Abstract

Lockable pipe sealing joint, pipe sleeve, and watertight pipe fitting for use in a pipeline. The pipe sealing joint comprises a ring-shaped body having a head along one end of the ring and a tail along the other end of the ring, with a portion of the body situated between the two. The ring-shaped body has an outer surface and an inner surface along its periphery. A deflection surface and a base surface are defined along the outer surface. The deflection surface is at a certain angle to a horizontal axis of the ring-shaped body, and a recessed socket is defined along the inner surface.The ring-shaped body is compressible so that, when the pipe sealing joint is installed between the pipe sleeve and the pipe, the deflection surface is pushed against the pipe and the hollow socket comes into contact by clamping with the pipe sleeve, thus forming a locked sealing joint between the pipe sleeve and the pipe.
