The present invention relates to the technical field of respiratory monitoring, and specifically discloses a neonatal respiratory distress risk assessment method. The method comprises: acquiring thoracoabdominal movement and nasal alar frame sequences; extracting respiratory edge variation features; locating structural fluctuation segments; analyzing rhythm coherence; identifying abnormal trajectories; extracting parameter conflict intervals; tracking concurrent abnormal manifestations; refining risk segments; and outputting a neonatal respiratory distress risk assessment conclusion. The invention achieves accurate identification of weak, early-stage rhythm-disordered breathing, thereby improving the timeliness and accuracy of the assessment.
