Abstract
The present invention discloses an underground seepage channel-based gravity-fed artificial recharge system for a phreatic aquifer. The system comprises ground, a river channel, an underground seepage channel, and an underground seepage tank. The river channel is formed on one side of the ground, the underground seepage channel is formed on one side of the river channel, and the underground seepage tank is fixedly arranged inside another side of the ground. One end of the underground seepage channel distal from the river channel is connected to the underground seepage tank. In the present invention, this recharge system utilizes the underground seepage channel to divert surface water sources for infiltration recharge to the phreatic aquifer, subsequently recharging the aquitard and the confined aquifer. Compared to directly recharging water into a confined aquifer, this process improves the quality of the recharge water, preventing groundwater from being polluted.
