Abstract

The invention relates to a construction site concrete skip of the so-called "lying" type, the body (4, 6) having a top filling opening and a bottom part ending in a discharge system (8), said body receiving on one of its sides a base (30) forming a support plane allowing the body of the skip to lie down when it rests on the ground, said base comprising two profiles (32) each having a straight part (34), forming the support plane, extended by a rounded part (36) which covers the discharge system, said body further comprising means (16) allowing the skip to be tilted so that it moves from its working position to its resting position, and conversely to be raised so that it moves from its resting position to its working position in which it can be moved to the point on the site where it is necessary to empty it of its concrete.This skip is remarkable in that its base (30) has at least one set of openings (44, 48) forming two parallel passages arranged in the same horizontal plane when the skip rests on the ground, designed to receive forklift forks (50).
