Abstract

The invention relates to an aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device is capable of generating aerosol from the aerosol-generating material. The device has a reservoir that forms a heating area for receiving at least a section of the product containing aerosol-generating material. The tank includes a peripheral wall and a protrusion protruding from the peripheral wall into the heating area. The incision is made in the peripheral wall and at least partially forms a protrusion.
