AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing solar heat collection systems require a lower positioning of the heat reservoir to efficiently evacuate heat medium, which can be cumbersome and inefficient.

Method used

A device that utilizes compressed air to evacuate the heat medium from a solar heat collection device without the need for a lower positioned heat reservoir, utilizing a conduit and a heat transfer medium flowing through a tube to distribute the heat medium using compressed air.

Benefits of technology

Enables efficient heat medium evacuation from a solar heat collection device in a short time without the need for a lower positioned reservoir, enhancing operational efficiency.

Abstract

Provided are a heat-medium discharge device and heat-medium discharge method which make it possible to discharge a heat medium from a solar-heat collection device in a short amount of time, without positioning a tank in a position lower than the solar-heat collection device. This heat-medium discharge device is equipped with a vent section (15) provided at the peak height position of a heat-medium channel (2), a compressed-air supply means (12) for supplying compressed air to the heat-medium channel (2) when discharging the heat medium, a pipe (5) connected to the heat-medium channel (2), and a tank (6) which is connected to the pipe (5) and stores the heat medium flowing through the pipe (5) and delivered from the heat-medium channel (2) by compressed air. During discharge of the heat medium, when air is introduced into the heat-medium channel (2) by opening the vent section (15) and compressed air is supplied from the compressed-air supply means (12), it is possible to store, in the tank (6), the heat medium flowing through the pipe (5) and delivered from the heat-medium channel (2) by the compressed air. Consequently, it is possible to discharge a heat medium from a solar-heat collection device (1) by using the pressure of compressed air in a short amount of time, without positioning a tank (6) in a position lower than the solar-heat collection device.

Description

In the reservoir (6), the heat transfer medium flows through the pipe (5) and is distributed from the heat transfer medium channel (2) by means of compressed air. Therefore, it is possible to evacuate a heat transfer medium from a solar heat collection device (1) using compressed air pressure in a short period of time, without needing to position the reservoir (6) lower than the solar heat collection device.

Claims

MY 895٠2 769 15 Chiyoda Corporation DEMANDS 1. Heat transfer medium evacuation device for evacuating a heat transfer medium from a heat transfer medium channel (2) of a solar heat collection device (1) including the medium channel 5 heat transfer fluid (2), the heat transfer fluid evacuation device comprising: a vent portion (15) which is provided at the highest position of the heat transfer medium channel (2) and introduces air into the medium channel 10 heat transfer fluid (2) during the evacuation of the medium heat transfer fluid; -means for supplying compressed air (12) which are provided in the heat transfer medium channel (2) and supply compressed air to the middle channel heat transfer fluid (2) during the evacuation of the heat transfer fluid; an inclined pipe (5, 5a, 5b) which is connected to the heat transfer medium channel (2) and which is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane; a drain vessel (16) which is connected at a lower position than the connecting portion of the heat transfer medium channel (2) in the inclined pipe (5, 5a, 5b) and receives the heat transfer medium flowing from the heat transfer medium channel through the inclined pipe; and a pump (20) which supplies the heat transfer medium (2) from the drain container (16) into a reservoir (6), in which the heat transfer medium is a molten salt, a liquid metal, a solution or an oil.

2. A heat transfer medium evacuation method for evacuating a heat transfer medium from a heat transfer medium channel (2) of a solar heat collection device (1) including the heat transfer medium channel (2), the heat transfer medium evacuation method comprising: !'introduction of air into the heat transfer medium channel (2) at the highest position of the heat transfer medium channel and the supply of compressed air to heat transfer medium channel (2) during a heat transfer medium evacuation operation such that a heat transfer medium flows towards an inclined pipe (5, 5a, 5b) connected to the heat transfer medium channel (2) and inclined 5 relative to a horizontal plane; the reception of the heat transfer medium flowing through the inclined pipe (5, 5a, 5b) into a drain container (16) connected at a position lower than the connection portion of the heat transfer medium channel 10; and !'supplying the heat transfer medium from the draining container (16) into a reservoir (6) by a pump (20), in which the heat transfer medium is a molten salt, a liquid metal, a solution or an oil.
