Abstract

This utility model pertains to mechanical engineering, specifically to equipment for the mechanical processing of materials by cutting, and can be used for cutting parts of various configurations from sheet materials, primarily metal, aluminum, plastic, and wood. The vertical band saw machine comprises a frame, a drive mechanism, drive and guide wheels, an endless band saw blade, and a tensioning mechanism. The frame is made of a profile tube and is equipped with a work table with adjustable tilt angle, a frame for adjusting the cutting height, linear guides, and a combined control panel mounted for movement along the work table and radial rotation. The drive mechanism is a worm gear connected to the drive wheel. The drive and guide wheels form a three-wheel arrangement.The technical result is an increase in the technological versatility of the machine, improvement of control conditions, an increase in the working processing area and an increase in the efficiency of equipment operation.
