Abstract

This utility model relates to devices for purifying absorbents used in gas purification processes at oil refineries and gas processing plants, specifically to units for removing heat-stable salts from amine solutions using electrodialysis. The unit for continuous purification of an amine solution comprises an electrodialysis apparatus with selective membranes for separating the anions of heat-stable salts. The unit is designed to be connected to the main amine acid gas treatment system via a bypass. The unit's inlet is connected to the amine circulation line for partial flow recovery, and the outlet is connected to the purified solution return line to the main system. The unit operates autonomously, ensuring continuous salt removal without altering the process parameters of the main gas treatment system. Ensuring the continuity of the amine solution purification process without stopping the main technological cycle, reducing the corrosive activity of the solution, restoring its absorption capacity and reducing the volume of waste generated by concentrating impurities in a small volume of brine.
