Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and system for anchoring a thermoplastic waterproofing membrane (13) to a longitudinally extending wall (12) of a compacted bulk material hydraulic structure (10). The waterproofing membrane (13) is welded to a plurality of laterally spaced, continuous anchoring strips (14) of thermoplastic material extending vertically in a transverse direction from the wall (12) from an upper to a lower position of the hydraulic structure (10); each continuous anchoring strip (14) consists of a plurality of axially aligned and partially overlapping modular strips (14''), welded together and fixed to concrete curbs (15), defining a surface for depositing the waterproofing membrane (13), the curbs (15) extending longitudinally and / or transversely with respect to the wall (12) of the hydraulic structure (10).< !--endfragment-- >
