a separate conveying device, and the shredding passage can be formed as a closed space so that the scraps do not fly out.
[0089] Inside the shredding passage, a pair of shredding rollers are positioned facing each other, with sharp cutting blades formed at regular intervals on the outer surface of each roller. The two shredding rollers rotate in opposite directions to feed and finely cut scraps; as the scraps repeatedly pass between the cutting blades, they are gradually broken down into smaller pieces. The shredding rollers rotate via a drive shaft, which is connected to an external motor to provide stable rotational force.
[0090] The shredded by-product (1300) falls downward through a drop opening (131) formed at the bottom of the shredding passage. The drop opening (131) is positioned to correspond exactly to the lower recovery section (200), so that the by-product (1300) does not scatter to the outside but flows directly into the collection container (210).
[0091] The collection container (210) is formed in the shape of a container with an open top, and the inner bottom surface has a slanted structure inclined in one direction. Accordingly, the fallen by-product (1300) naturally moves in one direction, and the flow of the by-product (1300) is induced without a separate complex conveying device. The collection container (210) may be formed of a metal material to withstand wear and impact, and sufficient space is secured inside so that the by-product (1300) accumulates without the flow being blocked.
[0092] A transfer pipe (220) is connected to the inclined lower portion of the collection container (210), and a screw having a spiral structure is placed inside the transfer pipe (220). The screw extends along the longitudinal direction and transfers by pushing out by-products (1300) while rotating in accordance with the rotation of the drive motor. At this time, the rotation of the screw is continuous so that the by-products (1300) are transferred to the next process at a constant speed, and the inside of the transfer pipe (220) is formed smoothly so that the by-products (1300) are not compressed or clogged during transfer.
[0093] The end of the transfer pipe (220) is connected to the rotating drum (310) of the coloring section (300), and this connection can be formed as a sealed structure to prevent the byproduct (1300) from leaking out. The rotating drum (310) is formed as a cylindrical structure having a space to accommodate the byproduct (1300) inside, and is installed to be rotatable by an external support structure. An inlet is formed on one side of the drum so that the byproduct (1300) delivered through the transfer pipe (220) is naturally fed into the interior.
[0094] Inside the rotating drum (310), a concave rotating plate (320) is rotatably arranged around a central axis. The rotating plate (320) is rotated by a drive motor, and as the plate rotates, the byproduct (1300) repeatedly spreads out in a circumferential direction and then gathers again. A plurality of stirring pins (330) are formed protruding from the inner surface of the rotating plate (320), and these stirring pins (330) perform the function of lifting and dropping the byproduct (1300) during rotation. Due to this repeated dropping motion, the byproduct (1300) is continuously flipped over and uniformly mixed.
[0095] A color inlet hole (340) is formed on one side of the upper part of the rotating drum (310), and a color spray nozzle (320) is positioned at this location to spray the color liquid into the drum. The color liquid is finely dispersed by the spray pressure and adheres to the surface of the byproduct (1300), and is spread evenly over the entire byproduct (1300) by the action of the rotating plate (320) and the stirring pin (330). At this time, the spray direction is set to face the area where the byproduct (1300) moves actively, so that the color liquid is not concentrated in a specific area.
[0096] Meanwhile, a hot air inlet (420) is formed on the upper side of the rotating drum (310), and this inlet is connected to a hot air blower (410) to supply heated air into the interior. As the hot air passes through the interior of the drum, it removes moisture from the byproduct (1300) coated with color solution, and at the same time, the byproduct (1300) is continuously turned over by the stirring action of the rotating plate (320) so that it does not stick together and is dried. After circulating inside, the hot air can be discharged to the outside or partially reused.
[0097] An outlet is formed at the bottom of the rotating drum (310), and the byproduct (1300) that has been colored and dried is discharged to the outside through this outlet. The discharge can be designed to occur naturally by the rotation direction and internal shape of the rotating plate (320).
[0098] With this configuration, the byproduct (1300) generated during the wood (1100) cutting process is immediately recovered and continuously processed through transport, coloring, and drying processes. Since this process is carried out without interruption within a single system, no separate storage or re-feeding process is required, and the efficiency and stability of the entire process are ensured.
[0100] Next
[0101] The byproduct (1300) formed in the scrap cutting section (130) of the processing section (100) is discharged downward through the drop opening (131) and transferred to the recovery section (200), and the eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include an adhesive application section (500) that applies adhesive to the outer surface of the timber (1200).
[0102] The square timber (1200) cut in the processing section (100) can be transported forward along the support plate (120) by the transfer roller (113) and supplied to the adhesive application section (500).
[0103] The adhesive coating portion (500) may be spaced apart in front of the processing portion (100) and formed to face each other on both sides of the square timber (1200), and may be connected to each of the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510), with a portion of the outer surface of both sides of the square timber (1200) accommodated in an open inner space. It may include an L-shaped link structure comprising a vertical link (522) that extends in a vertical direction to guide lifting and lowering movement, and a horizontal link (521) that is connected to the lower end of the vertical link (522) and extends in a horizontal direction to move the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) closer to or further apart from each other, a first linear actuator coupled to the vertical link (522) to move the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) vertically, and a second linear actuator coupled to the horizontal link (521) to move the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) closer to or further apart from each other.
[0104] The assembly may include an integrated drive unit that moves the positions of the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) in a combined upward and horizontal direction, a rotational drive unit that rotates the square board (1200) around a longitudinal central axis by including a rotational shaft connected to each of the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) and connected to rotate synchronously with respect to the same rotational axis, and a drive motor connected to the rotational shaft, a plurality of adhesive spray nozzles (530) positioned above between the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) to spray adhesive toward the outer surface of the square board (1200), an adhesive storage container and a supply pipe that supply adhesive to the adhesive spray nozzles (530), and a position sensing sensor positioned at a position corresponding to the lower part of the adhesive spray nozzles (530) to detect the state in which the square board (1200) is aligned at the center of the application position.
[0105] The first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) are in a raised state to secure a space for the timber (1200) to be transported, and when the position detection sensor detects that the timber (1200) is aligned with the application position, they can be moved downward by the first linear actuator. They can be moved closer to each other by the second linear actuator to grip the timber (1200). They can be moved upward by the first linear actuator. While the timber (1200) is rotated around the longitudinal central axis by the rotation drive unit in the raised state, the adhesive sprayed from the adhesive spray nozzle (530) can be applied to the outer surface of the timber (1200).
[0106] The above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include a rotary attachment unit (600) for attaching a byproduct (1300) discharged from the drying unit (400) to a piece of lumber (1200) coated with adhesive.
[0107] The above-mentioned rotary attachment part (600) may support the L-shaped link structure by being slidably coupled to the shift rail (610) and extending horizontally to the upper end of the vertical link (522) of the adhesive coating part (500). The above-mentioned rotary attachment part (600) may be configured to support the L-shaped link structure by being driven to reciprocate between the upper position of the support plate (120) and the rotary attachment position (910) along the shift rail (610), and may be configured to It may include a supply hopper (632) connected to the end of the main supply screw (621) for storing by-products (1300), a drop opening (131) formed at the bottom of the supply hopper (632) for dropping by-products (1300), a recovery tank (631) positioned at the bottom of the drop opening (131) for receiving the dropped by-products (1300), and a re-transfer screw (622) for transferring the by-products (1300) received in the recovery tank (631) to the main supply screw (621) for joining.
[0108] When the square timber (1200), which is gripped and rotated by the adhesive coating unit (500), is moved along the shift rail (610) to the rotational attachment position (910), the byproduct (1300) transferred to the supply hopper (632) through the main supply screw (621) can fall through the drop opening (131) and repeatedly come into contact with and be attached to the outer surface of the square timber (1200). The byproduct (1300) that is not attached is recovered to the recovery tank (631) and then rejoined to the main supply screw (621) through the re-transfer screw (622) to be supplied in a circulating manner.
[0109] In this embodiment, the process is described with a focus on a series of steps in which an adhesive is applied to the outer surface of a square member (1200), followed by the attachment of a byproduct (1300). This process is performed while the previously formed square member (1200) is continuously transported from the processing unit (100), and is characterized by the position control, gripping, rotation, and transport of the square member (1200) being linked within a single structure.
[0110] The square timber (1200) cut in the processing section (100) is moved forward along the support plate (120) by the transfer roller (113), and when it reaches a certain position, it enters the adhesive application section (500) area. At this time, the square timber (1200) moves along a straight path while maintaining a horizontal state, and its position is maintained at a constant level for gripping in the subsequent process.
[0111] A pair of C-shaped grips accessible from both sides of the square timber (1200) are positioned in the adhesive application section (500). These grips are formed with an open internal structure so that they can contact parts of the outer surfaces of both sides of the square timber (1200) in a manner that wraps around them, and parts of the upper and lower portions of the square timber (1200) remain exposed to the outside even when gripped. This shape is intended to ensure that the subsequent application of adhesive and attachment of byproducts (1300) are not hindered.
[0112] Each U-shaped grip (510) is supported by an L-shaped link structure formed by combining a vertical link (522) and a horizontal link (521). The vertical link (522) extends in the vertical direction, and the horizontal link (521) extends horizontally from the bottom of the vertical link (522) to support the grip. This structure enables the grip to move both vertically and horizontally.
[0113] A first linear actuator is coupled to the vertical link (522) to move the grip in the up and down direction, and a second linear actuator is coupled to the horizontal link (521) to move the grip in the left and right directions to move it closer or further away. By operating these two driving elements simultaneously or sequentially, the position of the grip can be controlled in a complex manner in space.
[0114] Additionally, each grip is coupled with a rotation axis connected to share the same rotation axis, and this rotation axis is rotated by a drive motor. The rotation axis can be configured to pass through the grip or be connected from the side, and by connecting the two grips so that they rotate synchronously around the same axis, the square piece (1200) held by the grip rotates around the longitudinal center axis. At this time, the rotation axis is supported by a bearing to minimize vibration or eccentricity during rotation.
[0115] The adhesive is sprayed onto the outer surface of the square timber (1200) through a plurality of spray nozzles positioned above the grips. Each nozzle may be arranged at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction of the square timber (1200), and the spraying direction is set to face the center of the square timber (1200) so that the adhesive is evenly applied to the entire circumference of the rotating square timber (1200). The adhesive is delivered to each nozzle through a supply pipe from an external storage container, and the supply pressure and spray amount can be controlled by a control device.
[0116] In order to ensure that the square piece (1200) is accurately positioned at the application location, a position detection sensor is placed at the bottom of the adhesive spray nozzle (530). This sensor detects whether the square piece (1200) has reached a position that aligns with the nozzle centerline, and the grip is driven according to the detection signal. The sensor may be configured as an optical or proximity detection type and serves to minimize positional deviation of the square piece (1200).
[0117] During the operation process, the grip waits in a raised state, and when the timber (1200) reaches the correct position, it lowers to adjust its position to match the height of the timber (1200). Subsequently, driven by the horizontal link (521), the two grips approach each other and tighten to grip both sides of the timber (1200). At this time, the gripping force is set to prevent the timber (1200) from slipping while rotating, and is adjusted so that the timber (1200) is not damaged by excessive pressure.
[0118] With the square timber (1200) held, the grip moves upward again to a position that is separated from the lower structure without interference, and then the rotation drive unit operates to rotate the square timber (1200). During rotation, adhesive is continuously sprayed from the upper spray nozzle and evenly applied to the entire outer surface of the square timber (1200).
[0119] The square timber (1200) with the adhesive applied is transferred to the rotating attachment part (600) while maintaining the same gripping state. To this end, a shift rail (610) extending horizontally is formed on the upper part of the vertical link (522), and the entire link structure is coupled to move along this rail. The shift drive unit may be configured as a motor and gear or belt drive, and reciprocates the link structure along a certain path.
[0120] A structure for supplying by-products (1300) delivered from the drying unit (400) is provided at the rotating attachment position (910). The main supply screw (621) connected to the drying unit (400) conveys the by-products (1300) forward by the internal screw rotation, and the conveyed by-products (1300) are delivered to the supply hopper (632) located at the top. The supply hopper (632) is formed with an open bottom, and the by-products (1300) stored inside fall downward through the drop opening (131) by gravity.
[0121] At the rotational attachment position (910), the timber (1200) remains in a rotated state, and by-products (1300) falling from the top repeatedly come into contact with the outer surface of the timber (1200) and are attached to the adhesive layer. During this process, any by-products (1300) that are not attached fall into the recovery tank (631) at the bottom.
[0122] The by-product (1300) collected in the recovery tank (631) is transferred back to the main supply screw (621) by the re-transfer screw (622), thereby forming a circulation structure for the by-product (1300). The re-transfer screw (622) also has a spiral structure and rotates by motor drive to pull the by-product (1300) back up. Due to this circulation supply structure, the by-product (1300) is used repeatedly without waste and is continuously supplied until it is sufficiently attached to the outer surface of the square timber (1200).
[0123] Through this series of processes, the timber (1200) forms an outer layer with the byproduct (1300) uniformly attached while the adhesive is applied, and can be continuously transferred to subsequent processes.
[0126] Next, the above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include an insertion fixing part (700) that receives a square timber (1200) with a byproduct (1300) attached from the rotating attachment part (600) and maintains its shape.
[0127] The shift rail (610) of the above-mentioned rotating attachment part (600) can be extended to the insertion position (920) where the above-mentioned insertion fixing part (700) is driven.
[0128] The shift drive unit can be driven to reciprocate between the upper position of the support plate (120) and the insertion position (920) via the rotational attachment position (910) along the shift rail (610).
[0129] The above insertion fixing part (700) may include a C-shaped transparent tube (710) that is positioned at the bottom of the insertion position (920) and formed with an open top to accommodate a square member (1200), and a position sensing sensor mounted on at least one of the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) to detect the upper edge of the C-shaped transparent tube (710).
[0130] The above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include a control unit (800) that transmits a driving signal to a driving configuration including a shift driving unit, a linear actuator, and a rotary driving unit.
[0131] The control unit (800) can output a driving signal to the rotation drive unit while the square member (1200), which is gripped and rotated by the adhesive application unit (500), is moved to the insertion position (920) along the shift rail (610) to rotate the square member (1200) so that the position detection sensor faces downward, and output driving signals to the shift drive unit and the second linear actuator, respectively, while the upper edge of the C-shaped transparent tube (710) is detected through the position detection sensor, so that the square member (1200) moves horizontally and moves to adjust the distance between both sides so that it corresponds to the center of the opening of the C-shaped transparent tube (710).
[0132] The method is characterized by outputting a driving signal to the first linear actuator in an aligned state to move the square member (1200) downward, and outputting a driving signal to the second linear actuator in a state where the square member (1200) is close to the upper opening of the C-shaped transparent tube (710) to cause the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) to move apart from each other, thereby causing the square member (1200) to fall and be inserted into the C-shaped transparent tube (710) by gravity.
[0133] In this embodiment, the process of transferring a square timber (1200) with a byproduct (1300) attached to its outer surface to an insertion fixing part (700) to maintain it in a certain shape, and aligning and inserting it is described. This process is characterized by being performed continuously while maintaining the structure of the C-shaped grip (510) that holds the square timber (1200) in the previous process, and is performed without separate re-grabbing.
[0134] The square member (1200) that has completed the rotational attachment process is held by a grip and moved to an insertion position (920) along a shift rail (610) formed on the top of a vertical link (522). This shift rail (610) is formed to extend beyond the rotational attachment position (910) to a further extended section, and the cross-section of the rail is formed in a straight guide surface or groove shape to allow the link structure to move in a straight line without shaking. A sliding block or roller support structure is attached to the rail to support the load of the entire link structure and enable smooth movement.
[0135] The shift drive unit may include a motor and a gear or belt transmission structure, and reciprocates the link structure along the rail. At this time, the movement path is set to sequentially connect the upper position of the processing unit (100), the rotational attachment position (910), and the insertion position (920), and is controlled so that stopping and alignment are possible at each position.
[0136] A C-shaped transparent tube (710) for accommodating a square timber (1200) is fixedly positioned at the bottom of the insertion position (920). This transparent tube (710) is formed in the shape of a channel extending in the longitudinal direction, with the bottom having a flat bottom surface and side walls facing each other formed on both sides. The top has an open structure so that the square timber (1200) can be freely inserted from the outside. The transparent tube (710) may be formed of a transparent synthetic resin or reinforced plastic material so that the internal state can be checked from the outside, and has a rigidity of at least a certain thickness so that deformation does not occur even under repeated impacts.
[0137] For accurate insertion of the timber (1200), at least one of the grips is equipped with a position sensing sensor. This sensor is installed on the lower or inner side of the grip and positioned to face downward, so as to detect a relative position with respect to the upper edge of the transparent tube (710). The sensor may be composed of a light sensor or a distance measuring sensor, and recognizes the position through a reflected signal or a change in distance when it reaches the edge of the transparent tube (710).
[0138] The control unit (800) is a device that integrally controls the entire drive unit and transmits drive signals to the shift drive unit, the first and second linear actuators, and the rotary drive unit, respectively. The control unit (800) operates each drive unit sequentially according to a pre-set order and performs a position correction operation based on a signal received from a position detection sensor.
[0139] After reaching the insertion position (920), the rotary drive unit first operates to rotate the square member (1200). At this time, the rotation angle is adjusted so that the sensor is accurately directed downward, thereby enabling the sensor to recognize the upper edge of the transparent tube (710). The rotation can be implemented with a drive structure including a reduction gear so that the rotation is performed without excessive shaking.
[0140] When the sensor detects the upper edge of the transparent tube (710), the control unit (800) operates the shift drive unit and the second linear actuator simultaneously or sequentially to finely adjust the position of the square member (1200). The shift drive unit moves the entire structure in the left-right or front-back directions, and the second linear actuator adjusts the distance between the grips to align the center position of the square member (1200). By combining these two operations, the center line of the square member (1200) is aligned to coincide with the opening center of the transparent tube (710).
[0141] When alignment is complete, the first linear actuator operates to lower the entire grip. During the descent, the square member (1200) moves in a vertical direction and comes down to a position close to the upper opening of the transparent tube (710). During this process, the descent speed is set relatively gently so that the square member (1200) does not collide with the transparent tube (710).
[0142] When the square member (1200) is in close proximity to the top of the transparent tube (710), the second linear actuator is activated so that the two grips move apart from each other. At this time, the gripping force acting on the square member (1200) is released, and the square member (1200), which is no longer supported, falls downward due to gravity. The falling distance is designed to be kept short so that the square member (1200) is stably seated inside the transparent tube (710).
[0143] The square member (1200) inserted into the transparent tube (710) is supported on the bottom surface and maintained in a state where its outer surface is restricted by the side wall. This maintains the outer shape with the byproduct (1300) attached, making it easier to shape and fix it in subsequent processes.
[0144] This insertion process is structured to combine sensor-based position recognition and multi-axis drive control, enabling the timber (1200) to be automatically inserted into the correct position. Additionally, since the transfer and insertion are performed by utilizing the existing gripping structure as is, no separate realignment or re-grabbing process is required, and the continuity of the process is maintained.
[0147] Next, the above-described eco-friendly building material processing automation system may further include a flat plate cover that is slidably coupled in the longitudinal direction to close the upper opening of the above-described C-shaped transparent tube (710).
[0148] The above C-shaped transparent tube (710) may be formed with a bottom surface extended in the longitudinal direction and a pair of side walls protruding upward from both sides of the bottom surface and facing each other, and may be formed with a cross-sectional C-shape with an open top.
[0149] The flat plate cover can be positioned to move linearly along the length of the transparent tube (710) while being supported in close contact with the straight guide surface formed at the upper edge of each of the pair of side walls.
[0150] A linear protrusion may be formed on the bottom surface of the flat plate cover, protruding toward the internal space of the transparent tube (710), extending in the longitudinal direction, and in contact with the outer surface of the square member (1200).
[0151] The above linear protrusion may be positioned perpendicular to the direction of movement of the flat plate cover so as to move relative to the outer surface of the timber (1200) as the flat plate cover moves, thereby scraping off by-products (1300) attached to the outer surface.
[0152] A plurality of openings may be formed in the above pair of side walls at spaced positions along the longitudinal direction so that by-products (1300) separated from the outer surface by the linear protrusions may be discharged to the outside of the transparent tube (710) through the openings.
[0153] A clamp is further provided that simultaneously presses the upper surface of the flat cover and the outer side of the transparent tube (710) while the flat cover completely covers the upper part of the transparent tube (710), so that the outer shape of the square member (1200) can be restricted by the bottom surface of the flat cover and the side wall while the square member (1200) is accommodated inside the transparent tube (710). It is characterized by being configured so that drying is maintained while fixed by the clamp.
[0154] In this embodiment, a structure for organizing the outer shape of a piece of wood (1200) inserted inside a transparent tube (710) and simultaneously maintaining a stable dry state is described. This process is performed in a stage after insertion is completed, and serves to uniformly adjust the thickness of the byproduct (1300) attached to the outer surface and stably fix the final shape.
[0155] The transparent tube (710) into which the square timber (1200) is inserted has a channel shape that extends in the longitudinal direction, a flat bottom surface is formed at the bottom, and side walls facing each other are formed on both sides. These side walls protrude upward to a certain height and serve to restrict the outer surface of the square timber (1200) from the side. The transparent tube (710) is formed of a transparent material so that the internal state can be checked from the outside, and has sufficient rigidity so that deformation does not occur even with repeated friction and impact.
[0156] A flat cover for covering the upper opening of the transparent tube (710) is coupled so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction and is supported along a straight guide surface formed at the top of the side wall of the transparent tube (710). This guide surface is formed flat and straight so that the cover can move while maintaining a constant height without tilting. Both edges of the cover slide in close contact with the guide surface, and if necessary, a low-friction coating or roller structure may be added to reduce friction.
[0157] A linear protrusion extending along the longitudinal direction is formed on the bottom surface of the flat cover. This protrusion is positioned to protrude a certain depth into the transparent tube (710) and come into contact with the outer surface of the square member (1200). The cross-section is formed in a relatively non-sharp straight or curved shape to scrape the outer surface without causing excessive damage. The material of the protrusion may be composed of metal or reinforced plastic with excellent wear resistance.
[0158] Since this linear protrusion is positioned perpendicular to the direction of movement of the cover, when the cover moves in the longitudinal direction, the protrusion moves relative to the outer surface of the timber (1200). During this process, by-products (1300) that are excessively attached to the outer surface are physically pushed away or scraped off by the protrusion. In particular, even if the thickness of the by-products (1300) is not uniform, the protrusion repeatedly contacts them, and the relatively protruding parts are removed first, so that the entire outer surface is smoothed to a uniform thickness.
[0159] Multiple openings are formed at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction in the side wall. These openings are formed in a penetrating shape from the inside to the outside, allowing by-products (1300) removed by linear protrusions to naturally flow out. The size of the openings is formed such that by-products (1300) can be discharged without blockage, and a simple blocking structure may be added to the outside as needed to prevent foreign substances from flowing back into the interior.
[0160] After the cover moves from one end of the transparent tube (710) to the other and the outer surface is finished along the entire length, the cover reaches a position where it completely covers the top of the transparent tube (710). In this state, a clamp is operated to secure the cover and the transparent tube (710). The clamp is formed to simultaneously press the outer structure of the transparent tube (710) and the upper surface of the cover, and a lever-type or screw-type compression structure may be used.
[0161] When the cover is secured by a clamp, the bottom surface and side walls of the cover restrict the outer surface of the timber (1200) from all sides. This prevents the shape of the outer surface from being further deformed and prevents by-products (1300) from flowing or being rearranged while drying is taking place inside. Additionally, since a sealed state is formed, residual moisture inside is slowly discharged to the outside, maintaining a stable drying environment.
[0162] With this structure, the inserted timber (1200) is fixed with its outer surface uniformly smoothed and can maintain a stable state without shape change during the drying process. In particular, since scraping, shape restriction, and fixing are performed as a single continuous operation, a building material with a consistent external appearance can be obtained without a separate post-processing step.
[0163] The automation system according to the present embodiment may be designed so that the position alignment and transfer heights between each component correspond to each other in order to maintain continuity between each process. For example, the height of the upper surface of the support plate (120) of the processing section (100) and the position where the square timber (1200) is gripped in the adhesive application section (500) may be arranged to coincide on the same horizontal line or within a predetermined range, so that the square timber (1200) can be naturally transferred to the next process without falling. In addition, the rotating attachment section (600) and the insertion fixing section (700) are also arranged stepwise based on the same reference height so that interference does not occur during movement while the square timber (1200) is gripped.
[0164] Additionally, in order to align the longitudinal central axis of the square member (1200) with the rotation axis of the rotation drive unit, the inner contact surfaces of the first C-shaped grip (510) and the second C-shaped grip (510) may be formed with a curvature or flat surface corresponding to the outer circumference shape of the square member (1200). Accordingly, when gripping, the square member (1200) does not deviate to one side and maintains its center, and eccentricity can be prevented during rotation. If necessary, an elastic pad or protrusions may be formed on the inner side of the grip to increase friction.
[0165] In order to prevent the adhesive from concentrating in a specific location during the adhesive application process, the adhesive spray nozzle (530) may be formed to allow for adjustable spray pressure and spray angle, and each nozzle may be independently controlled to open and close. Accordingly, by adjusting the spray amount in conjunction with the rotation speed of the square member (1200), an adhesive layer of uniform thickness is formed over the entire outer surface.
[0166] In the process where the byproduct (1300) is attached to the outer surface at the rotating attachment part (600), the rotational speed of the timber (1200) and the amount of byproduct (1300) falling can be set to correspond to each other. Since the byproduct (1300) may not be stably attached to the outer surface and may detach if the rotational speed is excessively fast, the rotational speed can be adjusted according to the particle size of the byproduct (1300) and the viscosity of the adhesive. Additionally, a slide plate or gate that adjusts the opening size can be added to the dropping opening (131) of the supply hopper (632) to control the amount of falling.
[0167] In the section where the re-transfer screw (622) and the main supply screw (621) merge, an inclined guide surface or guide plate may be additionally formed to prevent the byproduct (1300) from flowing back or becoming blocked. This allows the recovered byproduct (1300) to be smoothly transferred back to the upper section, and prevents the flow from becoming stagnant during the circulation process.
[0168] In the process of inserting the square timber (1200) into the transparent tube (710) from the insertion fixing part (700), a cushioning pad may be additionally provided on the bottom surface of the transparent tube (710) to mitigate the impact when falling. This cushioning pad is formed of an elastic material to absorb the impact generated when the square timber (1200) falls and prevents by-products (1300) attached to the outer surface from falling off.
[0169] In addition, to account for cases where an error occurs during the alignment process using a position detection sensor, the control unit (800) may be configured to repeat multiple fine adjustment operations. That is, instead of descending immediately after sensor detection, the horizontal movement and spacing adjustment are repeated so that the descending operation is performed only when the center alignment falls within the allowable error range.
[0170] In the scraping process using the flat cover, the load or clamp pressure of the cover can be adjusted so that the pressure with which the linear protrusion contacts the outer surface of the square member (1200) is maintained at a constant level. Since the outer surface may be damaged if the contact pressure of the protrusion is excessive, the appropriate contact force is maintained through the movement resistance or elastic support structure of the cover.
[0171] Additionally, to prevent by-products (1300) discharged through an opening formed in the side wall of the transparent tube (710) from scattering outward, a simple blocking plate or a downwardly inclined discharge guide may be added to the outside of the opening. Accordingly, the discharged by-products (1300) are guided to gather in a certain direction, thereby maintaining the cleanliness of the work environment.
[0172] Finally, while drying proceeds while fixed by a clamp, a predetermined fine ventilation structure may be formed inside the transparent tube (710) to allow air circulation. This ventilation structure is designed to enable the inflow of external air or the discharge of internal moisture to improve drying efficiency, while simultaneously minimizing the inflow of external foreign substances.
