CD19-SPECIFIC CHIMERIC ANTIBODIES AND ANTIGENIC RECEPTORS

Abstract

The invention relates to CD19-binding molecules, including anti-CD19 antibodies, including antibody fragments such as single-chain fragments, and chimeric receptors comprising antibodies, such as chimeric antigen receptors (CARs). Among the antibodies, the invention relates to human antibodies, particularly those that compete for CD19 binding with reference antibodies, such as murine antibodies. In some embodiments, the antibodies exhibit functional properties similar to the reference antibodies, such as comparable binding affinities and / or comparable competitive inhibition properties. The invention also relates to genetically modified cells expressing the chimeric receptors, and the uses of the binding molecules and cells in adoptive cell therapy.
