Abstract

Management of electrical components in a motor vehicle comprising an electric motor (61, 62) and an electrical power system associated with said motor (51, 52), an electricity storage battery (10), an electric charging system by connection to an external electrical energy source and an electrical power system associated with the charging system (50), as well as one or more electrical power systems associated with other vehicle functions (53-56).The management includes a receiving step (e1) of a command to switch off a function to be switched off among the electric motor (61, 62), the charging system or one of said other vehicle functions, a determining step (e2), on the basis of predetermined criteria, of a possible time delay for switching off one or more vehicle power electrical systems (50-56) electrically linked to the function to be switched off in order to prepare for a possible reactivation of the function to be switched off, a step of carrying out (e3) the time delay, then, in the absence of a command to reactivate the function to be switched off, a switching off step (e4) of said one or more power electrical systems (50-56) electrically linked to the function to be switched off.
