Abstract
This utility model relates to the treatment of recycled and wastewater, as well as other liquids, from mechanical impurities and emulsified droplets. It can be used in fish farming, oil, oil refining, petrochemical, coal, chemical, and other industries. The objective of this utility model is to increase treatment efficiency, enhance operational reliability, and extend the service life of a thin-layer settling tank. The said problem is solved by the fact that a thin-layer settling tank contains a housing with a supply channel-distributor, inclined parallel plates, a flow divider in the form of jet-directing vertical blades of variable length with an increase in the latter in the direction of the flow of the initial liquid, inlet and outlet pipes, a bin for sediment, the flow divider is located in the supply channel-distributor, the settling tank is equipped with a louvered grate consisting of plates, placed in the supply channel with a gap to the vertical blades of the flow divider, wherein the grille louvers are installed at an angle to the flow of liquid, according to the utility model, a vibration drive is installed on the body of the apparatus, connected by means of a rod to the upper or lower end of the louvered grille or to the upper or lower end of each of the plates of the louvered grille, and the other end of the louvered grille or these plates is connected to the body by means of a hinge, where the rod enters the body, the place is sealed using a bellows. The said problem is also solved by the fact that in the method of operating a thin-layer settling tank, which consists of feeding contaminated water into a supply channel-distributor, according to the utility model, the vibration drive is switched on when the maximum permissible hydraulic resistance of the thin-layer settling tank, recorded by a pressure sensor, is reached, The vibration drive is switched off when the hydraulic resistance drops below the minimum permissible hydraulic resistance of the thin-layer settling tank, according to a signal from the pressure sensor. Compared to existing devices of the same size, the proposed thin-layer settling tank provides an increase in productivity from 29.6 m³ / h to 36 m³ / h, i.e., by 30-40% due to the uniform distribution of liquid across the live cross-section of the settling tank, and an additional 20% due to the forced removal of sediment from the surface of the plates.
