Frequency Division Multiplexing for Wireless Power Providers

Abstract

Various embodiments are described concerning frequency-division multiplexing for wireless power providers, using surface-guided waveguide probes for power transmission. Surface-guided waveguide probes can transmit power on multiple frequencies with potentially overlapping service areas. Frequency-agile power receivers can tune to at least one frequency. Cost, availability, and / or other information can be provided to the wireless power receivers. Power consumption can be reported by the wireless power receivers to the power providers.
