Strain of bacillus velezensis and application thereof

Abstract

The present invention provides a strain of Bacillus velezensis (B. velezensis) and an application thereof, falling within the technical field of microorganisms. The preservation number of B. velezensis is CCTCC NO: M20232019, and the strain is named B. velezensis XDY66. Bacterial cells are rod-shaped, spore-forming, and Gram-positive bacteria; the COG3208 gene of the B. velezensis encodes a surfactin thioesterase subunit related to the surfactin synthesis process, indicating that B. velezensis XDY66 has the ability to synthesize new surfactin. AntiSMASH analysis shows that the genome of B. velezensis XDY66 contains 13 secondary metabolic gene clusters, having the ability to synthesize a variety of antagonistic compounds; and it provides new microbial resources and prevention ideas for the biological control of related crop fungal diseases.
