System for forecasting target coverage of prevent-exposure prophylaxis of HIV infection

Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of public health, epidemiology and digital technologies in healthcare and is designed to predict the target coverage of pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV infection among key populations. The system is implemented as a hardware and software complex and contains a data processing server, a specialist workstation, a mobile user device, a module for inputting epidemiological parameters, a computing forecasting module, a scenario modeling module, a results visualization module, a data transmission communication module, information display facilities, and a power supply. The computing module provides automated calculation of the required number of individuals to be included in the pre-exposure prophylaxis program, determination of the target level of coverage of preventive measures and the additional need to expand the preventive program based on the entered epidemiological parameters. The technical result consists in increasing the accuracy and validity of planning programs for pre-exposure prophylaxis of HIV infection, ensuring the reproducibility of calculations, increasing the efficiency of the use of healthcare resources and the possibility of operational scenario modeling when epidemiological conditions change. The useful model can be used by specialists from HIV prevention centers, government healthcare organizations, and non-governmental organizations when planning preventive measures.
