Abstract

The utility model relates to medical equipment, namely to orthopedic and rehabilitation devices, and can be used to restore hand function in patients after a stroke, upper limb injuries, spastic disorders, and other neurological diseases. The wrist and finger orthosis with an electrical stimulation module contains a forearm plate, a wrist plate, strap fixation elements, individual strap fasteners for each finger, a wrist joint fixation mechanism, and an electrical stimulation module. The wrist joint fixation mechanism contains hinge joints, eccentric clamps, and interacting toothed surfaces that allow for adjustment and fixation of the wrist position via rotation axes and longitudinal translation axes. The electrical stimulation module comprises a housing, an electronic control unit, controls and indicators, control software, and skin gel electrodes. The technical result consists in expanding the functional capabilities of the orthosis by providing adjustable mechanical fixation of the wrist joint and fingers in combination with electrical stimulation of the muscles of the upper limb, increasing the convenience of individual adjustment of the position of the hand and fingers, and increasing the effectiveness of rehabilitation of patients with spastic disorders.
