A COMPOSITION BASED ON PLANT COMPONENTS FOR NORMALIZING INTESTINAL FUNCTION

Abstract

This utility model relates to the food industry, specifically to the development and production of functional foods and herbal compositions based on natural raw materials containing dietary fiber and biologically active substances of plant origin. The objective of the utility model is to create a herbal composition based on natural fruit and vegetable components that has a comprehensive effect on the gastrointestinal tract, providing gentle and physiologically natural normalization of intestinal function through an optimal combination of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber, as well as natural biologically active substances. The technical result is gentle stimulation of intestinal peristalsis, an increase in the volume of intestinal contents, an improvement in their consistency, and facilitation of natural bowel movements without irritating the mucous membrane and without the use of synthetic laxatives.A composition based on plant components for normalizing intestinal function is proposed, including dried and crushed apples, raisins, prunes and pumpkin, apple pectin and purified water, in the following ratio of components, wt.%: apples - 25-30; raisins - 10-12; prunes - 20-25; pumpkins - 15-20; apple pectin - 1-3; purified water - the rest.
