Abstract

The utility model relates to the construction industry, in particular to methods for preparing liquid, concentrated and stable suspensions from microsilica used as an active mineral additive for concrete. Increasing the aggregate stability and flowability of the suspension over time, as well as enhancing its activity as a mineral admixture for concrete, is carried out by a method of preparing an aqueous suspension of microsilica, which includes mixing microsilica, water and a stabilizing component. According to the utility model, a mixture of Master Rheobuild 1000 and Sika Control-10L PSA is used as a stabilizing component, in the following proportions of components, by mass. %: Microsilica 40-70, Master Rheobuild 1000 0.5-1.0, Sika Control-10L PSA 0.2-0.5, Water the rest. The technical result is based on the general effect of providing steric and electrostatic stabilization of the suspension. This increases its aggregative stability and flowability over time, as a result of which its activity as a mineral admixture for concrete increases.
