Abstract

The present invention relates to chimeric receptors for engineered cells for adoptive therapy, including T cells and genetically modified cells. In some aspects, the invention also relates to methods and compositions for engineering and producing cells, cell-containing compositions, and a method for administering them to subjects. In some embodiments, the cells, such as T cells, contain genetically modified antigen receptors that bind specifically to antigens, such as a chimeric antigen receptor (car), and contain an intracellular signaling domain capable of inducing traf6-mediated signaling. In some embodiments, the characteristics of the cells and the methods provide increased or improved activity, efficacy, and / or persistence.
