The method for obtaining pyridine-2-aminium 7-hydroxy-6-(7-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3-dihydrofuro[3,4-c]pyridin-1-yl)-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carboxylate is based on the interaction of 7-hydroxy-6-(7-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3-dihydrofuro[3,4-c]pyridin-1-yl)-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carboxylic acid in water; an equimolar amount of the corresponding pyridin-2-amine was added while stirring at room temperature. The reaction mixture was kept for 24 hours, the formed precipitate was filtered off, washed with water and dried in vacuo.
