Abstract

The patented invention, the method of operation of an electromagnetic jet engine, uses 3 and (or) more electrodes instead of 2 electrodes to create jet thrust (the voltage levels of the electrodes correspond to the inequality U1< U2<...< Un-1< Un where Un is the voltage of electrode No. n with respect to negative electrode No. 1). Also, the acceleration of negative ions is used to create jet thrust, causing the movement of ions from the negative electrode towards the positive one. Using the patented method increases energy conversion, i.e., greater jet thrust is obtained with less energy consumed to obtain this thrust.
