SUPPORT FRAME ASSEMBLY

Abstract

A support frame (1) comprises a reinforcement consisting of an upper straight frame element (3) and a parallel lower straight frame element (4) supported at their ends at intervals between them. At least two spans of diverging inclined coupling elements (5) extend from each other, with the ends (8) of the extending brace element each able to be fixed to the upper or lower straight frame element by means of a fastener (9). Limited relative longitudinal movement of the upper and lower straight frame elements is permitted before a fastener is fixed to fix the positions at which the ends of the extending coupling element are fixed to the upper and lower straight frame elements.In one application, two beams meet at a corner with a pylon (2, 15) pushed into the plane of the support frame (1) in a corner between two frame elements of each pair of beams to extend perpendicularly to the frame.
