Abstract
A molding process for a polyurethane object, in particular a shoe sole, comprising the steps of: - preparing polyurethane scrap in granular form, said scrap having a breaking load greater than 20 kg / cm² and a density greater than 200 g / l, - wetting said waste with a polyurethane binder to obtain an agglomerate of waste and binder, - inserting the agglomerate into a mold (4), so that the percentage by weight of the binder is at least equal to 10% of the total weight of the agglomerate introduced into the mold (4), - closing the mold (4) and baking the agglomerate with steam blown inside the mold (4), so as to obtain an increase in the molecular weight of the binder and the incorporation of the waste into a binder matrix, - cooling the mold (4) and removing the molded part.
