Abstract

For a game of chance, a selected game value is generated. This selected game value is used to determine whether the player wins or loses. A historical value of a financial asset used to generate the selected game value is displayed. The historical value is generated after the player's game input is received and before the display shows the selected game value. The historical value is generated by a financial exchange independent of the game table. The historical value generated by the financial exchange can be verified by an internet query on an information server. The amount of detail displayed for the historical value is based on the player's selection.
