Abstract
The invention relates to agricultural microbiology and represents a new strain of Bacillus thuringiensis BtHp-01 recommended as the basis for a biopreparation for protecting alfalfa from Phytonomus variabilis, a root rot pathogen, and possessing growth-promoting activity. The technical result is achieved by submerged cultivation of the B. thuringiensis BtHp-01 strain and the production of a liquid spore-crystal complex containing cells, spores, and biologically active metabolites. Gas chromatographic analysis revealed that the main compounds are 2-Heptanone and 2-Heptanone, 6-methyl, their percentage content accounting for 41% of the total components in the culture fluid. These compounds possess complex fungicidal, insecticidal, and growth-promoting properties. The component composition also includes: Pyrazine and its derivative Pyrazine, trimethyl-, Phenylethyl Alcohol, Butanoic acid, etc., which have biological activity.
