Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, and more specifically relates to a vehicle door trim pocket device.

[0002] More specifically, the present invention relates to the attachment of such a vehicle door trim pocket device to a vehicle door trim. STATE OF THE ART

[0003] It is known that a vehicle door, in particular a motor vehicle door, comprises, on the passenger compartment side, a door trim. Such a door trim comprises an opening to allow a user to place objects in a storage compartment device integrated into the door.

[0004] The vehicle door thus has a multi-layer structure with, fixed to the trim, the door trim storage compartment device, then, continuing towards the exterior of the vehicle, a door lining to which the storage compartment device is also fixed, on the side opposite the trim, then the bodywork part corresponding to the outer layer of the door, the door lining being fixed to said bodywork part.

[0005] As is known, the trim has a hollow shape, with a bottom and a side wall extending orthogonally to the bottom for a few centimeters, towards the outside, in other words on the side opposite the passenger compartment.

[0006] The opening for accessing the storage compartment device is provided in the bottom. The door trim storage compartment device has the shape of a hollow tray, with a housing formed by a concave cavity intended to be located opposite the opening of the trim, the housing having a bottom and a side wall, the storage compartment device is furthermore fixed to the door trim.

[0007] More specifically, in the state of the art, the peripheral edge of the storage compartment device comprises orifices to allow the passage of means for fixing said storage compartment device to the bottom of the door trim. The storage compartment device is not fixed to the side wall of the door trim. In particular, the lower part of the storage compartment device, that is to say the part located on the side of the bottom of the door, in other words on the side of the floor of the vehicle when the door is installed on a vehicle, is not fixed to the lower wall, that is to say located opposite, of the door trim.

[0008] One problem is that, since the door trim is hollow, the said lower wall of the door trim can become deformed, particularly when transporting the said trim to a factory for installation on a vehicle door.

[0009] In addition, projections may be provided to extend from the lower portion of the pocket cubby device to assist in guiding the pocket cubby device when it is positioned for attachment to a door trim. Felt pads may then be required to absorb vibrations from these projections.

[0010] Publication JP2016 141197A discloses a pocket emptier device according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0011] There is therefore a need for a reinforced fixing pocket device to stiffen the assembly formed by such a pocket device and a door trim to which it is fixed. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

[0023] It should be noted that the figures set out the invention in detail for implementing the invention, said figures can of course be used to better define the invention where appropriate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0024] In the following, the invention is described mainly in the context of implementation in a motor vehicle. However, the implementation of the device according to the invention in any land vehicle is also covered by the present invention.

[0025] In reference to the figure 1 , the aim is to implement the storage compartment device according to the invention in a vehicle door 1. Such a door 1 comprises a multi-layer structure with, from the outside to the inside of the passenger compartment, a bodywork part 20 forming the outer layer of the door 1, a door lining 30, a storage compartment device 40 fixed to the door lining 30, on one side, and on the other to the door trim 50.

[0026] THE figures 2 And 3 show the door trim pocket device 40, according to the invention. On the figure 2 , the pocket emptying device 40 is shown alone and, on the figure 3, we see it fixed on a door trim 50.

[0027] The pocket emptier device 40 is formed of a base surface, in other words a plate, which has a depression, in other words a concave hollow or a cavity forming a housing 45 of the pocket emptier device 40. The pocket emptier device 40 is for example made of molded plastic.

[0028] The storage compartment device 40 may also comprise an opening 44 arranged in the base surface to allow the passage of an element of a loudspeaker integrated into the door 1 for example. Beyond the housing 45 and the possible opening 44, the tray of the storage compartment device forms a peripheral edge 46 of the storage compartment device 40.

[0029] The trim 50 has a tray shape, with a bottom 51, in other words a trim tray, comprising a substantially flat portion, and a side wall 52 extending orthogonally to the bottom 51, in the direction of the bodywork part 20 of the door 1. The bottom 51 of the door trim 50 has an opening 53 (visible on the figure 1 ) to access the pocket emptying device 40, and more precisely the housing 45 of said pocket emptying device 40.

[0030] The pocket-emptying device 40 is configured to be fixed to the door trim 50. The housing 45 is then configured to be located opposite the opening 53 of the door trim 50.

[0031] The side wall 52 of the door trim 50 comprises a lower portion 52B. On the one hand, as explained previously, this lower portion 52B of the side wall 52 of the door trim 50 has an a priori fragility: its thinness and the hollow nature of the door trim 50 mean that, in the state of the art, this lower portion 52B can collapse during the packaging and transport of the door trim 50, for example to a factory.

[0032] As shown in the figures 2 And 3 , to overcome this problem, the pocket emptying device 40 according to the invention comprises at least one reinforcing and connecting element 41, 42, 43 intended to be welded to the lower portion 52B of the side wall 52 of the door trim 50.

[0033] The reinforcing and connecting elements 41, 42, 43 allow the pocket-emptying device 40 to be rigidly fixed to the door trim 50.

[0034] According to the invention, and shown in the figures, the reinforcing and connecting elements 41, 42, 43 extend from the edge 46 of the storage compartment device 40, orthogonally to the base surface, in a direction opposite to the bottom 51 of the door trim 50, so as to run along the side wall 52.

[0035] More specifically, the reinforcing and connecting elements 41, 42, 43 extend along the lower portion 52B of the side wall 52 of the door trim 50.

[0036] Preferably, the reinforcing and connecting elements 41, 42, 43 extend in mechanical contact or in quasi-mechanical contact along the lower portion 52B of the side wall 52 of the door trim 50, so as to prevent any sagging of said lower portion 52B when the storage compartment device 40 is fixed to the door trim 50.

[0037] Preferably, the reinforcing and connecting elements 41, 42, 43 have a reinforcing portion 410, 420, 430 which extends, as detailed above, along the lower portion 52B of the side wall 52 of the door trim 50, and a fixing portion, forming in particular a flat 411, 421, 431 orthogonal to the reinforcing portion 410, 420, 430.

[0038] The flats 411, 421, 431 may comprise a through hole to allow the passage of screws or guide means, such as lugs, or simply to facilitate the welding provided to connect the storage compartment device 40 to the door trim 50. A weld is in fact provided to ensure the rigid fixing of the storage compartment device 40 to the door trim 50 at the flats 411, 421, 431.

[0039] Welding the connecting elements 41, 42, 43 to the door trim 50 makes it possible to ensure a rigid attachment of the storage compartment device 40 to the door trim 50. This prevents vibrations of the lower part of the storage compartment device 40 and eliminates the need to install felts, which are necessary, in the state of the art, to attenuate the vibrations of the lower part of the storage compartment device.

[0040] Furthermore, the rigid attachment of the storage compartment device 40 according to the invention to the door trim 50 allows for better pressing of said storage compartment device 40 against said door trim 50 and improves the quality of the screwing of the assembly formed by the storage compartment device 40 and the door trim 50 onto the door lining 30, in the absence of deformation of said door trim 50, in particular in its lower portion 52B of the side wall 52.
