Abstract
The invention relates to the field of bismuth raw material processing, in particular to methods of bismuth raw material processing by hydrochloric acid leaching with subsequent extraction of bismuth from hydrochloric acid solutions. The purpose of the invention is to implement a closed leaching solution and desorbing solution technological process with a minimum consumption of a complexing reagent and excluding the use of fire-explosive technological operations. Bismuth is extracted from the leaching solution of bismuth raw materials with anion exchange resin, and sorbate is returned to leaching. Bismuth is desorbed from the saturated resin with alkaline sorbitol solutions containing 0.15-0.5 mol / l sorbitol and 0.25-2.5 mol / l alkali. From the desorbate, bismuth is precipitated in the form of bismuth sulfide with the addition of alkali metal sulfide at its consumption, equal to 95% of the stoichiometry, or in the form of bismuth oxychloride by neutralization of the desorbate with hydrochloric acid to a pH of less than 10. Ballast salts are removed from the matrix of bismuth deposition by evaporation and crystallization, after which the desorbent is regenerated, which is returned to desorption.
