Three-dimensional skin tissues manipulated, corresponding assemblies and their production processes

Abstract

The invention relates to three-dimensional biological skin tissues, comprising: a dermal layer including dermal fibroblasts; and an epidermal layer including keratinocytes, the epidermal layer in contact with the dermal layer to form the three-dimensional, genetically engineered biological skin tissue. Also described are networks of modified skin tissues and methods for manufacturing engineered skin tissues.
