A composition in the form of an isotonic powder for the preparation of a sports drink

Abstract

The utility model relates to the food industry, in particular to sports and functional nutrition, and can be used to restore water-electrolyte balance, increase endurance, and accelerate the body's regeneration processes after physical exertion. The objective of the utility model is to create a multi-component isotonic powder composition for the preparation of a sports drink that combines electrolyte replenishment, energy support, amino acid restoration, and phytocomponent protection, providing increased endurance, accelerated muscle tissue recovery, and improved overall health of the athlete. Technical result: the claimed composition ensures rapid replenishment of water-electrolyte balance, increased endurance and performance during physical activity, improved muscle tissue recovery thanks to the amino acid complex (BCAA + L-glutamine), stimulation of mitochondrial energy metabolism due to succinic acid and L-carnitine tartrate, antioxidant and adaptogenic action due to plant extracts and vitamin C. The components are contained in the following ratio, wt.%: L-leucine — L-isoleucine — L-valine — 2.0–5.0; L-glutamine — 0.5–3.0; creatine monohydrate — 1.3–4.5; taurine — 1.0–3.0; electrolytes — 1.2–3.0; medicinal plant extracts — 0.05–3.0; L-carnitine tartrate — 0.4–1.5; succinic acid — 0.1–1.0; juniper extract — 0.005–0.5; ascorbic acid — 0.01–0.2; rebaudioside A — 0.01–0.09; dextrose — the rest. The composition may contain one or more medicinal plant extracts selected from the following group: licorice, stinging nettle, cistanche, rose rhodiola, safflower leuzea, Chinese magnolia vine, fireweed, thyme, ginger, peppermint, lemon balm, barberry, sea buckthorn, rose hips, currant, and tarragon. The composition is intended for the preparation of a sports drink with isotonic properties.
