Abstract

The invention relates to an unbaked thermal and / or acoustic insulation product, made of mineral wool, advantageously glass wool, in the form of a mat comprising a layer of mineral wool bonded with at least one binder, said bonded layer having: - a base weight, or grammage, less than or equal to 350g / m2, preferably less than or equal to 300g / m2, or even less than or equal to 250g / m2, and possibly greater than or equal to 200g / m2, - a micron of at most 3 to less than 5 grams, preferably of at most 15 l / min, more preferably of at most 12 l / min and of at least 9 l / min, and the mat having a thickness greater than or equal to 10 mm, or greater than or equal to 15 mm, or even greater than or equal to 25 mm. The objective of the invention is to offer a lighter thermal and / or acoustic insulation product while maintaining satisfactory thermal and / or acoustic insulation properties and good mechanical resistance.
