The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a homogeneous, solid, particulate, urea-based material comprising elemental sulfur. The invention further relates to a homogeneous, solid, urea-based material comprising small elemental sulfur phases in a urea-based base material and formed by an accretion process. The product is particularly suitable as a fertilizer.
