Abstract
The invention relates to an intelligent flowmeter designed for intravesical irrigation, incorporating an innovative system comprising a color sensor, a microcontroller board, and a motor pump. This revolutionary device enables precise detection of the characteristics of the fluid drained by the patient, thanks to a color sensor that analyzes the color of the outgoing fluid using RGB (red, green, blue) values. The data is then processed by a microcontroller board, equipped with a computer program, which adjusts the speed of the motor pump to regulate the flow of saline solution based on this information. This technology improves the quality of medical care while reducing the costs associated with saline consumption. Furthermore, the automatic detection of urinary retention contributes to patient safety and well-being.
