AMMONIA-BASED DESULFURIZATION PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR ADDING AMMONIA IN DIFFERENT CHAMBERS

Abstract

The present invention relates to an ammonia-based desulfurization process by adding ammonia to different chambers, an oxidation section comprising an oxidation chamber and an ammonia mixing chamber in fluid communication with each other, and an ammonia absorbent added to the ammonia mixing chamber. Preferably, the absorption-oxidation cycle of the process includes a fluid circulation between the oxidation chamber and a secondary spray absorption section and a fluid circulation between the ammonia mixing chamber and a primary spray absorption section, and there is at least one communication between the two circulations via fluid communication between the oxidation chamber and the ammonia mixing chamber.
