Abstract
This utility model relates to the refractory and chemical industries and can be used for the repair and lining of high-temperature heating furnaces and the protection of equipment and structures from aggressive environments. The technical result is the replacement of metallurgical slag with a more accessible and technologically advanced man-made raw material in the form of refractory brick scrap while maintaining high refractoriness, heat resistance, and strength. Environmental issues are addressed through the recycling of man-made waste while expanding the refractory raw material base. This technical result is achieved by creating a self-baking, chemically resistant refractory mass for lining the surfaces of high-temperature heating furnaces, comprising aluminum and natural magnesium sulfate, characterized in that it additionally contains aluminosilicate brick scrap, periclase-chromite brick scrap, and clay, in the following component ratios (weight).%: - PA-4 aluminum, particle size no more than 100 µm — 7-10; - natural magnesium sulfate MgSO4*7H2O, particle size no more than 100 µm — 12-13; - aluminosilicate brick scrap — 30; - periclase-chromite brick scrap — 30-33; clay, fraction no more than 0.5 mm — 17-20.
