SYSTEM FOR HANDLING WASTE BINS IN A SIDE-LOADING VEHICLE

Abstract

system for handling refuse bins in side-loading vehicles, which includes a pair of arms associated with a structure which brings them closer to the bin so that it can be grasped, and whose structure, after approaching the side of the vehicle, lifts it again and carries the refuse bin until it is tipped to be discharged into the hopper of the collection vehicle.It includes 3d scanning means (3) for the different types of skips and a processing control unit, as well as a central control unit (6) to which information is sent from the control unit associated with the 3d scanning means, to determine each type of skip and the positioning of the gripping bolts (8), by sending the corresponding commands to the skip approach devices, comprising means for rotating and adjusting the pair of arms (9) for holding the skips, lifting means (2), and means for anchoring the bolts on the skips and opening the skip lid.<!--endfragment-->
