Abstract

The invention relates to a method (10) for establishing a local broadband network having the following characteristics: the electronics determine a geographical location (12) of the electronics; the electronics measure a real state (13-17) of the broadband network at the location (12); the electronics select an external function (18) in the broadband network based on the location (12) and the current state (13-17); the electronics report at least the location (12) and the external function (18) via a common communication backbone to a central database (26); and the electronics follow a communication protocol of the broadband network that depends on the external function (18). The invention further relates to corresponding electronics, a corresponding computer program, and a corresponding storage medium.
