Abstract

The DOLPHOS process is a method for selectively transforming dolomite-rich waste into dicalcium phosphate, struvite, and hydroxyapatite. This process comprises the following steps:1. Dissolving the dolomite-rich waste with phosphoric acid2. Precipitating dicalcium phosphate by increasing the pH3. Removing calcium by adding ammonium sulfate4. Precipitating struvite by increasing the pH5. Precipitating hydroxyapatite by increasing the pH and adding calcium
